no switch to change to true north makes it useless for me sorry unuseful

I have an iPad 1 running iOS 51 The location of North changes depending on how Im holding my iPad For example if I point my iPad at a fixed spot laying flat North points North If I point my iPad at the same fixed location but stand my iPad on end North points East I wouldnt depend on this for navigation Nice interface but

I bought this on the basis of reviews that implied the dynamics of it in operation would make up for what appeared to be rather crude graphics Rendering is indeed fast due to its simple design however the result is not particularly impressive The pointer becomes a thin horizontal line when the compass is held vertically It can also become difficult to tell whats the front vs back of the sphere making it therefore hard to figure out if for example north is toward you or away from you This app needs to be rethought by the programmer and augmented by a graphic designer before it will be ready for prime time Not all that impressed

Very nice 3D graphics complete freedom of any view angle slick movement combined with incredibly accurate made this the best 3D Compass app and a must have for iPad Strong recommended So amazing
