As long as you realize that this is not an complete game It is an series of who knows how many I guess that is why the price is so low Also it makes more questions So no solutions per chapter either I loved the artwork but no storyline for me It was frustrating that I was as ignorant at the beginning as in the end of the chapter        Too short

Art work is great game is like all of the old search and solve games like kings quest etc Unfortunately several areas including the grammar spelling and other issues do pop up in a game that should be a bit more polished Additionally the storygame ends very abruptly after what for me was less than a couple of hours of gameplay You are often running back to the same locations albeit beautiful to complete very disjointed and menial tasks only to be met with more of the same thing at every turn All of this only to be rewarded with To be continued after what seemed like no time at all and when the game was just warming upI would have loved to of seen a completed storyline or some additional follow up rather than a cashin on separating one already seemingly short story into several apps     Needs to be a complete app for 799 not a portion of a story

Decent game but seems a bit pricey for how short it is They should also work on their English translation Good attention to detail and enjoyed music           Overpriced

dont give up both dev and 1112 fans the update shows us they r still working on it and im just so excited with the coming episode 3 Waiting and to be continued                 yesthey r working on it

It has been nearly two years since the Developer last updated the game and it still has a gamestopping bug already reported by another reviewer the screen repeatedly freezes when trying to use the crowbar on planks in Goodmans warehouse I am using my iPad 2 running iOS 511 and simply cant understand why this bug hasnt been squashed by now unless putting the next episode onto the app store was more important than fixing this one Not Acceptable     Gamestopping bug spoils this app

I liked the quality of the gameplay and the artwork The English translation is awkward but the imperfect translations are amusing What disappointed me was that after you work through many scenes the game just ends The mystery is not solved There is no Aha moment Its like a serial and the episode ends without having resolved one mystery and starting another I love this style of game but I want a complete story I want resolution Then the game maker can lead me into another adventure and leave me at a cliffhanger to buy the next episode This game doesnt get that far        Good gameplay but no the plot isnt resolved

What there is to the game is beautiful with wonderful graphics and sound but ultimately that is overwhelmed by the negatives The story is short finished in a few hours There are several points where there is no clear direction so you are reduced to searching everywhere in every location hoping to find whatever random thing in a random location you need to move the story forward The world is very small and the story is too linear At any given time there is exactly one correct next action to move the story forward In a larger game world when one lead is blocked you can pursue other leads In this game when you are blocked you pretty much need to resort to reading a walkthrough to get unstuck Most character interaction is the usual picking text from a list As a minor negative you also have the ability to type text to characters which would be cool but they do not appear to recognize anything at least that i tried and there is no guidance as to how to phrase things so that they might understand you On top of that they keyboard is in ABC order instead of QWERTY so typing is horribly painful The biggest problem is that the story feels like part 2 of a three part story That is things do not make any sense at the beginning because you have no context and did not resolve at the end so you basically end up paying a lot for an extremely incomplete unsatisfying story So aside from it being pretty the only good thing that I can say is that I only wasted a few hours engaged in a mystery in which I learned nothing coherent and there is no way to actually solve the mystery I do not like to give it one star since the atmospherics are fantastic but the whole experience was so pointless that i cannot give it more stars I can only hope that in the future the team that produced this decides to apply their obviously considerable talents to a project that is less pointless Perhaps they could hire an experience game scriptwriter     beautiful but tool short and incomplete

This game was a lot of fun only gave it 4 stars because i wish it had taken longer Im looking forward to episode 3 The first game of this style that I have liked for iPhone or iPad              Great game with unique visual style

The game itself is beautiful with many realistic scenes and well done graphics However it is WAY too short to warrant the price I thought I was maybe a quarter of the way through the game if that when it abruptly ended Broken Sword Directors Cut a similar style point and click adventure game was probably five times as long if not more Additionally it is quite obvious especially in the later sections of the game that the developer is not a native English speaker There are more than a few typos and VERY strange phrasings in the dialogue        Well done but too short

Its refreshing to see a group of developers who really care about taking the time to make a quality game while still listening to the fans feedback The artwork is TOPNOTCH and the story is always engaging I played the first episode but if you havent dont worry theres a recap in the beginning so you can dive right in The puzzles are interesting and the difficulty is just right for me The game took me about 67 hours to complete so its definiately worth the price plus its always the first game I showcase to people now on my iPad who want to see what the device is capable of Highly recommended                 This game keeps getting better

Its tedious to play you have to go to the same places over and over No much fun at all No much interaction No puzzles only sudoku The dialogs are poor Good graphics but thats all Much buss has gone for this game good marketing but the game is not worth the money Super super short Hate the scene with the secretary you have to listen to the same dialogues over and over because there is no skip dialogue button Really disappointing     Boring and súper short

I was really enjoying this game But at the warehouse the screen froze and I have no way to do anything Cant even reload a saved game Extremely frustrated since Im not sure how or even if I can uninstall and reinstall without purchasing again Tried to go to app support but that is only a forum not a contact with the developers Disappointed at this point           App frozen

Im giving this app four stars only because the artwork is so good In fact the visual settings kept me entertained even though the episodical story is incomplete and supplies more questions than answers To Be Continued is the end resultguess we have to wait for the next installment I liked the characters a lot especially the hilarious hotel desk clerk The biggest problem with this game is the dialog It does have many typos as others have noted but whats much worse is that the characters all talk like theyre Asians who learned their English from a Brit and certainly have never been in the US Words phrases even complete sentences leave you scratching your head unless youre at least somewhat familiar with British jargon and with the odd grammatical twists common to Asian immigrants to America in the nineteenth century With the background supposedly in New York City this is extremely weird and jarring Regardless I still give the game four stars It was entertaining enough in spite of the constant incongruities In my estimation its worth 799 Others might not agree with me              BritishAsian Confusion

One of the most beautiful games on the iPad Superlative graphics a brief and informative tutorial that allows you to jump straight in and start playing the game An innovative and nice variant of the point and click adventure Worth the asking price glad I have it on my iPad Im my opinion consider it your next buy                 Exactly as described

For the price it should offer a little more I quickly tired of reading dialogue boxes superimposed over the same character graphic More like a trip through an online art gallery than an adventure But the potential is there     Great game maybe 6 months from now
