Adventures with Emma - Word Picture Association (Basics)

I was a little disappointed in this app considering it was made for children who may have special needs it can be difficult to circle the correct picture in the quiz mode Often times the correct pic is chosen but the app doesnt like the way the circle is drawn therefore marking it wrong or simply ignoring itcausing my student to then make another choice thinking they were wrong even when they werent Im not so sure drawing a circle around the correct choice is such a great idea too many of my students are too uncoordinated to do this My other complaint is that I thought this app taught associations but it really doesnt Yes it teaches in groups that are associated but I was hoping for quizzes that would help a child practice and learn exactly what associations are meaning they would have to find two items that are associated or go together in a memory game or a quiz But I found nothing that really taught the true concept of associations Ive been looking very hard for a good app to teach this concept and so far Im thinking its just not out there        Adventures with Emma
