The AcuraLink Streams is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is available in multiple languages: English, French. It weighs in at only 15.2 MB to download. The new AcuraLink Streams app version 1.1 has been updated on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. All of my original findings below remain true as of this latest release and I ve also found that the app is storing large log files to the phone everytime it is run consuming GBs of space unnecesarrily Developer was diagnostic logging accidentally left on for the production build This is hiighly frustrating Original review 4 15 I love the potential of having the Pandora and Aha services integrated into my Acura radio s interface and streamed via my iPhone However the reality is that it often does not work smoothly if at all First I have to unlock the phone and provide permission for the app to stream every single time I start the car or else the connection will fail If not done quickly then the car and phone app can get out of sync again causing a connection failure Sometimes a good connection is made only to suddenly fail a few minutes later This also happens when trying to use the phone for any other function which removes the Acuralink app from being frontmost Lastly the Aha integration fails to update the playing track info It stays stuck showing the first track played here s hoping Acura is listening and a bug fix update is in the works     UPDATE Still buggy and now fills phone with log files djsteve

As others have noted the app frequently crashes changes audio source without being asked and is just generally buggy This really needs a rewrite from scratch by someone who knows what they re doing Also the screen format isn t even compatible with iPhone 6 or 7 there are black bars at the top and bottom of the screen     Poor user experience SK927

This app is a good idea very poorly implemented It is the way the Acura connects to services such as Aha and Pandora which will not work without it Almost always I have to restart the app on the fly whenever I want to use one of these services It does not auto start it hangs it misbehaves generally This wouldn t be so bad if it were JUST an app but it s the Acura s primary link to the Internet and a fair sized swathe of the built in features of the entertainment system are worthless without it If I want to find out the weather I can t just pick it up via XM as i did in my old Acura I have to listen to the Aha weather channel using this app which means a fairly serious commitment in time spent fiddling to get this thing to work Frankly this thing just isn t up to Acura s standards and I m surprised they haven t fired their coding contractors and hired a real coding firm to rewrite this thing from scratch     Poorly implemented Mr. Protocol

This is not only a worthless app I cannot listen to pandora at all it constantly disconnects from any music source I have on and automatically reverts to this stupid aha radio programming I have a 2015 Acura and a iphone7 and can t listen to my own music choices     Wish I could give zero stars mlojd

I love Slacker radio but the fact that the acura streams app doesn t open automatically when I select Aha from the menu on my RDX stereo makes it not worth it Also Pandora doesn t work right It will play for a few seconds and then I get an error message on my RDX stereo screen that it cannot connect to the device If I open my phone and open Pandora manually it switches over to accessory mode and then starts working iOS has had many updates over the last few months I cannot say the same for this app Oh and when using Aha it kills my battery at a ridiculous rate Please update or scrap In it s current state this app is awful Also if you re going to add Slacker radio to the Aha menu why not add iHeartRadio as well iPhone 6s Plus iOS 10 1 1     Battery drain Doesn t open automatically justicem1

I have a brand new Acura TLX 2015 and installed this app I truly thought it would be advantageous to use the advanced tech features in my car I can t believe Acura put this app on the market I can t believe Apple approved it I can t believe Acura has not updated this disastrous mess Do not install it It will drain your phone battery within a few hours Acura only uses 2 0 Bluetooth which came out years ago It s antiquated giving poor sound quality and major connection problems I an so disappointed with my new Acura tech package because it has so many flaws Eventually Acura will be getting major recalls I already reported many myself to the federal government By the way the latest Bluetooth is 4 1 which is stable Acura Client Relations told me it would be fixed on the next model I spent 40 000 for a non functional tech package     Embarrassing Donnygee
