I have ABP active for Safari but I still get ads left and right With no plug in available on Safari it is not possible to check if it is working for some sites and not others ABP is great for Windows and Android but not at all for iOS Does not work for iOS maximumGluteus

Just like the desktop version this really does a good job the block ads Also has the setting to turn off Acceptable Ads which I recommend you do Works as expected

Adblock plus is my favorite extension in chrome But in iOS Safari I saw some ads still download even I disallow non intrusive ads I waited 10 sec as you advertise Anyway it is just the beginning and I hope improvement would come near future Need improvement

Nice to have my trusty ad blocker on an iPad I hope this will plug in to Chrome for iOS very soon though Eventually well need support for Firefox too Thank you Needs to support Chrome too

Its nice to see Adblock Plus finally make an actual adblocker The problem is that while it blocks ads and even gives you the option to disable allow unintrusive ads it does not allow you to block adtrackers For as big a name as Adblock Plus is this is not something that should be overlooked Especially considering there are free options that block both ads and adtrackers Ill upgrade the rating to a 3 star rating once they block adtrackers too not just ads I wont give it 5 because they strike deals with other ad blockers to allow ads certain ads through Like the Crystal app Doesnt Block AdTrackers

They boast that they are the 1 ad blocker for Safari Adblock Plus is by FAR the worst adblock plugin that you can get for any Desktop browser such as Safari It doesnt block ads You still download them and then it hides them by padding the page with a ton of extra CSS You still get tracked you still download the same amount of data and then your browser uses more memory because it has to render a much larger web page This can really wreck havoc on some webmail services Now their iOS implementation might work differently Perhaps it works like other content blockers do I would not boast about being a market leader or 1 ad blocker when their product is absolute garbage on those other platforms Seriously

I downloaded it for my iPhone 5s and it works fine but it should compatible with all iOS 9 supported device including iPad 3 I dont understand why it left iPad 3 or other iOS9 supported device Thats why i gave 3 star Not compatible with iPad 3 with ios9

dismal start needs ability to addremove lists I have my own list that I cant add need options for custom rules needs easy way to whitelist in short this needs to have the same options offered in Firefox and safari for desktop why push out a halfbaked app BTW adblock on desktop does not block trackers so why would this expect this to on desktop a separate plugin is needed to block tracking like ghostery or noscript anyways for me to use this more options are needed no loss to either of us Adblock Plus

The app does what it does It doesnt however gives you an option to whitelist a website the only setting you can change is to block nonintrusive ads or not Not enough settings

Unlike the desktop or browser version You cannot add any language specific Adblock rule list which is very disappointed for me Since I go to both English and Chinese sites and without language specific rule set many websites I browse will still display Ads From all the Adblock addon from App Store only Purify block most websites I visit out of the box and Crystal also block those websites that I reported The current version of the ABP has very minimal function Beside the issues I had mentioned above It also have neither whitelisting nor custom blacklisting seen on many other similar solution on the App Store It also cannot report problematic sites Unless they add those features in the future I will definitely recommend you to use other similar app such as Purify No language specific EasyList setting

This app allows acceptable ads These ads still track your web browsing They are holding advertisers hostage and the only winner is the company that owns Adblock Plus who takes in hundreds of millions of dollars For a better alternative try Safari Blocker or Purify Warning acceptable ads still track you are a scam

It just gives you 90 perfection when you compare it with the desktop version Even with adblock plus with all options disabled I can see some ads popping up I hope the future versions will be have proper fox for it Near perfect
