Alabama Civil Rights Trail app is a must have for anyone visiting civil rights attractions I had no idea just how much civil rights history there was to see and learn about I knew about Montgomery Selma and Birmingham but didnt know the history in Marion Mobile and others cities Like that Monroeville and To Kill A Mockingbird are included Nice app                 More to Civil Right Trail in Alabama than you think
Excellent                 Alabama
I thought this app would be good for my classroom since I took the Civil Rights trip to Alabama this summer but it is just a waste of money All it does is advertise the places to visit it does not give any real information     Not What I was Expecting
As locals and travelers continue to discover the legacy of Civil Rights in this South this app is a wonderful guide for finding important locations and good eats throughout the state of Alabama Sites like the Civil Rights Institute and 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham George Washington Carver Museum in Tuskegee Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma and house where Dr Martin Luther King lived in Montgomery are mustsees along the trail and the map and mileage make this app very user friendly                 Great app for travelers foodies
If apps like this were available years ago kids would have loved history I always did so Im excited when theres an opportunity to visit places where important historical events happened I havent been able to actually travel Alabamas Civil Rights Trail in person so this app is the next best thing Edit Parten has done a heck of a job providing not only engaging text and descriptions but also the kind of images that create a sense of you are there I plan to share this app with my young grandson so the words civil rights will have dramatic meaning for him                 Alabama Civil Rights Trail
lots more people would have shown up for class This app makes civil rights history fun with links not just to the sights of history marches and buildings but also BBQ ice cream parlors and other places to stop along the way My favorite thing about this wellorganized guide is that it will make you want to go to these places learn more and read more about this important time in Alabama and American history It isnt comprehensive instead it whets the appetite A great intro to civil rights history for parents who want their kids to get engaged in the subject                 If history class served BBQ
