This is not like Google Skies in which you point your device on the sky and it tells you whats currently there in fact this is more of information app about the sky Good for learning more about the heaven but know what you are getting           Is not an augmented reality app

Although this app might look promising its lack of tutorial leaves you wondering how to properly function this app without becoming frustrated by the lack of interface graphics and even a simple help button        Has potential

There are hundreds of star gazing apps out there and which one is the best for you Some cost 99 others are 299 In some ways the extra few bucks might be worth it StarNight is a simple application that uses your gps to pinpoint your location on Earth and show you the surrounding stars This does not work like other apps where you point the phone in the direction and you see the planets This just shows the stars gives you a compass and you pretty much have to figure it out for yourself With so many stars out there this can be confusing and not very efficient for an educational game Furthermore it doesnt do a good job showing constellations history 3D images of planets names or anything Most of the time when I select a star it says no name This really doesnt stand up against other apps and I wouldnt recommend it        Lacking in content

Just when you start using this software its too professional I may not be able to adapt to it After been familiar with it i found that there is an option to line the stars and they are very very beautiful Besidesi can choose to display each stars nameFurther morei can locate the star i wanna to know and read more information about that starNice app              very very beautiful

This app has two languages which are English and Dutch I think it need more languages due to students where live in other countries should get it In addition A Star Night has good abilities like exploring sky with augmented reality and night mode              Useful app

The first thing i realized about this app was its price At only 99cents it is among the cheapest star gazing app out there If you only have a buck to spare and dont want to shell out 6 or 7 dollars this app is great for that It could though use some features that those other apps have one that I would like to see is the ability to track the sky with your phone and not just display a map 4stars5stars              great alternative to the other star app

I couldnt figure out how to get it to follow where you point your phone It simply gave me a map of the sky which I could explore at my leisure The app has very specific star names but as far as I could tell did not obviously name constellations Might be good for someone who is well versed it astronomy already but wasnt really helpful for me           Doesnt follow your phone
