How will you survive? Before you buy, expand this description to check the system requirements below. Marooned on a decaying space station, the Sevastopol, you ll enter a desperate struggle for survival as you are stalked by ...
Everything about this game captures the fear dread and survival instinct of the original Alien movie Attention to detail is what makes this game shine You can t go in with guns blazing you have to be more resourceful and smarter than that Each gaming session left my adrenaline set to 11 For me this is an example of masterful game design for the FPS genre with less emphasis on the shooting part You still get to blow things up though                     Brilliant game Ye Olde Farte
Thank you Feral for bringing such a great adventure to the Mac I enjoyed the great combination of adventure stealth and FPS Yes it was hard sometimes but the save points get more frequent in the later chapters of the story which made it less frustrating My audio may be different than others but the beep of the save stations was not intrusive Rather it was a great relief to hear that there was one nearby There are some surprises and even some humor Fortunately I could laugh out loud without the monster or a synthetic hearing me Even some failures are sort of fun It has been a long time since I have felt exhilaration like I did when yanked from my hiding place because I wasn t being quiet enough I m using a Macbook Pro 2015 and I did choose to run at less than max graphics resolution in order to keep it very responsive since quick precise action is sometimes needed It still looked great and was fully enjoyable despite some frustrating stretches It was hours of immersive fun and excitement I took a chance paying a fairly high price for it but it was worth every penny                     Exciting adventure EEK47
This game is gorgeous the environments and sound design are immersive and exciting Could ve easily been a 5 star experience Except the developers couldn t come up with any other solution for the user to find a save station other than a never ending deafening beep which is so piercing it destroys my ability to enjoy any of the work put in by the other artists Points of interest and consoles with info are usually found near these save points so the user is required to stay near the save consoles where the sfx are the loudest With no escape from the headache unbelievably the experience is ruined         beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep Aqwrtippvdk
If I were more of a hardcore gamer I might get into this more The art and immersion as well as sound and motion on a late 2013 iMac all are to good effect and I applaud the makers and Ferrel Interactive for the port It s a stunning game But I can t finish it because for me the repitition even on the easiest level is just not fun I don t like doing the same thing over and over and figuring out what I did wrong just before I was able to get to a save point I made it to level 10 I even have a walkthrough and FAQ but I just don t feel like going through most of the level another time The trouble is that when the alien is actively chasing you the weapon stays front and center and you don t have the option to interact with items needed to complete the level There is a key to put the weapon away but I can t figure out which one Even on easy it s probably one of the most difficult games I ve ever picked up It doesn t scare me It frustrates me even worse it s comfoundingly difficult To the point where it s no longer fulfilling my purpose for its use that is I play games for fun To explore material position and tactics To use creativity to solve problems and emmerse in a story Not to try and figure out something have the solution and then get stomped because I can t figure out the controls fast enough And I looked at the key map there is no listing for this that I could find Statistically only 15 of people who buy this game for Playstation finish the game based on analytics I can see why Yes buy the game But don t expect to finish it without the fight of your gaming life I may eventually go back and finish it but I doubt it More like replay the first few levels or some of the DLC Or even use it as a benchmark to test out a new computer In the final analysis I just want to say that more than anything else this game gets me excited about the new generation of games we will be seeing Games now look astonishing to me I ve always loved playing and I ve seen almost everything since Pong It s a great time to be alive Thank you to Feral for making it a treat to own a Mac I like only buying the best of the best games And that is what the Mac platform offers more than any other Only the games worth having make it to the Mac Everything else with a few exceptions I can skip             Almost Great mikepsyche
runs beautifully on mid 2012 macbook pro retina 2 7 ghz 16 gb ram amazingly atmospheric scary as all get out interesting controls and minigames learning curve is perfect highly recommended                     tremendous Vahid Fozi
I bought this game mainly as a stress test for the graphics capabilities of the MacBook Pro 2015 I already have the game for the XBox One At 1440 x 900 with everything on high the game looks fantastic and runs as smoothly if not smoother than the console version Of course you can tweak the settings to your specific likings if you say would prefer a higher resolution and can live without fancy shadows and partile effects but the bottom line is the game runs wonderfully on the 2015 MacBook Pro and is an easy recommend to anyone who has one and wants an atmospheric hardcore videogaming experience                     Runs buttery smooth on MacBook Pro 2015 Mr_Drez
The best Alien game ever Works perfectly on MacBook Pro 2012 Mac OS X El Capitan Thanks for that port                     Awesome game Sergio.Ferro
No problems running on a 2012 Mac Pro with 1 GB video card Runs even better on my Mac Book Pro with 2 GB video memory Very fun game to play in the dark It is a sneek around type game not a shoot em up game You creep around accomplishing tasks all the while trying to avoid THE ALIEN It is challenging and enjoyable Only negative is that it takes a very loing time to download                     Great Alien game CLLCD
