I bought this 299 app hoping that it will give the audio tour it promises Visited the park and couldnt find any audio tour in the app Considered my money a donation to the park otherwise I used chimani app Doesnt provide what it promises
This app is perfect for any visitor of the smokies Tons of info and all the 1 park guides included as an in app purchase Would love to see the Hiking Trails of the Smokies guide make it in as well so you could have full info of all trails in the park A must have

As a GSMA member I feel this is one app that is a musthave if you go to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Its very well done easy to navigate has gorgeous photography and works great on my iPod Touch Love the Cades Cove Tour and Auto Touring info Gee an app that will actually get used time and time again And the nice thing is I can get my GSMNP fix even when I cant be there o I love this app

Thank you Colin I am a park regular and a GSMA member and I am thrilled that the guide is so complete Its very well thought out and now have to begin the hunt for a bearproof iPhone case as Im sure Ill be taking the guide on the trails with me D The guide is easy to read and navigate and I highly recommend it especially if you are new to the area The only thing that might be missing is more information about some of the nearby towns BUT Im still digging thru the app I may not have found that page yet Great job Very well done
The thing I like most about this app is the ability to immerse myself in all sort of things about the park through the podcasts videos and photos as well as the texts of course I love the National Parks but I cant always get there especially in this economy Also I have an iPod Touch rather than iPhone and still I can thoroughly enjoy a virtual park visit This is great for me I cannot wait to see other parks as they get added A visit to a lovely National Park 1000 miles away for 500 Cant beat it Visit the park even if you cant get there

An ok very general guide Does not give a lot of information on anything To get any detail you are required to buy additional addons National Parks Explorer app does a better job but even it could be improved by the addition of mile markers to help locate specific attractions Mediocre at best

This is what a travel app should be Great pictures descriptions and information Love it Esp liked the Cades Cove Tour An the photography is just plain fantastic Wish the photos had gps coordinates so I could get to that spot WoW
I will add in that last star when this gets iPad support but this thing is amazing for me Being sort of new to the park it gives me a really great easy way to plan trips Fantastic needs iPad quality

I love all the information on hiking trails campgrounds wildlife history and safety This app is truly a wealth of information I particularly like the way it lets you pick a day hike based on features you want to see such as views or waterfalls and links these articles to the map directly The organization of articles can be a bit counterintuitive and disorganized but its worth the treasure hunt Extremely informative
Wow Finally something out there so I no longer have to carry a bunch of maps and books I like the categories and how easy it is to find the information you were looking for I am anxious for all of the upcoming new additions and hope all kinds of information will be added such as birds mammals etc Great information and easy to use
After trying the free app I had to have this One Now I gotta follow it up with a trip to the Smokies thanx for the great app Make another one Ill buy it Loved it
Very nice application with excellent information on the park I live very near the park but thought this app provided a lot of information in one place where maybe I wont lose it Never know when Im going to get a chance to sneak away and may not have all my gear with me This will give me enough info to take off on a spur of the moment triphike and still be able to plan appropriately Looking forward to other additions to the GSMNP guides that are already there Keep up the great work
Over the years and many visits we have picked up almost every pamphlet and guide we have run across This application gives us practically every guide in one convenient place This will prove indispensable on our next visit The most useful features include the list of all the activities and places the history or stories of each area and the map and directions function The latter is probably going to be the most useful overall Some guides have videos and photographs The hiking trail guides are also a favorite feature as some have photos but all tell the location description and difficulty of the hike This will help us plan which hikes we can do based on how much our kids can handle I guess the only thing I can say that is even slightly negative is that there are not enough photos EXCELLENT app that will be a musthave the next time we make the trip to the Great Smoky Mountains and will be an app I will read from even when Im not in the Smokies Like having every brochure greenly paperless
Headed to the GSM in 4 days I just found this app Havent even opened it yet its still installing BUT based on all the reviews I know its gonna ROCK so Im giving it 5 s already Will update when we get back GSMHere we come
