AFL: Gold Edition

This is a good game Its as solid as a rather complex sports game can be for the iPad Great graphics and sound and the game play is decent The knock on this game is that once you go from very easy to easy mode its 1000X harder Good luck taking a mark in the higher levels of difficulty Frustrating from that end of things but a must for any AFL fan              Tough but fun

This app outdoes Madden12 Fifa12 NBA 2k12 and NHL11 by so much its not funny Bravo                 Wow

I am delighted to have found this gem of a game It is a pleasure to have footy for the iPad Game plays well and graphics are good Looking forward to future updates                 Footy for the iPad

Im an AFL fan living in the states so I was very excited to see this app My first review was mixed as I found it nearly impossible to kick to a mark Im glad to say that a little patience pays off with the controls and now Im playing a real game of footy Very cool game Worth the price Be aware of the affects of the and the heart buttons as they change the kick and handball actions Im loving it now and looking forward to the team updates                 update Patience with controls reveals an excellent game

Finally somebody decided to launch an AFL game It could have a better resolution and an onlinebluetooth interface but its pretty good for a start              Pretty Good

Ive been waiting for a good AFL game at last Worth every penny I havent gotten deep into the ownership aspect yet but the gameplay is fun and addictive Thanks                 Awesome

Fantastic game with only a few errors in game rules They can Shepard all the want from bounce or throw in yet if I do it I get penalized Or if its a kick in from a behind and no1 touches it and it goes out of bounds its not a throw in its supposed to be a free kick Other little nit picky thing but its my favorite game for iPad for sure and has been for months I do wish the difficulty was harder as I find myself winning by huge margins on legend mode Like 100 point thrashings 910 for afl fans                 Fantastic

Cant believe there is finally a full footy game available in the United States and I feel like Im playing a truly great game not just settling because its the only AFL game out there The tackling is awesome and scoring a goal is a rushThe graphics are OK and so is the commentary and music but the bottom line is the gameplay and the gameplay is awesome and hard to put down On my wish list for an update or a later version includes Easier aiming for kicks the joystick is awfully sensitive More crowd noise it seems as if Im at a tennis match with the way the crowd reacts to a goal Instant replay I want to watch those speckies and running goals over and over again Better opponent AI at the end of the game If I am destroying a team and theres only a few seconds on the clock they seem to just while away the time with easy marks and not punt it downfield for a desperately needed score Better music and more songs That all said this is an incredible effort and worth the higher price tag great job              FINALLY

Its great to have an AFL game to play Im in the states and this helps to satisfy my cravings for AFL action when listening to the games though the AFL live app just isnt enough It would be a 5 star review if things were fixed that other people have mentioned before better commentary graphics kicking with the knee But I would like to add that the font is ridiculously small and could be made larger Im visually impaired and even my buddies with 2020 have a hard time reading the text Granted I am playing on a 3GS but I dont think that I should have to compromise because of a small screen just because I dont have an iPad per se with a bigger screen It would be awesome if that could be fixed in an update              Awesome game from stateside

Heres how to make it 5 stars 1 Add grounds like the The Gabba Aami stadium old grounds like Victoria park Windy Hill Visy park 2 Better commentary as the commentary now gets quite repetitive as you move on in the game 3 In career manager please put customizable crowd sizes membership numbers 4 Graphics graphics are quite good other than when in the replay screen it shows that they kick of their knees Also the faces of the players dont look any thing like them I also dont like how the crowd is cheering even when the other team scores 5 With your own player please put in what nickname you CHOOSE to have Like I didnt want any of the names there so can you please have a typing box that the commentators can still say 6 General fixes when the ball bounces it bounces appropriately to how it was kicked 7 Multiplayer Everyone wants multiplayer and you will DEFINITELY get 5 stars if there is multiplayer bluetooth or Wifi Other than this it is one of my favourite games that everyone downloads              AFL GOLD EDITION
