A modern approach to drawing and drafting, Line lets you draw straight lines, geometric shapes, perspective views, and more. Adobe Line reimagines traditional drawing tools like rulers, T-squares and shape templates for the mobile world. CREATIVE HARDWARE ...
the guide system works well and is flawless the maker and pen tool is also great what Line lacks is pen marker size No airbrush ellipse template and LAYERS how can you offer a drawing app without layers in 2015        lacking
Best app ever                 Best app
This app is fun to use I especially like the perspective grids and shapes I do wish there were layers though as is would make sketching faster for me                 Great drawing app
It really is a great tool the grids are great this app is far from complete without the ability to create layers and theres no bezier pen tool Huge bummer        Missing pieces
Ive used this app for awhile now getting used to its capabilities limitations as far as what I expect from illustration apps especially after exploring whats out there Im happy to say that Adobe Line fails to disappoint in being an iPad app thats easy enough to learn while being complex enough to be a contender to the desklaptop powerhouses Do check out Adobe Sketch as well even utilize it to import improv e Line drawings              Sweet drawing app
Its definitely not as powerful as the programs in their desktop suite but its excellent for sketching out the basic framework of ideas on the go or creating simple designs with the basic shapes offered The controls are incredibly intuitive compared to some other drawing apps Ive used Works well with the stylus I have too                 Amazing app
Great little app for work starting work on illustrating projects Very easy to jump into the full illustrator and clean it up              Great starter point
Deleted app as it is ridiculous to require creating and account with Adobe to use their app     Why is an account required
The app is great Need color sampler to match colors              Adobe illustrator line
I was all excited to get started I was sadly let down by this hardly intuitive app Whos idea was it to use two fingers to erase The same two fingers to zoom in Dumb In addition while in perspective mode good luck drawing odd roof pitches You should be able to set those little green dots Waypoints would be nice The short is this app need so much work its barely worth the time yet alone any money How can it be so far off from sayprocreate Maybe they should have a meeting and play with procreate to see what potential an app can have     Such a basic program should be free
Well everything was going greatI loved the grid options and the precise line drawing capabilities of this app BUT after finishing a simple line drawing using straight lines with the ruler I began shading with the brush tool Luckily I saved the file by posting it to Behance before I started coloring it in because when I left my iPad to do yoga I come back open the app and ALL of my perfectly straight lines were blurred and completely off from the original I tried to remain calm and reload the app hoping it was just a loading error Sadly the image NEVER loaded back to high quality I dont know if this has happened to anyone else but it was extremely upsetting I love Adobe products and the apps have potential This one is much better than the Adobe Draw app mainly because the canvas size is the actual size of the artwork you post to Behance           File corruption
For brainstorming and concept drawing this app is becoming my favorite The many stamp objects and ruler works really well If you just care about creative drawing Id stick to just procreate but for mediaappweb creation this has everything I need for design planning My only dislike is the Adobe signin I have a full creative cloud account so Im not against that I AM against the app constantly forgetting my login credentials or forcing me to login when I find myself with no connection and not giving me access to the app This is an instance where Id rather pay for the app than get it via subscription              Excellent except for forgetful login
The best part about this app are the drawing assistant tools At first as with most iPad drawing apps the screen is so slippery and you cant see the line your drawing and everything is a mess The ruler and other tools are big help especially the vanishing point support I would like to see the vanishing support go beyond the straight edge though For the basic shapes you should be able to put them in perspective too There should be three modes for each shape like there are two for the straight edge Facing away from the left vanishing point facing away from the right vanishing point and facing up As you move the shape around it should scale and distort appropriately                 This is a really fun drawing tool
Under Ai bottom share is not working     Unable to share
I really wish the blending worked better and there were more tool options Art Rage really has it going on with tools and blending and even accuracy with the pen The Ink pen is really too expensive for what it does in this app I am an artist but also looking at this to be able to use in art therapy Its not very user friendly and just seems like it falls short of what it could have been especially coming from the creators of photoshop and illustrator You would think you could import these files directly into their programs tooDisappointed     Falls short
Great app for starters could be ten times better if you can add layers        Cool
Adobe pleeeeeeeeeeeease update this software to use with the iPad air 2 I want to use my new tools     Unable to use with ipad Air 2
Worth your space I agree with the other reviewer that right handed mechanisms on this app may not be ideal for left handed people but this app has a lot of perks Built in rulers and shape stencils make it easy to draw You can use colors provided or sync from kuler Being a long time Adobe Ideas fan this really surprised me with its easy tools and VERY CLEAN LOOK Its easy to use Get it and if you dont like it delete it But I think artists and architects will definitely enjoy this                 Worth it
Adobe line is my favorite app for Adobe Ink Slide The interface is just as seamless and gorgeous as usual for Adobe But theres still one improvement Adobes got to do introducing a better file format and the option to export for instance an image as ai for Illustrator on Mac or PC In my opinion the biggest problem is that you can hardly use images created in Adobe line on the iPad as when opening that image later on in Illustrator there arent any layers But its loads of fun creating drawings on the iPad anyway I can highly recommend that app                 One of the best apps for Adobe Ink Slide
This app is really sorry None of the Adobe Apps come close to Procreate SketchClub or Art Studio Somebody asked why do you have to have an account Because there is big money in getting and selling whatever personal information they can get If they can get in your Facebook theres a lot of data there Thats why I mean if they arent planning to make money off these accounts then why would they pay money for the servers and everything else they need to have deal with these accounts Another reason besides data is that they hope one day they can get you signed up on a subscription basis I added an extra email address to deal with outfits like Adobe     Worthless
5 stars all the way Get it because it is free                 Bossiness
I draw a ton of floor plans and room plans and this app is great for when I need to do some quick mock ups or just want to draw around I love the interface and how it has essentially digitalized rulerst squares etc excellent UI                 Love this app
So now I really get it and I just didnt get it before Now I see the power This app is awesome You shouldnt go into it thinking of like fine art style of work go into this app for when you are doing illustrative design work Amazing for hand lettering logo design and concepts things of shape Its like the old school graphic designers tool box when you open the app and that totally changes things I cant wait to try it with ink and slide I do think the app needs and update to address panning targeting the app to think its undo I also think a two finger rotate option would add so much more ability to the app                 Now I get it
The app is not as intuitive as expected from Adobe how do you duplicate a shape And I dont mean redrawing scaling down a shape is difficult once your fingertips meet You cant go further is there a bucket tool to fill shapes with color I couldnt find it anywhere can you change the color of a shape without redrawing one with another color on top how do you move or rotate a shape after drawing it I just used it for 10 minutes and I came up with all those issues           Feedback intuitive
Line is a good app Easy drawing simple but complex menu Nice color picker good swatches panel It just needs some additions like eye dropper                 Great idea well execution but missing features
If we take into consideration the fact that this application as well as the rest of the new Adobe apps are free they are awesome Is there room for improvement Yes then again that is usually the case with most software However when you combine the ease of use and the potential of each module in this series of apps created by Adobe you have to at least give them credit for thinking outside of the box I am certain that with the proper feedback and suggestions Adobe will make this application as well as the rest of the ones in this series exactly what every graphic artist has ever wanted for their arsenal of digital tools 4 out of 5 stars and I encourage our friends at Adobe to press forward with their Creative Suite apps and services You are on the right track to greater success TYVM for this awesome series of apps              Consider this
Im still checking out the app What Ive seen so far is actually really great however the 2 fairly glaring issues to me at least are 1 Needs Wacom Creative Stylus support and 2 I would like to be able to at the very least export my drawing to my iPads photos section or something so I can import my drawings to other apps ad potentially finish the picture there Otherwise its great so far              Stil checking it out
What a great app I was loving it then it stopped working now it just crashes on startup Please sort this out so I can get back to drawing        Loved it while it worked
Loving all your updates                 Keep up the apps
Im really pleased with this app                 A nice refreshing approach to drawing straight lines
Do not download Yes this is a good app if you have access to the share program if you are a student Or if you already have a business It will shut down on you right in the middle of your work that you have just spent hours on Do yourself a favor if you cant afford 1999 a month dont download If the app said this with free description maybe theyd get better reviews Very deceiving     Not free
I thoroughly sketching in my spare time The tools help me realize my vision I wish it had layers similar to Adobe Draw Otherwise no complaints                 Great for amateurs
This is a wonderful app for drawing very easy to learn and use You can draw almost anything you like Lines circles squares triangles resize It has a ruler that you can move anywhere you need and rotate to any angle you can draw with your finger or with a stylus like Adonit Script etc You can change line width and color And has perspective grid and other grids It has French rulers and a library with shapes Definite this is a must have app for drawing Is free all you need is to set up an account I recommend it                 Excellent app
Please fix this application I cannot log into it at all Severe bugs at login panel Please update sometime soon     Cant Log In
Im liking aspects of all the Adobe apps I just wish theyd combine a few For instance Id love Adobe Line to have layers like Draw does or to have the perspective tools in Draw that are in Line Id happily pay for a more comprehensive app that combined all of them           Combine them
Decent app Could be an excellent app Give the ability to move the multi function button to the right side for us left handed people Also the ability to access different picture files other then camera role and add layers and this would be the best drawing app out there Combine adobe sketch functions to this and make us all happy Thanks           Could be great
This app works flawlessly with my desktop creative cloud apps I was at a pub the other day sketching out ideas for a business card branding project while drinking a pint and loved how easy the ideas were flowing then they were at home for me to fine tune the next day                 Hell Yes
Every time I open this app I at least want to work on learning perspective skills and being able to apply this to my other app that Im learning Sketchbook ProIm a beginner but have a good command of perspective using paper but I have no idea how to use this app efficiently much less create something like the sample files they provide There are no support tutorials for the app except some how tos for Ink and SlideAdobe is a great company but they have so many products right now it seems that they cant support these off shoot apps and do nothing to support them or make them better So if your a beginner like me get the app but good luck getting creative with it until you figure it out           No creative support
A great app that I use for many projects However it would be nice to have an eraser and layers Otherwise its genius                 Amazing App
Concepts does everything this app does and more It has a better UI and allows exporting jpg png svg dxf and psd file formats after a reasonably priced inapp purchase Try again Adobe     Deleted it
This app is getting better and better I do hope that it stays simple in nature Interface is great and the sync between wacom pen and screen is nice and smooth Feels like drawing Good work              Better and Better
The app is just missing one thing and thats the ability to trace the different grids with and without the ruler Thats allI think it needs              Great
Forces creation of an Adobe account before you can use the app     Yet another account to setup
A vector app that doesnt support editable Bézier curves selections and transformations seems almost beside the point at least for the work I do The clipboard is massively frustrating to work with Plus you cant delete anything once its been added you have to wait for it to cycle off Gee Adobe couldnt you have given us a heads up on that Though on the whole this round of Adobes mobile efforts surpass the previous set by a mile the vector offerings have been disappointing in action even with Ink and Slide Theyre just good enough at what they do to make the limitations that much more obvious and frustrating           Disappointments drag down the good features
This app is close to being a perfect tool for architects as a sketch pad But like so many others it falls short in some way In the case of Line its missing the ability to either layer or overlay on sketches Trace paper is still arguably the most important tool in the designers arsenal While we are at it the fact that this app is a vector based tool makes me wonder why there is no ability to select and modify linework I dont even need Bézier curves I need basic copycutpaste rotation scaling and moving It Could use the ability to change the width color or stroke type marker pencil etc too Almost no one gets this right though All that being said the linework in Line is the only linework that comes out looking like its from my hand Most other app algorithms dont quite capture my stroke as accurately The grids snaps and ruler are also excellent The tools are actually useful and while they mimic analog instruments they do so without being tacky or intrusive              Best Linework Needs More from Vectors
This App is incredible You should get it                 Wow
Thank you for supporting it                 iPad 2
Not enough tutorials to explain fundamental use        Lacks instruction
Its crashing every time I try to open it This is happening for a week now Im using an iPad Air     CRASHING
I am not really sure why this is a separate app from Adobe draw As an architect I love where Adobe is going but the fact that there are no layers to my knowledge and no type text tool makes it rather useless           Good start but no layers and limited brushes
