A Humument App

The luminous artwork and amusing texts should make this app worthy of five stars however it needs a bookmarking feature so that when you close the app and return it does not start all over again from the beginning Because of its 367 pages it really needs a way to flag favorites I had to keep track of where I was in a separate app A zoom tool would also be nice although not necessary The collaged and painted pages look clear and bright the content is intriguing the Oracle feature is fun An update would make it perfect              Great content awkward control

A remarkably lovely eversion of Phillipss extraordinary and still evolving treated novel The oracle feature allows the reader to play along with the chance operations underlying the project and the images are if anything lovelier than in the print edition A must have for any lover of the Humument                 A hypnotic work

When I found out that A Humument was now available as an app thats what finally made me want to get an iPad As a fairly backward bibliophile Id long looked askance at this newfangled technology but now Im completely won over A Humument looks amazing on my screen the images are all incredibly vibrant and lively And the Oracle feature is very cool especially because it shows how artists can take advantage of this medium instead of being wary of it like I was before In short this work of art is awesome in every way                 Gorgeous and wonderful

It is worth reading about Tom Phillips and his decades long production of A Humument This new edition for iPad is beautiful the colors and drawings are bold and bright You can easily switch between this and the 1970 edition online to see how each page number has been used by the artist This is a visual treat and full of as much hidden meaning as you care to imagine wonderful The random page generator is a fun idea and well implemented here No technical problems as mentioned elsewhere I understand the iPhone edition came out today I am tempted by it as well This points to an amazing future for eBooks and I cannot wait                 An amazing new edition born for iPad
