Allergy Caddy - Featured in Men`s Health and Yahoo Health The Food Allergy iPhone app for anyone with food allergies or those who care for children with ...
The new version is faster and better than before                 New version
Pos It does help with selecting safe foods at the listed restaurants Neg I dont ever go to most of these restaurants Qdoba is close but you app tells me that they put soy in everything I can eat corn tortillas lettuce and some hot peppers there basically Please add some slightly better restaurants like Chilis Applebees Jimmy Johns Fajita Republic PF Changs any of the steak houses like Ruths Chris Noodles Co etc How about some of the breakfast restaurant chains Not everyone goes to McDonalds etc When we visit family in other states or are on vacation its not always the best choice but if I can go to Chilis and not have to carry a stack of paper that is their safe foods list because I can access an app like yours on my phone its makes this whole food allergy thing a little bit easier I will check back        Not Helpful Need Better Variety of Quality Restaurants
I just bought this and am looking at the allergy soy specifically Unfortunately food makers are lumping all soy products together Soy lecithin doesnt present a problem for most people and this app doesnt give me details about what kind of soy is in the food so for that reason this doesnt help me at all Everything is going to have a soy warning even if it doesnt have soy protein in it which is the real cause for allergy Id like to see the soy ingredient list on this app           Pretty good
I love this app I have been using this app for three years Unfortunately the last time it was updated was February 2013 It would be amazing if this app were up to date It is the most amazing food allergy app that exists please update it           Needs updated
This app saved my friends GFs life She is allergic to pine nuts and we had no idea the food we were about to eat had pine nuts in it but with this app it was clear has day Thank you allergy caddy You are a life saver                 Clear as day
This app has saved my life As they add more and more restaurants this app will be increasing valuable I would pay 1000 for this                 Great App
Three kids with two different food allergies and this allows us to dine out all with one app Been using it for almost a year Thank you                 Love this app
Having several food allergies can make restaurant selection difficult Allergy Caddy saves me time and effort making choosing a restaurant easy and less of a headache so I can enjoy my meal Looking forward to new developments in this app                 Way to go allergy caddy
I was at red lobster one day and ordered the popcorn shrimp Little did I know I was about to experience the worst moments of my life I checked allergy caddy which told me NOT to eat it due to my shellfish allergy and I lived to see another day                 Allergy caddy saved my life
Great app Really convenient for ensuring I can eat safely when eating out Love it                 Allergy Cat
There are about 170 different proteins you can be allergic to Im allergic to about 10 Only four are covered here I realize the app makers are limited to restaurants information but buyer beware Make sure your allergies are covered by this Besides this its pretty ugly I have to sift through a sea of red menu items Why not pop the foods I can eat to the top of the list           Not useful for all food allergies
Has been a life saver eating out                 Great App
I am a Sunday school teacher of a toddler class Many of my kids have food allergies so I purchased this app thinking that it could help me plan their snacks My kids are allergic to milk nuts sunflower strawberries and pears This app only covers the top 10 allergies and many of my kids allergies are not on the list Also the app is only set up for eating out I did not find any of this information out until after I had already purchased the app I am sure that this is a great app for those with common allergies who want to eat at big chain restaurants However that is where its usefulness ends        Disappointing
Awesome app Would like to see more restaurants added to this list Other than that it works great and is easy to use                 Mm
This product has saved my life at least 4 times 5 stars                 Allergy Caddy
Allergic to tree nuts Lets me know what has it in it Might save my life                 Greatest App
So helpful Thanks for this I have mild gluten allergies and often have to guess what is and isnt ok when I eat out Im on the road a lot and this helps give me so many more options                 So glad to have this
Please add more chains panera corner bakery and Jasons deli           More restaurants please
Has a lot of information in one place which is extremely helpful when on the go What worries me is your own research must be done in addition because some menu items are not marked for allergens I know are present there was a white baguette that was not marked with wheat or gluten Hopefully more restaurants will be added but this is a good start Also a nice feature to add would be your own color coding or prioritization For example I definitely cant have gluten but milk I can do if its just a small amount so flagging it a different color would be nice And also putting safe items at the top followed by decreasingly safe items would be helpful And it should be noted that many of these restaurants update their allergen menu every few months and all of these are from 2011 Overall this is good for a first check but always do a follow up on your own research and asking the employees hoping you get someone who knows wth youre talking about           Decent
Contains a large database of restaurants Works nicely on the iPad Id like to see Biscuitville in future versions                 Very useful app
Thanks for making it so easy to check the allergens of so many restaurants                 So convenient
Scrolling does not work after updating to iOS6 Please update        Broken for iOS6
Great so far Keep adding restaurants                 Keep adding
This app is a lifesaver The only reason it does not get five stars is because I wish it had more restaurants especially sitdown places Hard Rock Cafe Chilis Olive Garden etc Thank you              You need this app
I am allergic to MSG but there is not a lot of data on it under the restaurants I also would like to see a lot more added It could be a valuable tool but just needs more work           Has a lot of promise
