Positives The sound quality of recorded audio is very good Also I love that the program points out the most prominent harmonic Thats excellent The quality of the analysis is very good I love that we can email the audio file to ourselves Problems On an iPhone 4 when I pause playback and then resume the audio stutters considerably Also there is no way to turn of the dials in the center of the screen This makes it hard to pay attention to the power spectrum If there is an option to do this then it isnt apparent It would be great to have this work in real time without having to record Also when a recorded file is done playing we have to return to the file list to play it again Thanks Pretty good but a few problems

As a former US Navy nuclear submarine sonar technician I have 25 years of experience with excellent spectrum analyzers I didnt expect much for 299 and I didnt get much I have an iPhone 4S Playback does not work in the app Level is displayed in vice Sound Pressure Level SPL Percent of what Frequency displays during recording but curiously indicated my voice at less than 400 Hz I was able to email the file and get playback but unless i amplify and replay on studio reference equipment the sample can never be analyzed again with this app I just wanted a tool to tune my home entertainment and car stereo systems This app should be free with system limitations noted Ugh

Please update this app to support iPhone 4 OS Great
I made very good use of this application to troubleshoot some noise from a mechanical system However on mulitple occasions I have returned to or reopened the application and found that all previouslyrecorded files were erased This occured on an iPhone 4 I did not realize until today that the application had the capability to email the recorded files In the future I will email the files to keep from losing the recordings It would be great if the emailed files could include a video of the spectrum Very nice but recorded files disappear after a day or two
On iPhone 4 iOS 5 cannot replay the recorded files App quits Wouldnt recommend the purchase Recordings wont play back
