I cant even get away from the police stationjust keeps freezing iPad 2 running iOS 5 Sometimes force quitting helps for a time but the freeze returns     Freezes up

I was into the game but it keeps freezing I start it over and over and over but it continues to freeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzeeeeeeee Please send an update or fix problem Please Thank you

Hector is a game that could have been much better Its puzzles were perhaps a bit too easy locations sparse and voice acting comes across as forced There were also some crash and audio bugs that added some frustration to the exprience On the plus side the humor while sophomoric succeeded more often than not There are some truly funny scenes if you dont mind a little black humor But after all is said and done this game is simply way too short I do realize its being released in episodic installments but other superior Telltale games have already set the bar much higher For the exorbitant price Id really expect about twice the gameplay Your hard earned cash is really best spent elsewhere           Decent game very short somewhat buggy

I cannot use the toxic liquid on the basement beam no matter how much I try Fix it and I will change rating to 5star     Bug cant let me complete mission

Some funny lines but basically pretty lewd This is too bad because the game actually requires some thought and in some instances is actually kind of clever I am relieved there were no hidden objects literally and figuratively It ran fine on Ipad2           Not a bad game but too crass

The game is great despite it freezing here and there However possible spoilers after going in and out of Exotico the safety tape disappeared so I cant get back upstairs to Filthy Richs office Kind of a big issue           Would love to finish it but

The game was really short and not really worth the It glitches out and froze on me a lot I usually rate games pretty high because I know how long it takes to make games like this but this should have been a 99 cent game for the short game time I completed it in about a total of 1 hour and doesnt have any value to play it again its a oneway story line        Short and glitchy

The game freezes when I try to walk to the bus stop left of the police station Audio seems to stutter as well I would give it a 5 star if it wouldnt freeze so much Im on 432     Freezes

If you like actual adventure games such as Leisure Suit Larry Monkey Island and the like then you will love this This is easily one of my favorite games on the iPad Note If you dont like point and click games and all of the reading and usually random clicking that goes along with them then you wont like this                 A real point and click adventure game

The game play is not bad but unfortunately quickly boring Too much dialog and extraneous content which you must sit through before you can proceed You must essentially click on everything in sight and then plot a solution Then you have to blindly sift through equally valid mutiple choice options until you hit on the right combination This gets very boring very quickly The game stutters frequently and occasionally freezes You can not save your position in the game so if you quit midgame you have to start all over again The basic concept has potential the execution does not           Has potential

The game was fun and looked good but it was way too short and ran very poorly on the iPad 1 I assume it runs well in the 2 but it was very choppy on the 1           Good not Great

A lot of fun Goofy characters I like the raunchy leap of text as well as the simple animation The tasks dont leave you looking for hints but it was fun to interact with a thoughtfully funny plot Id buy as many as they would make              A good chuckle

This game was very fun I was about 30 seconds from the final cutscene and the game froze When I restarted the app and selected my game I was back in the cell at the very beginning of the game I had stopped and loaded several times without a problem but when it restarted me at the beginning for no reason it totally ruined the game           When it crashes you lose progress

I really enjoyed this game Its fun figuring out how to overcome each obstacle The controls are easy and the animation is smooth Cant wait until the next episode                 Loved this game

If you have nothing at all to do and like frustrating stupid humor over and over again then this game might work for you Instead of a game Hector is more a collection of bad dialog trying to be witty Very slow moving and repetitious Instead of allowing you to pick up necessary items along the way it forces you to run back and forth only to listen to what 90 percent generous estimate of the same over and over My bad I should have tried the free version first but instead Thought it might rival something like the 1980s Leisure suite Larry but not even close Do yourself a favor and try the free version Once you get the car running and drive off hope the free version gives you at least that much then you know how the rest will work Have fun I sure didnt     I hate it

Ok ya its a good game n all but these crashing and freezing issues have got to be fixed I wish I never bought it cus I was really into it and now I cant progress in the exotico part with the love doll it keeps freezing its extremely frustrating Plus its VErY expensive with that price thereshouldnt be any glitches        Ugh frustrated

I had this game on my iPad 2 for quite some time now and never got a chance to play But yesterday after just 5 minutes I fell in love with it Witty humor funny characters and interesting plot are a winwin There are some really good replicas which follow the story I also liked how you managed the hint menu it doesnt give you all the clues unless you want it to Clearly there is a freezing bugwhen you step out of the police station you have to go right then return and then go to the bus station otherwise if you click on the bus station right away itll freeze Great game maybe a little short but overall I really enjoyed it and am definitely interested in playing the sequels D                 Funny game

I have to start all over every time because the game has no save button nor does it auto save on exiting the game Soooo fustrating For a game you pay for there needs to be a fix for this I like the concept and enjoy it but without a save option i cant give good review Hope an update will fix        Doesnt save progress

Finished playing this game a few days ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it An excellent take on the classic pointandclick adventure game genre If I had to point out any faults it would be that the voice recording sounds like it was done in a bathroom at least for the protagonist Given the nature of this game however that doesnt surprise me I also very much enjoyed the builtin hint systemsomething that is sorely needed in a PC adventure game In all this game is well worth the price provided you dont mind the potty humor                 Thoroughly enjoyed

Its been so long since theres been a game with this much personality I laughed out loud so many times plus the design is intuitive and challenging without being frustrating Kudos to straandlooper and telltale for bringing Hector to us Great cliffhanger ending too Bring on episodes 2 and 3                 Hector rules

Pretty much unplayable on a iPad 2 and am getting freezes galore especially in the clock tower and the sound will disappear at times and Ill be forced to restart unfortunately thus happens during story parts mostly such as during the hostage talks and youll have to reload but youll get rolled back since it only autosaves during gameplay Worst part is The games actually really good Good art okay voice work and hilarious dialogue        Buggy mess

I was looking for challenging puzzles and creative problem solving amid some witty British bathroom humor What i got was stale insult jokes amid problems that when I was able to solve them didnt leave me feeling smart just along for the ride The finite number of options in each venue left little to chance and vital information seemed deliberately withheld so id have to look at the hints and then be insulted by the writers for looking Wayyyyy to much dialogue unless youre a 12 year old in dire need of material A few lame problems to solve and then its over Thanks Hector My intelligence has been insulted        Unwitty world cyclical gameplay

I followed protocol of rebooting and closingpurging open apps etc after downloading a new app but still ran into a lot of crashes and I muscled through them until I got to trying to swap the life size blowup doll int the porn shop It freezes no matter what and Im stuck being unable to move forward so unless an update comes unlikely then I wasted my money Too bad because was fun well written and enjoyable game just cant advance past glitches bugs and freezing FIX IT PLEEEEEASE           FreezesBugs Ruined a potentially great game

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this for my ipad Although it has its funny moments I felt it was way too short for the price It froze when I went to places where there were no clues Very disappointing        Disappointed

I really liked this game Its very unique funny well written and with an appealing art style and character designs I also felt that it was a good length for its price However like some other reviewers have mentioned there seem to be some bugs which can occur if you do things in an order other than that which the developer envisioned and you will get completely stuck an unable to finish the game In my case that happened when I tried to blow up the porn shop It wouldnt let me use the caustic liquid on the beam because I had already connected the cord to the light socket and according to the walk through I was supposed to do it the other way around Really a shame since this was my last task in the game and never given a chance to complete it I never got to see the end of the game Hope this and related bugs get fixed Till then I will be reluctant to buy the sequels              Great game with serious bugs

Yay Its good to see Hector on the iPad Dont listen to those negative reviews Theres a reason the iPhone version of this game has nearly 1000 good reviews One of the worst reviews for this game is written by someone who doesnt have a SINGLE positive review about ANYTHING hes written about This game is a lot of fun Its nice to finally see it on the larger iPad screen The game carries a raw humor to it that clearly some dont appreciate If you dont like raw raunchy humor then this ones not for you STILL waiting on episode 2 Hopefully its in the works                 FINALLY ON THE iPAD

This game has no sound when running on my IPad 1 Thus it is useless since not all the dialog is texted And obviously you can not here any sound effects     No sound

I really enjoyed this game but it was SO short and definitely not worth 7 I finished it in like 2 hours           Way too short
