So far so good Like it if for only the character file tab The only thing I would like more that would give it a five star rating is one the intro of a photo and art and two a tab for writing rules just because we dont always remember the proper use all the time Only human after all keep up the good work                 So far so good

I love this app and I shall recommend it to everyone in my Novel Writing college course It has lots of blanks for things the teacher recommend that I hadnt heard of before I love it                 Excellent

I really really love this app It helps me organize all my thoughts ideas scenes characters and is very detailed The creators put a lot of thought into this app There is nothing wrong with it but I would love to see an update where we can email scenes characters novels etc to ourselves incase the app gets deleted by someone else That way we wont lose all our stuff I love the password protection thing but my app could get deleted and I want to have everything saved easily somewhere Also what would make this app even more awesome is daily inspirational quotes about writing andor reading to motivate and stuff Great app though              Love it but

I really enjoy this app because the app makes you think of creative stories which can be hard for me some times I also like that you can make your own stories and write a plan for your story Would suggest this app for people who have trouble writing or people who even enjoy writing                 A fun creative app

This is a very useful and wonderful app My only suggestion would be to make a way to transfer the info to other devices Im sure Im not the only one who doesnt intend on having all of my novel plans and organizations only on my iPodiPad                 Love this app

Warning Warning Unfortunately if youre the type that doesnt always remember to put your clothes in the dryer or start your dishwasher before you go to bed you may not always remember to HIT THE SAVE tab Automatic save would make this an awesome app Ive lost a couple hours of work having gotten distracted and forgotten to hit save Aaarrrggghhh     Cumbersome

One bug that gets me though Sometimes when i organize characters or try to add a relation to another character they disappear from their category completely Could you fix it and maybe add some more cool stuff Otherwise this app is perfect                 Love this

This app was a life saver when I lost all my index cards I wrote my story info on its super awesome but one thing I would like is if you could attach pictures to the characters and places and stuff other than that its great              LOVE IT

This app is amazing I love it This is not a writing app like pages I found that his is more of an organization app I love how in depth it is with the characters That is the main reason why I use is Ill add in some ideas I have but the main hing is characters It really helps me know my characters and makes me a better writer I dont use the scene option because I find it a bit awkward I love this app and am going to buy the upgrade when I get a gift card                 Life Saver

I am really thinking that this app is not for meso I deleted it I honestly am like the first review I am younger I am a fourth grader when summer ends and its not inappropriate like game of war fire age That app makes me so mad and the ads for that are so inappropriate Anyway I have been trying to write books on an old laptop that my family never uses anymore so this is my grandmas iPad that all the grandkids share So this app should be for people like Mackenzie Wagner Rachel Renee and stuff like that But it totally kills me to saythat I do not get this app Or else I would be a writing machine I know this is the longest review ever but its only shows how much I love writing I recommend this app to all authors Peace out                 Its not really for me Kaybear2332

I just download the app but I dont understand the app if someone can tell me please where I have to start to write the history because I already fill out everything that I need to but still dont fine where to start my writings please someone Ill really appreciate           I need help please

More than I was expecting has nice simple and helpful categories that help with thinking of the details of your story Also everything as far as I know is completely free I have nothing to complain about and I am glad that I found this Ive been looking for something like this in the app store for months Also it doesnt force you to publish your precious chapters to the world in an online writing community in order to use their features like all the other apps I personally find this as a major plus It totally helps if you feel more serious about writing an actual novel as opposed to teenageramateur work not that Im not a teenager or anything but you knowsomething more serious than roleplays fan fictions and poems Anyway this is a great app and I definitely recommend it because you can tell that they care about the future of writers and not just making money off of people                 So Great and Helpful

This app is really helpful I am a writer but not one of those writers that actually plans stuff out Which gets to be a problem about 99 of the time This app helps me plan out stuff a whole lot better and in turn I Finnish writing stories a whole lot faster                 Great

I have used this app for millions of ideas I love that I can have an idea in the middle of the night and link it to whichever idea or novel I want It makes it easy to keep track of my scatter brainyness The only thing I would change would to be able to unlink ideas Or be able to link one idea to multiple other things I have a great idea There should be a way to export ideas into PDFtype file so we can print or email our ideas                 Awesome

Im a DM and I mostly use this to organize my campaign notes and cast of NPCs and it works wonders Also never crashes or looses my work like some other apps                 Even has other uses

I absolutely love this app but when I installed it on my phone it wouldnt sync with the upgrade to pro I had bought for my iPad So despite the fact that I paid for a better version previously my phone has ads and no option to write scenes Do I really have to pay again each time I put this app on another device Im a little inept when it comes to such things              Wont remember previous purchase

I liked this app because it was a great way to organize and write stories I could quickly organize and get my ideas down Something that I did not like is that every time I started a new story the screen would freeze and take forever to load This app was better than other language arts apps because it gave you a lot of tools and methods while writing              Good and Organized

I love how you can plan your whole story out with this app Its so great for people who love to write because everything is really organized and you can find everything right away I also like how users can categorize everything but I dont like that you have to type the category for every different thing that you add It wouldve awesome if you could flip through categories that you already created or choose to create a new one Also for the gender in the character mode you have to type the gender I would prefer that you only have to click either male or female instead of having to type it in every time It would also be helpful if there was a description and maybe examples in things that arent obvious eg internalexternal conflict internalexternal motivation premise etc that a beginning writer or anyone could look at to know what to write or give them more to think about to expand on already awesome ideas I think that would be really helpful at least for me Also I think that having to press save every time you make a change and leave the page is VERY annoying But allinall this is an AMAZING app                 Great But Could Be Better

I honestly love the app and all detailing everything like you do things about the characters that you never thought about doing before but the only thing that I really dont like is that youre not able to have a account so you cant protect all your stuff just in case you get a new phone and I dont believe that I am going to be able to save my work So I would please like to see this update              Update

This app is great overall but add a feature where you can share your novel ideas I use my laptop my device and other things to create stories so itd be great if you could email your stuff as a file to other accounts OR make this app for Windows Either is fine All in all this app is spectacular for author wannabes BIG thumbs up                 Absolutely fantastic but add one more thing

I use this often to record bits of dialogue characters and pieces of scenes it also is a great aid to organizing all these little bits and pieces into concepts for stories Essential for a writer inspired on the go Recommend to any writer who needs a digital pocket notepad                 Excellent for on the fly inspirations

I was led to think that this app was about writing It in fact is NOT about that and you just write down your ideas like you can make novels but you dont actually WRITE them you just put in the name and the theme and other stuff about them Its still a very good app and I like it though Its just not what Im looking for              Good But A Bit Misleading

I really enjoy this app and find it very helpful Ive had this on my iPod touch 4th generation for about 23 years and its very help when I come up with new ideas for stories Im working on However I just bought a MacBook and was hoping that I could get a version of this app for it but there doesnt seem to be one Im kinda disappointed because for me having this on my MacBook would be even more useful then on my iPod                 Really like and enjoy

Its a good app Its very straightforward and organized Im just a kid and tend to forget something about a character or setting easily With this app its all right there My only complaint is the scenes part Im dont write plays and theres no place for me to just type chapters or something I would like if they upgraded it so there was a place for you yo just type Hope this helps              Great

Holy cow I can now stop writing all my character backstories and scene ideas down in multiple unorganized notebooks and files in Google Docs This app is perfect for keeping the nitty gritty details organized all in one place and does a fantastic job to help inspire details you may not have thought to think of The detail you can go into for each character and scene is outstanding It only takes a few attempts to learn how to navigate all the sub menus within categories and how to deletefix misplacements correctly The scenes section I feel is pretty selfexplanatory if youve studied novel writing techniques This app isnt made for actually writing the novel its made for keeping track of all the lush details that help flesh out characters environments and situations In the scenes category thats exactly what youre presented with a way to organize the outline of your story the way professional authors tend to within different acts for each major plot point The basic three act formula for a novel is simply Act I Beginning the introduction to the world and its characters enter Plot Point 1 Act II Middle the build up to The Climax through major conflicts The Climaxs resolution becomes Plot Point 2 Act III End The Climax is resolved and loose ends are quickly wrapped up I downloaded this app to see if it would help me with my story idea for this years NaNoWriMo and within a half hour it has surpassed my expectations I immediately purchased the extremely reasonably priced upgrade to pro for the added feature of being able to send my data to email There are PC programs that do what this app can but they charge 50 or more Sure they have additional visual features and dragndrop functionality but this app succinctly fulfills a writers needs to subtly guide the creation of authentic environments characters and plot Everything else would just be filler and fluff Plus theres the added benefit of being mobile and not having to be tethered to one place any time you want to sit down and write ideas 55 Would brainstorm fleshy characters again                 Perfect Storywriting Companion

This app is very simple and easy to use which is great but a couple of small tweaks would make it perfect enough to be worth the upgrade 1 SORT BY NOVEL I cant believe this isnt a feature Its implemented in such a counter intuitive way As it stands right now you create a novelcharactersscenesetc separate from each other So you click on scenes and you have scenes from all your novels all jumbled together Novel as a category should function as a folder Why do I need to see every character from every story Ive ever written at once Its quite confusing and backward 2 The ability to make your own quick drop down selections or for the app to remember frequently used ones or something Other than that its really great and simple but NOT worth the upgrade until they fix 1 If youre working on more than one story at a time that issue makes the app nearly unusable           Simple which is greatNeeds a few tweaks

Trying to add relations between 2 new characters I added 1 The new character dont show up when adding relation 2 When scrolling down every single time the app closes Please update        Force Closes

I always wanted a good app to hold my character ideas for on the go I love it and use it to keep my character ideas Its extremely helpful for me The app could use some more additions to its character options such as sexuality any abnormal powers etc But an amazing app either way I hope to see more updates D                 Great App

This is a glorified note taking app Its a less powerful version of OneNote without cloud integration     Just Get OneNoteEvernote

I lost everything when my IPad died suddenly Nothing was backing up There was no way to export anything Ill stick to other software for future writing projects        No backup

This is a great little app if you are looking for something to store ideas in I have countless amounts of ideas stored in this app Sure it can drive me crazy over the littlest things but that can be fixed by simply writing it again Overall I recommend this app if you are looking to store your ideas not to mention this is also good for writing essays in school for students Only costs 3mb to download Highly recommended                 Great Little Tool For Storing Ideas

This app is almost perfect I have it 5 stars because I couldnt give it 45 stars The reason is because while its brilliant being able to break your story down into little parts and work out the details with locations characters scenes etcthe Novel tab could use some TLC The reason I say this is because the Novel screen basically just gives you a title to attach scenes tobut what it really needs in addition is be able to view your entire novel pieced together That would make this perfect                 Love this app

It could be better This app has good clear organization techniques but has has now room to actually write Ill expand Its not like a word document where you can write and edit inside the page Theres no place to extensively write for a serious writer However for an onthego note jotter it works        Not bad
