Excellent app Request changed form for the vowels This is very important basic info that is missing Some thoughts For me the the whole point and motivation to study Thai script and buy this app is that the many transliteration systems apparently based on English are not only insufficient for pronouncing Thai but actually confusing and a hindrance to learning So I dont quite see the point of the sounds like feature of the vowels section that attempts to compare the vowel to a sound in English or French Most of the examples sound nothing like any dialect of native English I have ever heard and certainly not mine Eastern US Just accept that there are many sounds that dont exist in English and even the ones that are close are not exactly the same and still require attention which is what is what the audio is for One other thing In the overview function it would be twice as efficient if when you tap a card it took you directly to the card rather than highlighting it and requiring you to still push the upper left button to return to the single flash card view In conclusion anyone who plans on actually learning any Thai staying in Thailand for more than two weeks or having any Thai experience other than pandering plastic packaged tourist treatment should begin learning Thai with the sounds and the alphabet is the best way to do that And this might be the best app for doing that                 Already helping

This is awesome and worth the money Pronunciation and tones are great the way the sections are separated work well for staying organized and on track and I really like how there are small explanations of some characterssymbols as well as the sounds like English word for the vowels The constants have the picture associated with the word and Im remembering written Thai numbers because each card has it written in Thai in upper right corner and then in English on the other side The overview button is great so I can skip to where I want to start studying Shuffling cards does what it should And an important feature is how I can choose the pronunciation system in English to match my book that I study from because it hasnt been easy to use 3 bookssupplements that write the English translation in their own way Once I conquer the alphabet I can focus on reading mostly the Thai words in my study material Im glad I found this app                 Perfect study tool

After I scroll through a few of the cards it wont continue Its like its stuck I can see part of the next card but it wont advance Clearly a bug that needs to be fixed Its a shame because I really enjoy this app it would be very effective if it werent for that one problem     The best app I cant use

This app would be great if it stayed open I spent 199 to get the pro version and it keeps crashing Please fix     Crash friendly

The pronunciation of the letters and vows are clear and easy to understand There is actually a lite version to sample the app                 An useful learning tool

My wife loves how much Thai Im learning with just the iPad but this app is great for learning the alphabet My only suggestion would be to rerecord the samples it sounds like there is a bunch of background noise in every sample Other than that it is a solid app              This is great
