App is so helpful                     Thanks for fixing the bug Rockkyy
12 7 17 Newest update works I don t see anything better than what it was before the new interface but at least it s back to a very useful app 11 14 17 Latest fix to the update is still awful Yes emailed abstracts are back to a useful format but very often no abstracts even load Blank page for ASAP s Zero stars until this gets fixed What was the point of this update Problems with this update are non trivial images associated with abstracts load slowly or not at all and when an abstract is shared by email the awkward long URL to the mobile acs site is the title and text of the message rather than the much friendlier format of the email from the previous version If this isn t fixed the chemistry community has lost a valuable tool for quickly viewing abstracts on a mobile device I used the old version nearly every day and sent myself useful articles 2 3 times per week I won t be doing that with the current version of this app Would rate it zero stars if possible                 Update WAS horrible works now chemprof23
I cannot accept a great and big scientific community like ACS can t make a reliable app     terrible iEhsan
This was a good app I used it almost everyday It was updated a few months ago and is now unusable It is slow and the text is too small and the pictures load too fuzzy to make any sense I hope they just go back to the old version     Update ruined it Keeber161
Why it clear all my ASAPs after updates It s getting worse and worse Not about content but the app itself     One star for a big bug UID708492
used to love it doesn t work now asaps no longer load     please fix it Tim 10017
Really bad than the old version cannot loading the image and abstract     Bad experience Lost-leaf
This used to be the best app and the best way to stay up to date with new Chemistry After the latest update nothing loads properly the abstracts don t look as nice and I can t zoom in on full articles This is terrible I want the old app back Please fix all these bugs     Horrible update Ruined a great app upset chemist
It seems the bare minimum was done to update the app for 64 bit compatibility The interface is significantly less professional and the ability to use personal credentials rather than institutional ones to download papers is MIA     A rushed update Siegfried393
Overall it looks like someone did the bear minimum to update to the new UI doesn t look all that clean or professional ASAPs weren t saved but since they gave that notice ahead of time it s understandable Biggest complaint is that you can t zoom in when reading the PDF how else am I supposed to read the article on my phone             New update needs some tweaks upsetchemist
Great app Very efficient to keep up with articles One complaint is that during update you changed the format when sharing It used to have a link and the title Really want that back when I share by email so I can search the emails later                 Quick fix GKATM
After the update all saved ASAPs are gone and I suspect are irrecoverable New version has no option of sharing saved ASAPs in bulk only one by one Why did you do this to us     Terrible update Bardmital
Will stop working with next iOS update     Needs to be updated to 64 bit Sussist
Really a nice and useful app For anyone having issues with the keyboard for searching try double tapping the search form That made a keyboard show up for me                     Keyboard Issue Solved DoctorPockets
Someone already mentioned this 3 years ago have you guys given up on the app The Search option doesn t open up the keyboard     Keyboard problem still not fixed hkgamer
I love this app because it keeps me updated on the new researches that are being done anytime                     Info on the go loveabledollsimi
I love this app it s great and extremely helpful staying up to date on recent publications The only reason I didn t give it 5 stars is because the most recent version has no keyboard when you go to search I believe this is just a quirk with this version but it still is a very poor feature of the app now                 Great app vikedude83
See title         No keyboard How do I search then ..._ .._.
When are you going to upgrade the app to take advantage of the big screen on iPhone 5         Update for iPhone 5 C Lou
This is a pretty cool little app it s nice to have all these articles at your finger tips Very easy to use Very clean cut app The only complaint that I have is that it is not working with the iPhone 5 large screen But besides that it s a solid app I highly recommend it anyone that is a hard core chemistry nerd                 Decent app would recommend DaNut
Offline             Good when connected online The bad is the app does not store or display abstract when my iPod is Chemdumb
Nice app Keeps me updated with new literature But the app needs more work You can t save PDF s Also it needs to be optimized for the new iPhone 5 screen             Needs more work Luis Angel UPR
When I was trying to send a paper link to my twitter it says unknown error and the cancel button does not work Then I tried to share by google reader nothing sent out Also there is no way to export downloaded PDFs         None of the share options work Mad grape seed
Can t do anything in ipad ios 5 1 1 But works fine in ipod     It crashes Reixam
I really love this App even more then receiving the emails I can browse through titles just as soon as they come out and I don t need to be in front of my computer to do it I can review them anywhere at anytime My only complaint reason for 4 stars is that the icon buttons ACS Apps C EN My ASAPs etc get in the way The buttons allow less room to read the article title abstract sometimes I click on the buttons by mistake b c they are in the way As a result of this sometimes part of the title is cut off and cannot be read unless you click to open the abstract the title gets cut off whether the iPod device is held vertically or horizontally I would suggest that the icons be apart of a drop down screen like a projector screen that can be pulled down when needed Aside from this I love this app and use it more than any other app I have at the moment                 Awesome but bulky for small screen *ChemLove*
Great app I ve been using it since downloaded never crashed just one thing could not save full test as PDF                 Great Ifcccdffv
This app has very nice features The layout is clean Browsing reading options work well It would be nice to have the options of viewing the ASAPs from each journal separately as it stands now you end up viewing a composite ASAP of all the journals you choose to follow The app s biggest short coming is you can not directly download papers to your iPad There is a way around the problem you can email a link to yourself If I could save papers to Dropbox Mendeley iBooks or iOS Kindle through this app it would have received 5 stars             Stops Short of Greatness Sydney Carton
Great for watching the abstracts come in on subjects you are interested in but it does not work seamlessly with full text it just sends you to the website                 Good for abstracts Trunkmonkee
Looks nice but can t tell yet Crashes as soon as I tap initial screen         I give up Wil1971
It is good to have this app as a phd student however it keeps crashing on my iphone4s can not download pdf can not read news please fix or give my back             Keep crashing on iOS 5 please fix it Numenhy01
As an ACS member and Ph D student in chemistry I felt like I just HAD to get this app for my iPhone and iPad someday The design is awesome and the readability is very good However there are a couple things I wish it had 1 Ability to download PDF files As the description says you can cache files for 48 hours for offline reading But why not the ability to download I use Goodreader to annotate articles and Dropbox to organize my library of articles If you can download and save the PDFs on a computer you should be able to through this app as well 2 Ability to search within PDF documents This would be a very useful feature and most likely solved with being able to download the PDFs Until these two features are added I ll only be able to give this app 3 stars as it is currently not much more than a standard RSS feed Otherwise this app is very well designed and the inclusion of C EN News is a good touch             Great app with a few shortcomings Nucleophile
If you subscribe to any of the RSS feeds provided you a fundamentally getting the same information I like the iPad layout It is smooth and easy to navigate It is nice to have the mobile version I especially like the availably to share directly to Twitter or Facebook Well worth the money                 Basically an RSS feed TheSafetyDude
I have had this app for mode than a month now It worked only for the first couple of days Now a message appears that says this service is temporarily unavailable     This service is not available Jahan Dawlaty
This App is a wonderful way to browse cotents of your favorite journal or articles ASAP It is a much quicker way to browse contents than RSS feeds or even a web browser on a small mobile device screen It includes the title key image just like browsing on a web browser If you click on a title or image the abstract open up You can then email the article citation or open pdf of the full article if you have subscription rights I would like to see a way to tag articles you have already browsed through in articles ASAP or table of contents and I hope this will come in a future update I have seen no other chemistry publisher with anything like it ACS leads the way again                 Wonderful elderdl
I just downloaded this app and immediately found few shortcomings There is no way to save the articles you find PDF files to the iBooks or PDF reader in the iphone Also there is no way to send those searched articles to someone else It s good to find articles from this app and send them immediately to your advisor when you work in a research group If this app can be modified to that purpose I ll give it 5 stars but right now it s 4                 Good but needs to improve Mike_the_tiger
I thought after the April update this app would take advantage of Ipad s large screen But it is not Please make it full screen on the Ipad     Chemist LGKetal
As a military officer I want to remain current on all news including the latest in science This app has become essential to my daily commute It allows me to scan through the latest news and articles with a very clean user friendly interface I wish that more app developers took this clean approach to app design its an absolutely superb product ACS has hit a home run again One complaint though I m not sure why ACS is charging for this app I see it as a tool for ACS to deliver paid content That content is worth far more than this 2 99 app It allows me to see an article that I may end up buying later for 30 that I wouldn t even see if I were not using this app I m guessing that there are potential users who won t pay for the app just on principal since they already pay to access ACS content                     Outstanding App Ronald_R
This App is well done As advertised it brings the latest research reports ASAP articles from the ACS journals to the palm of your hand as abstracts with the option of retrieving the full text as well if you have a subscription or by purchasing an individual document It is not a means to read the reports that have already been published The ACS did a good job of making this easy to use and behaving as expected graphics are provided in an appropriate resolution for viewing on the iPhone the normal ways of expanding and rotating the article work as expected and at least so far the article intros and abstracts load quickly                     Great The Latest Research Reports ECatPlay
See title        No keyboard How do I search then

This is a great interface for following ACS journals The ability to pull up full text articles is also very useful However the inability to push those articles out to other apps or even email is a huge detriment Having to email your saved ASAPs to yourself from this app open them in a web browser then save to your paper management software is actually more work Additionally a swipe to delete function for your ASAPs would simplify the workflow as well        Almost there
I love this app because it keeps me updated on the new researches that are being done anytime                 Info on the go
