2015 Genesis

Live in New England First snow and remote start does not work In my opinion it is useless Have had remote starters in last seven cars Hyundai says 2015 genesis too new to have remote starter put in so sell you Hyundai blue link which so far seems to be worthless If doesnt improve for the winter Ill go elsewhere to have a remote starter put in Hyundai should have improved blue link before forcing it on its customers Not happy How come they can put a remote starter in a 2014 genesis my wifes card but not a 2015 genesis my car     Blue link stinks

As others have stated this app is missing many core features that are still being actively promoted on Hyundais website and advertisingpromotional materials This includes things like geofencing and interaction with your smartphone for proactive alerts for weather traffic appointments Ive also experienced several remote start failures app says start was successfully sent only to arrive at a car that has not started a few minutes later Same thing with POIs in the last week alone Ive sent 2 POIs from the app that never showed up in the car The vehicle status that is supposed to show status of doors engine and AC after remote operations has never worked as well The monthly vehicle report doesnt really tell you anything as nothing is color coded it just lists systems so what does it mean Shame on Hyundai for blatantly false advertising on an expensive flagship vehicle feature I do love my 2015 Genesis 38 AWD Ultimate otherwise except for sunroof rattle but Hyundai needs to fix this app interesting that they call it the Genesis Intelligent Assistant on their site but not in the app store fitting as its far from intelligent at present     Not as advertised

It is much more reliable now and much better that it saves the password If they would incorporate TouchID and let me turn on the heated seatssteering wheel when I start it it would be 5 stars           Moving in the right direction

Have to re enter password all the time Cant be opened in iPad anymore It cant communicate with the car too many times Too slow to give results When it does it Subscription and car too expensive for this crapy and cheapy app     NEEDS AN URGENT FIX

Remote start is hitmiss works sometimes and not others Find my car rarely works Monthly Vehicle Report tells me nothing Throw this in the trash and start over     Worthless app

The application failed to find my parked car in the garage when only 30 feet away in my living room The application is not ready for prime time use I suspect the only functions that will work are the marketing related service and dealer special reminders     Does not work most of the time

This app has some neat features that would be great if you are in no hurry The app is so slow that it is almost pointless to use it It takes forever to open another eternity to refresh vehicle information and then additional wait time for the commands to make their way to the vehicle When compared to the viper smart start system on my other vehicle this system leaves a lot to be desired Love the car love the idea behind the app it needs a major improvement Also the 99 annual fee isnt outrageous but I would expect for the system to at least be better than the after market systems with 0 annual fee           Great idea poor execution

Just bought my new Genesis and downloaded this app Tried several times but it just crashes and will not open Not a happy camper     Will not open

I have had wonderful experience with the app Just love being able to set the temp in the car before getting in Just amazing Great interface for all the features available The new keep me logged in function is perfect Makes starting my car so much faster Loving the new push notifications                 Love my Genesisand this app

I use remote start twice a day everyday I drive and it works flawlessly Status update and direction download is sluggish though update iOS 9 broke it        Worked for me

I have a Bluelink app on my iPhone and it works great I couldnt find the same app on my iPad so I downloaded this This has no function whatsoever It opens to a map of Southern California and I live in NY I think this was not ready for release     What happened

This app does absolutely Nothing Its nothing but a map what a sad joke     Seriously Annoying to say the least

I do not know how I lived before remote start with climate control Already used it multiple times in the week I have had the car Thanks Hyundai                 Love the remote features

I purchased the Bluelink package for my 2015 Genesis for 1 main reason remote start Diving in to a warm car in January in the Midwest is worth something If only it worked more than 13 of the time About the time I get fed up enough to call Hyundai and demand my money back it starts working Just long enough to lull me into thinking that they have the bugs worked out But then I get the dreaded our servers are really busy right now messages and yanked back to the reality that Bluelink service is just awful unreliable and definitely over priced     Remote Start Seldom Works

I have been using the bluelink app instead At least with that you dont have to enter your password every time and wait 5 minutes while it communicates Please update For the subscription its definitely not worth the money Standard Bluelink app works better     Needs major work

App works great with my Genesis Pro Send POI and blue link remote is really convenient Design is cool and easy to use Con Some features didnt work when I first tried the app because I didnt have Blue Link I recommend getting blue link packages to use the app                 Great App with New Genesis

Has my car in France POI nearest gas station 1000 mile away Even when you tell it were the car is still does not function This app has vey long way to go     Does not work

Where do I start Nice idea but poorly executed and chronically unreliable 5050 chance of a point of interest sent from the app actually making it to the car Missing features vs the list they use to sell you at the dealer Like geofencing for example This is the app for a top of the range car so why is stuff missing 1 in 4 chance that remote start will fail to send My car is in an open parking lot so that is hardly the issue Very weird security requirements Ask it to remember you when you log on and when you open the app having not used it overnight it remembers you ok But log on having not used it for 30 minutes and the session has expired and you need to log in again I appreciate wanting to protect lock unlock etc but why on Gods good earth do I have to dig out my password to send a POI to the car And why is it ok to be away for longer Overall they need to work on communications reliability and user interface design Its not up to par with the competition A tool I cant depend on doesnt get used        Highly unreliable missing features

The latest version does not work on my Ipad2 When launched it goes directly to maps Previous version worked     App does work on IPad

I like the fact the app keeps you logged in again Seems to be more reliable Lets hope its it stays reliable              New update works better

A demo mode would be nice Since it is vehicle specific how about it tells you how much gas you have left              Ok but

good app remote service and communications to the car sometimes problematic but seems to be getting better in my area would be really cool if the App has Apple Watch support turn car onoff find car etc also add more detail to the vehicle diagnostic reports to the developers keep improving the app to get people who may not have decided to get a Genesis and those who already drive one that this is just the beginning to people considering using the remote services this App works just fine on my iPhone 6              Add Apple Support

It seems that Im the exception to all negative reviews or Hyundai has completed a few bug fixes I just got my new Genesis last week and tried the Blue Link stuff today for the first time Each and every function operates flawlessly The system even sends me an email to notify me of each operation Very very nice                 As Advertised

This app is a big disappointment having to enter a complex password every time is archaic One would think with the advancements made with electronics that Hyundai could get this rightI just hope our new Genesiss software that runs the vehicle doesnt turn out to be as as bad as this collection of code It is absolutely 4th world class It doesnt even provide the links it says it does in the FAQs Another gripe is there is no feedback as to whether the vehicle is started when a remote start is sent it says success but it does not accurately portray Taft the vehicle is actually running THIS APP IS A COMPLETE FAILURE     Crap

2015 Genesis owners I have 50 Ultimate Its important for the consumer to know that whats being advertised todate as of July 6th the Intelligent app does not have full functionality at this time It took me several calls to Hyundai and Blue Link to finally get the answer that the apps Aha Radio Pandora and SoundHound do not show up on the cars display and the Intelligent App does not work with your smartphone at this time calendar and other functions Google Glass to be released Soon Hyundai needs to get this right out of the gate to compete with Lexus Mercedes and BMW All that said I LOVE MY 2015 Genesis        Limited functions

Just picked up my 2015 Genesis and downloaded the app Works great Car starts within 20 second and you can cool or heat cabin Note the the car must be locked                 Remote

Works on 5s iOS 83 but not on iPad Air running iOS 83     Still Crashes On iPad

My first 6 months using the app were fairly successful with the auto start working most of the time and the POI working regularly Since roughly the early part of July the POI system has not worked Once I get to the send to Genesis tab and he app kicks me out regularly Hyundai says it is my phone           5050

When you are promised an app that will find your car and it never can that stinks They should ask apple how find your phone works A car is a lot bigger and more expensive     Real poor
