Something very irritating about the app store is that you have to buy the app before you know whether its a winner or a dog I guess the rationale is that its only a couple a bucks but its like a license to dip into tens of thousands of wallets PS I am an architect who expected to actually use this thing once in a while I had the impression that it somehow cleverly used the iphone camera parallax theory to automatically instantly calculate distances like some auto focus cameras do Forget about it     Architects Review Waste of time 2 bucks

The older version quit working when 40 os came out But this app has been fixed and works perfect again Thank you for the update                 Works again

Great for determining long distant measurements Only problem is the area calculation on the satellite measurements is not calculating area correctly I love the sonar feature              Allinone measuring tools

This is probably the most negative review Ive written for an iTunes Store App EVER Ive written very few reviews one way or the other but that Im stopping my busy day to write this one tells you something I loaded this on my iPhone 4 blurry images no support of retina display and tried a few of them and mostly it is instructions on how to pretty much approximate distances and measurements using the size of your foot and supplementing it with actual measurements with REAL measuring implements With very few exceptions it requires multiple gestiamating steps to do anything I can take the 2 hit I suppose but PLEASE save yourself the disappointment and move on This is less useful then a fart app No really seriously     Think of it this way drop 2 walk away

I dont mind the crashing as much as the unnecessary changes to the design Most of the tools I ever used before are inaccessible now I can get vaguely accurate measurements based on photos measure the distance to lightning strikes Cant even get to a ing ruler or compass Whatever at least they worked in the slow poorly animated toolbox flipping open Priorities     Useless now

Wide array of tools some I didnt know I needed until I tried them out Perplexed by the neg reviews Not sure what there is not to like Its graphically a little bland compared to the visual glitziness of some others And theres a small learning curve before one can grasp all of its possibilities but it has many more interesting and useful features than any other tool app Ive tried Very good and recommended              Excellent Feature Packed

I have a cheaper app that actually does a few of these things that can be done on the phone Thank god I got it for free Please dont waste money on it The negative reviews are all true Pure     Awful graphics

A very nifty app indeed There are several very clever tools here that would cover at least from a millimeter to a kilometer Also there are perfectly useful help videos built in never in the way but always easy to find This is one of the most nicely build apps Ive found out of dozens If I was really good at programming and put my mind to it I still wouldnt have done half this well                 Wow Several fine tools cover range

I dont understand why other users think its terrible I just measured things in several rooms including my tv screen which reaulted in 4238 inches just above the real number Just wish i could choose inches as a scale or other scales so i dont have to convert on another app Great job guys                 Awesome
