Akane the Kunoichi

This is an excellent game all in all but it could use a few control tweaks              Excellent retro action platformer

Good platformer Control needs some tweaking Should also add option to skip level complete or game over screens              Very challenging

This game deserves more recognition I stumbled across it by accident and have been smitten ever since The game is comparable to League of Evil in its design with levels divided up into short chunks However whereas in LoE the levels are designed to take about 30 seconds in Akane they are about five minute intervals with intermittent boss battles The paid version of this game supports iCade controls and they are fantastic I use an ipega controller and the dpad makes me nostalgic for the SNES days Speaking of this game is very reminscent of Ninja Gaiden on the NES which is probably intentional considering the ninja theme Admittedly this game is short but it is well worth the price tag for the production value and care that obviously went into crafting it The sound effects and graphics are top notch The gameplay is fun I can not speak more highly of this game Recommend it                 Excellent Platformer

The gameplay itself is actually quite fun and I would have given it 4 or 5 stars but for one glaring flaw The controls I couldnt count the number of times one of the side arrows just stopped working midjump and led to me falling to my death Unfortunately this leads to too many unfair deaths           Fun but Frustrating

This game really gave me that SNES vibe with a hint of modern doujin soft Haruneko has a good understanding of how Japanese platformer physics work From the way Akane clings to walls to the timing and weight of her jumps is dead on She even builds up inertia when she runs Everything is responsive and instant It just feels right I felt that the life bar is a bit too long and scrolls and power up items were placed a bit randomly in some levels But none of this took away from the fun I was having This is just a really solid platformer with good controls with or without the iCade I really hope to see another game starring Akane in the future                 Hidden gem

A lot like your favorite side scroller from days of yore but with a splash of Xena thrown in to keep the older gamers interest piqued              Good Game

I love platform games but this ones controls are not so great which leads to bottomless pit deaths far too often Also I wish it didnt take 5 minutes to say level complete I just feel it doing that is wasted time        Just ok

I admit this game looks cool but when you buy it you arent able at all to play it You should fix it Jus a grey screen and the music That is the only reason why i am giving it 1 star     Why

Its free the controls are smooth and its just a good minigame when you have a few minutes to spare                 Great retrostyle platformer

The platform is a good game so far a good story mode at that But my only complaint is that the controls are unresponsive and way too small and close together which is frustrating when your trying to get through a stagelevel that has a lot of ducking and jumping Fix these issue and you will have a great game              Good

This game looks excellent plays excellent and with the Icade mobile controls excellent This game really really is a lot of fun It was well worth the couple of dollars I spent and right now being that it is free I wouldnt even consider missing out on the opportunity to play this game again If you are an Icade mobile controller owner it enhances the gameplay tenfold And this is one of the top five best games compatible with it Download this game right now and enjoy one of the best platform is on the iOS market                 They must have oldschool fighterplatformer

Am I doing something wrong here Sexedup icon aside the game has a nice retro style to it and looked like it was going to be fun but I found it unplayable with the onscreen Dpad on a 5th gen iPod Touch It was unresponsive and nearly impossible to get her to do what I wanted with the thing and if theres anything you need in an oldschool platformer its good control But there area lot of 5star reviews here Are people using sticks to play or are my thumbs just fat or something        Awful onscreen Dpad
