High resolution bike maps for navigating cities, designated bike trails or even rail trails across the US Whether you bike for recreation or commute, these maps will help plan your next bike ride through the ...
It provides no value Go to the city of the map you want and download it as a pdf You will save money This app is a waste     Avoid this app
Great app for finding your way around via bike I cant speak to the the other cities but the Portland OR maps are perfectly formatted from the citys maps and include GPS location Invaluable when youre navigating in new territory                 Maps Maps Maps
Not sure why ppl are so critical                 Excellent just what I needed
Says it has it but doesnt Disappointing        No San Francisco
The new orleans map is way too vague to use at all I thought it would provide helpful to and from bike directions I was hoping for a better version of the google beta bike directions Maybe Im not using it right but so far Im disappointed and want my dollar back     Sort of useless
Very useful for learning your way around a new city by bike                 Use it all the time
This app has maps for everywhere I want to ride in the Bay Area                 Great for Bay Area cyclists
This is such a great tool I use it all the time So helpful to find all the maps available                 So helpful
This app just collects pdf files of locate bike maps You can do this in ibooks for free     Complete waste of money
Handy                 Bike maps
Great app for planning and doing big bike rides Only wish that you could organize maps into folders or tag them somehow Still very useful                 Great
Really doesnt worth buying     Poor design no maps
This app is ok Its nice that you can download local maps based on your current location It doesnt show your current location automatically but some maps allow you to turn it on others do not and it displays no GPS data It was the maps themselves that werent so useful The Burbank map is so low res that when I zoom in I cant read the street names The Griffith park maps is split into two maps streets and hiking trails neither of which are bike trails The Los Angeles map has no GPS data Still this is better than any of the other bike map apps Ive tried           Ok
This app is what I have been looking for It already has a very complete library of maps You can also request updates and the developers are actually quick to add them Plus there is no per map charge like some other apps                 Fantastic app
I could have downloaded my cities bike map for free     Disappointed
Not worth the 99 No easy way to use maps and the few maps available are not easy to see     Rides
There when you need it more often than not Good app and responsive handlers                 Always great in a crunch
Its a static map and useful to have Would be better if the topographic lines where easier to see           Static
App pins all trails in search area Some maps are quite large so might be best to download on wifi                 Terrific app
The functional usefulness and value for specific maps and your maps in general would really Jump if it was interactive Google maps and Google plus really add functionality to their maps but their bike data is really limited in terms of wayfaring and other info useful for cyclists Also look at what Adventure Cycling is doing overall there may opportunities to really add dynamics to your maps and make a Great product           cyclist
Great map availability customer service very responsive to additional requests Musthave app for any cyclist                 Great app
Very clear good for walks too                 Great maps
Static maps The ones I have downloaded I could have gotten them for free on the web from various park services The maps are copyrighted Is it even legal to reprint those maps and charge a fee for them     Regret buying it
Please list cities so I can save some hard earned money Im hoping you add Seattle soon     No Seattle Map
So this app links to and downloads the official maps from the parks and rec department of various cities Sounds good right The problem is that MANY of the maps are what the city PLANS to do not what is available today I live in the Dallas Ft Worth area and the Hurst map for example is all potential trails And this map has been potential for several years now Honestly if you are a serious biker I doubt this app is going to tell you anything you didnt already know Most of us know how to go to city web pages and look for their maps And turning on bike routes in google maps shows you current trails rather than trails that might exist someday In addition this app is missing many of the city maps that exist around here As a biker Im always on the lookout for bike route info so thats why I gave this a try This app MIGHT prove to save me time if it stays current with city maps        Good Effort
Junk     Legal Theft
This App doesnt work Please dont waste your money I should have follow other reviews     Refund
DL for the first time but cant find any maps because it cant connect to server Back to Alltrails i guess     Cant even connect to servers
This app is GREAT for any level and most importantly ITS USER FRIENDLY                 Beginner or advance
Way easier to use than simple PDF viewers easy to find maps Totally worth the dollar I agree that San Francisco and Marin are sorely lacking though                 Awesome
The server for this app has been down since I loaded the app It is hard to give a review to something that appears not to exist For now I have to advise saving your money and finding an app that works     Save your buck
I live in the twin cities and this app has tons of great maps for this area I Love the GPS tracker on the Hennepin county bike map                 Great for MinneapolisSt Paul
Theres a ton of map apps whose maps are based on Google Garmin Apple or TomTom source data These are generally informativeif youre in your car But on your bicycle there are other things to be concerned about such as how many cars per day use a particular road is there water available or food or rest areas Is a trail paved multiuse offlimits or on public land This type of information is usually only available on special local maps bike maps trail guides small stuff These types of maps are usually only on paper This app takes those and makes them available on the iPhone complete with GPS reference in many cases I like it                 Have map will travel
Great resource for traveling biking fans                 Awesome app
This app compiles all freely available PDFs of local paper maps in one easy place It has a directory that automatically lists available local maps for offline downloading based on your current location On some maps it also allows for pinpointing your current location on the PDF with the phones GPS Great for specialty maps like bike hiking and camping Paper maps are so much more carefully designed than Google maps Best of both worlds Awesome in Northern California The app creator does not design their own maps just compiles whats out there If your area is not well represented contribute back by finding the maps you want and sending them to the developer                 Great concept
Useless piece of App     Dont waste your money
Works for my area in Wisconsin and trips Ive taken Glad I have it Includes pedestrian maps on some maps                 Worth having
Minus one star for some panel tearing while dragging and a reboot of my ipad once when I touched the ipad onoff screen button to turn off the screen but otherwise seems to work The NYC Bike Map is the actual scanned in or original download City of New York Bike Map for 2011 in high res in a pleasing pinchzoom client The GPS option also works for this map There is also a waterfront map to download for NYC as well but does not support GPS and is much simpler This client is otherwise pretty powerful and allows downloads of maps from all over the world that is in their database so at 99 its quite a deal for a slightly glitchy client              NYC Bike map updated for 2011
All the maps are in northern Vermont upstate New York Ottawa and Montreal     Great if youre in Northeast
Lots of trails for MA one of the best resources for finding what is available Their seems to be some kind of conspiracy when it comes to getting any details on the trails It is hard to tell what is usable by a touring bike vs mountain bike Hard to tell trails that are truly rail trails with well maintained paths asphalt or hard packed sand vs 100 year old trail that has not been maintained in any way and really only passable by a mountain bike Use color coding overlays on google maps Consider a checklist section Road bike ready asphalt Cycle cross Ready packed sand or gravel Mountain bike Ready Downhill bike Ready Facilities icons Food Parking Restrooms Consider video highlights shows surfaces sights and fauna No real gps maps of the trails just pins at one end and picture of trail as provided at one point in time many years out of date           Great potential
Does not show trails by my home The ones it does show seem to be brochures from the agencies that maintain the trail     Disappointing
this is so great all kinds of great PDF bike maps for almost anywhere i can think of stored on my phone and ready to use i get tired of using google maps and other GPS methods it can get really frustrating and it decreases my ability to function without such high technology how about some good old fashioned maps again Im about to set off on a tour across the country so having these all available on my phonepad is SO helpful i cant imagine having to find and purchasedownload these maps on my own maplets has done so much work for us and im incredibly grateful thank you                 invaluable resource for travelers
The maps and accuracy is good I sent a new map to support a year ago and it was uploaded in a couple days Recently Ive sent links for several MTB and road maps that have yet to be uploaded 3 weeks now Is there no longer support for this app           Was Good
Terrible app they dont do anything you cant do yourself All they do is download maps from websites Most of the time these maps arent that great If you are looking for maps of bike trails and not commuting maps this app will be a complete waste of money for you And some of the reviews I have read from commuters seem to feel as I do I should have heeded others and not purchased this app     Crap
Use it frequently in Portland Very useful                 Great bike companion
VERY handy app for biking inaround NYC GPS feature is very useful uptodate maps for the area                 Great app
This app is great Downloaded it for the allegrppis trails and it worked flawlessly Recommend as long as th map you want is available                 Great app
Not much use for my areaafter downloading the appfound out the closest route is over 59 miles awayfrom there the next closest its 100 plus miles awayvery disappointed     Useless for my area
Love it                 Easy to use
This app is pretty darn good but it could use more regional touring over the road maps           Pretty darn good
