I got a bunch of apps from this company and they are all somewhat similar in being pretty useless and not robust in their design just a shop pumping out some quick apps to make a few quick bucks from suckers like me So since I ve installed this I ve noticed a lot of Safari crashes I don t know why it s crashing as a normal user but it sure seems to be because of this extension I ll be removing it shortly so I guess I ll be sure pretty soon That s really not what drove me to utterly give up on this app though and come post a negative review just icing on the cake Here s the thing the applicaiton includes tens of thousands of filtering rules And a UI that you can use to browse enable and disable them individually In the list of rules that appears up to 28 271 per category currently you get to scroll through a HUGE list on the right which has significantly more vertical whitespace than the text that appears No matter how wide you make the window it will always use two rows of text for every item never expanding out into a second column to make more visible Then the unfortunate fact is that every rule has a description which is most often useless and just repeats the name of the filter with some more useless noisewords inserted the same for every single one for every rule named Block there is a description of Stop loading any page with the pattern in the URL Thanks for nothing So I go to LinkedIn look at an article my boss wrote and have a desire to like or share it The buttons to do so are gone because the rules that come with this app decide to block LinkedIn elements even on LinkedIn com Okay so I go to search for the rule to edit or disable it Firstly nothing can be edited in any way whatsoever There are duplicate rules like the Hide a title Follow us on LinkedIn and many rules which are clearly leftover from older days of the internet when certain sites worked differently than they do today probably purchased from a third party After a long time trying to guess which rules might be the wrong ones to disable because there s no way to see which took effect on the page unlike other similar apps I finally decided to just disable all rules that matched LinkedIn in a search Global search is pretty much the ONLY means of finding anything in this application which is pretty limiting Then I go to select them all to disable them all at once and find out I can t So then I have to scroll way up and down a huge list filled with vast amounts of useless descriptions underneath the names on my widescreen monitor with all the space on the right of the window going to waste only a few rules fitting on the screen at a time checking a tiny checkbox for each one Yeah that was real fun So fun I stopped a quarter way through and decided to come here and write this and delete the extension altogether My advice This company makes a couple decent though simple apps and a lot of lousy ones This falls into the latter category though I honestly wouldn t recommend any of the apps by this company to others It s clearly a minimal implementation rushed out the door way before it was ready I ll give it 2 stars though as it does function as it s supposed to aside from the crashes and the problems here are definitely fixable if the developer chooses to         Pretty bad user interface say hello to Safari crashes caseyandgina
