Alliant Mobile Deposit

App was great until the last update Now the app closes anytime I hit Submit button or try to review or delete     Latest update doesnt work

The older version worked really well Now I keep getting errors and its really frustrating        Used to work well but after upgrade

I downloaded the app and even though I am trying to close out of it by choosing Cancel it wont let me Ive had to shut down my iphone to exit the app So far no deposit made     Just downloaded APP it locks up my phone

I have deposited three checks from my couch Takes 1 minute All went through smoothly Love it                 Perfect

I used it for the first time It was uber easy I always had a problem scanning the backside of the checks on my printer This app makes the job even easier                 Nice app

Ive been using the online check deposit for over a year now but it can be finicky I was honestly surprised at the lack of perfection needed in the pictures because I had gotten used to that web app Of course I made sure all the info was on there but the resolution wasnt awesome it still took my deposit and made it immediately available To the user taking pictures in bright sun thats your problem Too much light is as bad as too little and will cause glare that obscures the image Also this will be part of the main mobile app in the future Alliant posted on their Facebook page that they are working on integrating them sometime this summer but that they wanted to go ahead and get this out there Id rather have 2 separate apps than no mobile deposit app                 Better than the online deposit

This app completed its task quickly with little or no effort Had no issues with it accepting the checks works great                 Great mobile deposit app

The current version is much better than the original The picture mode is easier and the deposits are going through quickly              Much better

App constantly crashes and wont log me in called Alliant on the issue and got the run around Apparently its my phone First time an iPhone is the problem for something that was designed on it     Doesnt work

1 out of 5 checks was accepted right away The others were all put on hold for further evaluation Alliants deposit at home is better than this application     Works but slow

I love this idea but the check image capture doesnt work Outside in the bright sun with the check lined up in the green bars it still wont capture a good enough image thats acceptable Its faster to create an online session and just mail the check Hopefully they will update and improve this app If they can get it to work right Ill give it 5 stars        Not very good

Alliant has a Mobile Banking app and this deposit app should be part of it not a stand alone product thats says we forgot to put it in the mobile app           Why a separate app for deposits

Took 15 minutes to get app to accept photos Once submitted waited to find out Alliant didnt take the deposit No reason given Seriously Alliant join the new world of technology Chase and BofA apps work like a charm Youre in the dark ages App is a waste if time and while its free you should pay me to use it as its not worth the effort Epic fail     Alliant app is awful

Camera takes terrible pictures which leads to multiple errors when trying to deposit Not worth the hassle     Terrible

Most banks allow you to take an actual color picture for the deposit and then there are no further issues This app converts the photo into a fax like photo and then has error issues I can get it to work but its not consistent and it depends on the design of the check This app needs work and theres no one to contact about this issue           Needs work

I had to do a 2nd shot of the checks front side to remove the image error but everything went smoothly after that Its very simple to use with plentiful help screens The only thing that looked complicated was the procedure youd have to go through if your mobile deposit was subject to a hold for review Thankfully mine wasnt I dont know if the quality of the images or the overall status of ones bank account leads to such a hold but it was a moot point for me on my first app usage When I think back to when I used Chase Banks mobile app to deposit a check Id have to say that the Alliant version seemed to be easier with respect to capturing the check images on my iPhone It would be ideal if they could make this app part of the regular banking app rather than a separate app                 Worked like a Champ

Impossible to take a picture that this piece of garbage app will accept Dreadful Complete waste of time Tried all different light sources and still getting a MICR numbers along bottom of check cannot be read error no matter what I do I wish there was a rating less than one star     Absolutely awful

Login with your existing online banking credentials is a bad bad thing The only way I am going to use it in a smartphone if we get deposit only credentials Somehow banksCUs dont have security in their mind set At least make it optional     deposit only credentials

This app is awesome Solved my issues with the online deposit problem which was taking me hours and hours of repeat attempts to deposit ONE check This app took a matter of minutes and its done I love it Absolutely the best idea Alliant has come up with especially for those of us who do not live near an Alliant bank or ATM or any major city Thank you for this app because it came just in the nick of time of considering changing all my automatic debits to a local bank Because I wasnt able to get my deposits in on a timely manner I was getting socked with 25 ISF fees and I could not go on like thisso I thought the only real solution is to change everything over to a local bank However THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP shared with me about this feature and now I could just kiss himhe saved me a lot of hassle and aggravation                 Just in time

Have tried many different lighting angles and different checks The scan at home works flawlessly but even after 2 updates Alliant refuses to accept my mobile deposits Stating poor quality third party or signature read issues They should not have released the app until it worked on iPhone     Waste of time

All 3 of my deposits in my first session were held even though the app requested retakes of some photos and then let them go through Will see if the deposits actually post or not My main complaint is that there is no option to select which account to deposit into after the initial login There are certain checks I would like to go into my checking or a particular savings account You can choose which account is receiving the deposit but only right after you log in You cant direct a check into a particular account after that In the website version the first step is to choose which account the deposit goes into They dont have that option in this mobile app version You have to log out and log back in to change the account which is a serious pain on screen keyboard if you have a nice secure random password        Improvement required

I downloaded this app and the next thing I know my phone doesnt remember any of my passwords for email voicemail or WiFi My phone is pretty much useless as even when I type in the password it doesnt remember it I tried to delete the app but it wont delete I click the X and it just jiggles a little then restarts my iPhone which greets me with a request for my voicemail password because it cant remember any more DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IF YOU VALUE YOUR IPHONE Im totally going to have to refresh from a 2 week old backup Bummer I a big Alliant fan too In the process of switching from Wells Fargo This is a little bit of sour grapes Hope they work out the large bugs and include in their regular mobile app     Totally screwed up my iPhone

Love that Alliant now has the option of smart phone deposits but it should have been included as an update to the existing mobile app           Please include in the next app update

The app had been working fine and just now suddenly wont allow me to even log in I know my password is correct because I am able to log into the website I need the app to deposit checks because I do not have access to a scanner I will keep this a onestar review until the app is fixed     Wont allow me to log in
