Quite enjoy this series of books and the bilingual capabilities are great Problem is that the English is full of typos This needs to be fixed Some pages also have three to four paragraphs of text but its impossible to control the flow of the text If you want to stay on the third paragraph for a while you cant After a set time itll go straight to the fourth paragraph and theres no way to go back to the third paragraph unless you double tap and go all the way back to the first paragraph Seems like these would be easy fixes Five stars if the fixes can be implemented Overall a nice book but

Its a bad book nothing like the little mermaid movie she has to plunge a knife in the princes heart and she turns into foam at the end they spell ALOT of words wrong I dont recommend this at all then again that is my opinion Bad book

The story is totally different The little mermaid pulls the prince on to the beach and sees a church Hmm interesting Then when he is to marry someone else she comes while theyre sleeping in bed with a knife in her hand Hmmmmm very inappropriate for little kids Story is convoluted and odd didnt really make sense and didnt hold my kids interest Very odd

This is long story very visually beautiful but the kids who read this story are totally disappointed with the horribly sad abrupt and confusing ending and wanted me to delete this story I shall change my rating when iReading makes this a positive ending like many of their other excellent books Great pictures Bad ending

I bought this app four my 4yr old daughter It starts out as a nice story but then has lines like you must plunge the knife into the heart of the prince with a picture of a little girl with a sharp knife in her hands standing over a sleeping prince This can be too scary and unsettling for a toddler Scary
