App does what it says it would do The best of the Mandarin apps I have checked out so far Nicely laid out each vocabulary word has pinyin standard and traditional characters and translation in English Nicely laid out Works fine so far on my iPad The only thing it could add would be testing of some kind and perhaps flash cards However it does not claim to have these things I would recommend this app to anyone wanting to learn basic mandarin I look forward to downloading more of their lessens in the future Pretty good
