Enjoy the best and most entertaining content on the web with Alien Blue, the official reddit client The iPad version of the app is specifically adapted for larger screens and a better reddit browsing experience. ...
I used to use that feature all the time and after 2 or 3 updates it still hasnt been fixed on the iPad From what Ive heard its broken for everyone on the iPad so why even keep the option in the UI Ill update my review once its fixed        Another long wait and still unable to email individual comments
Still contains the bug I have reported many times for ios 7 Pathetic Links wont disappear making reading comments near impossible     Still full of bugs
My main complaint about this app is how it has so few options For example if I want to browse rgonewild in gallery mode I have to tap on every image to view it this gets annoying fast and there is no way to disable this It also does not tell you if a sub is private or not or locked it just gives you and endless loading screen Also the app fails to find subs that actually exist that I have been on on my computer but according to AB they dont exist Also there is no way to enable flair on posts this is annoying because pretty much every sub has the same look Its boring and removes a lot of the feel of reddit Another problem is that so far there is not obvious message if you have been banned from a sub if you try and comment it will tell you that your comment has been submitted but it wont appear     Not enough options
What is the point of paying extra for a pro version if they just show you ads anyway I do not think the App Store should allow for an app to trick people like that If they can sell an upgrade to an ad free version are they then bound by some sort of moral obligation to honor their original agreement Apparently not huh     This app is a scam
The app for iPad has fallen behind drastically with many of the features lacking the iPhone versions functionality Also the UI is awful        Very buggy and pales in comparison to the iPhone version
They charge you but still show tons of ads The app now is very unstable and crashes frequently     What a rip off
For some reason this app does not let me log in to my acct           I wish I could use this app but
it has fallen into disrepair just like Reddit You get about 23 minutes of viewing pleasure before it freezes Reload and you get 2 minutes more then repeats even on fresh then it stops again at the same place Used to be able to surf for hours just days ago        A once mighty app
This app is not as terrible as the other reviews are suggesting Ive used the iPhone version for quite a bit and love it When I got an iPad I had hoped for the same experience Unfortunately it falls short in one major way the voting arrows are not able to be displayed alongside posts for easy voting like the iPhone version as opposed to accessing the arrows via a long less Otherwise this app provides an enjoyable browsing experience Reviewers have noted that the ads can be overly intrusive however my version has no ads so I cannot speak to that              Good pales to iPhone version
Excellent                 Excellent
It seems a lot of the negative reviews for this app are people who have been using the app for a long time and dont like some of the changes they have made As someone who is new to this app I think its an awesome experience especially on iPad I would highly recommend ignoring the negative reviews and try this out                 Great experience
Today I Learned that the people who write the Alien Blue whats new notes are Drama Queens           TIL
Laggy on iPad Air 2 ads are intrusive and the leftmost front page button needs to be toggled as seenunseen several times to actually register the button press Unfortunately not many alternatives to AB Crashes very often     Crashes 4x per day
I personally think its cool that there is a app for reddit but I find it easier going to safari and typing in reddit Alien blue I find very confusing with layers and buttons I find it very confusing using the app and navigating around           My personal feelings on the app
The program functions correctly it fetches data reliably and it can post comments without error But as an app to be used by a person it fails the most basic test of good UX common tasks are very difficult and the developers dont see a need to improve Examples logging in as a different user subscribing to a subreddit or syncing your list of subscribed subreddits involve careful trails of taps and selects through nonobvious menus        No expertise in UX
Spez has announced that he will be making Alien Blue a priority                 THANK YOU SPEZ
I paid for this app yet now heree I am browsing through subs with ads This is unacceptable     Ads after paying
Gifs used to work but after a few updates they no longer even show up thru the app I have to open the gif thru Safari to see it I regret ever buying this app     Gifs dont play thru the app anymore
This used to be a great app Now one link in ten is a sponsored post Thats rights ads in an app I paid for Unacceptable This is bait and switch app design of the worst kind and I had sincerely hoped that the developers of Alien Blue were better than this     Sponsored posts No thanks
Used to work fine on iPad 2 Now it just shuts down immediately Please fix     Doesnt open on iPad 2
I bought this app for an ad free experience and to support the developer What happened Good job ruining a great app     Why are there sponsored posts
I downloaded this skeptically due to all the one star reviews mostly complaining about adverts However upon opening the app I was pleasantly surprised to find none Im not sure why this is but Ive had no problems with the app so far My only complaint is the setup The app does not scream social media and could be made a lot more visually appearing I also think the vote up or down arrows should be presented alongside the post Im pleased with this app and have encountered no ads so far              Good app
Its really amazing app well developed and has got original design Sometimes too original              Good job
Such a bad design     Horrible interface
This app was not designed with the ease of the user in mind     Seriously
Was my favorite but now is pretty much unusable due to constant crashing Please fix     Crashes constantly now
The app crashes constantly It has been buggy since forever and the developer refuses to fix the issue     Crash Crash Crash
What once was one of the best apps has turned into a joke No fixes for critical bugs after a long wait and all we got are sponsored advertisements and tracking Uninstalling after this review and looking for a replacement because this app took a nosedive     No improvements but now with sponsored advertisement
This app is awful Ever since reddit took over they have run alien blue into the dirt Its glitchy and extremely unstable This app crashes all the time and has many display glitches that make comments hard to read Not to mention they are now implementing ads even for pro users Try anything else     Glitchy to the point of becoming unusable
As a Redditor for 8 years Im very disappointed in how Reddit has handled the first significant update theyve made after acquiring Alien Blue There are two issues incorporating ads and their response to the community The ad treatment is pretty bad and user hostile You cannot dismiss and ad once youve seen it It always remains If not so obvious I would think this is a bug The community has been very vocal in response Each thread is pretty one sided in user anger The app ratings have been trashed almost down to one star Despite a loud and clear message from the community Reddit remains silent Previously they were typically pretty open and responsive I hope this is not a sign of further things to come     Very Disappointing
This app was great Until Reddit bought it They now have installed ads even for those who have bought the application Pro version     Really
paid for adfree upgrade that was removed should still offer something for the pro users     bait and switch
ever since it was acquired by reddit there are tons of bugs that never gets fixed     Use to love this app but
Wish they would make a universal app with proper split screen or iOS 9        Fallen behind the iPhone version
I paid to be ad free App was sold to reddit Now ads are back Used to be a good app     Paid for ads
Theres always a 5050 chance that my replies wont actually get posted after submitting Not cool at all Also refreshes if I switch to Safari for more than a minute or two so I then lose my place and anything I mightve typed Really disappointing as it used to be a great app Switched to amrc and couldnt be happier     Glitches
I would like a mode with a full screen list and a drag out sidebar     Too cluttered
Paid and still has adds Crashes iPad to blue screen I didnt even know iPad could crash to blue screen until they stopped updating this app Really awful     Terrible
I hate that it doesnt give you the option to load more comments and to view a comment tree you have to load a different windowfor every single comment Why     So aggravating
Nice easy way to view reddit I dont see what all the fuss is about                 Not bad
Paid money for no ads Still got ads Good job guys     Ridiculous
Use this app every day I dont know what the haters talk about Back in the day I paid for the pro version to unlock it To this day I do not see any adssponsored posts Only complaint Notifications dont seem to work I have them set to check every 20 minutes and to allow background notifications but they never arrive to my iPad only arrive on my iPhone              Great app
All the time     Crashes
Horrible app     Crap
Didnt RedditConde Nast buy this company And their official Reddit app still looks like iOS 6 Not good     Good app needs update
Not a joy to use by any stretch A big guessing game trying to do basic operations     Unintuitive user interface
Alien Blue is the best way to brows reddit using an iPad Thank you so much Great app for my iPad                 1 reddit client
So I had the paid version of is app for awhile now and its not ok that ads are still being pushed through Also this crashes about 40 of the time I try to leave a comment and it wont save the things Ive up voted half of the time     Sigh
Users cant be authenticated so the app doesnt allow us to sign in There are no spoiler tags I emailed support and they told me something to enable but all that does is put in italics HOW DOES THAT HELP A spoiler should not be visible until I click on it     Bad Update
The app is very good I dont understand why people are voting bad for ads I have seen no adds and it is a very pristine app with its layout If you are a reddit user this will be an amazing app                 Very good
