Aesthetics do matter rather puritanical in appearance but most importantly inconsistent performance rejected my me account iCloud and rejected my gmail accounts but then those accounts appeared later It needs more work Good Idea Needs Work to be Competitive blittle
The app works Adding my Fastmail account was quick and painless It really needs a design overhaul though Some things that would make it better in priority order The menubar icon is huge and ungainly It could behalf the size and also incorporate the number of unread messages so the app does not need to take up 2 places on the menubar The menubar icon does not respect alpha dimming in el cap The font of choice is a difficult to read serif font A switch to a native San Francisco would do wonders It does not integrate with Address Book If you don t know the email address you want to compose to you re out of luck The hotkeys to reply forward do not work Downloading attachments requires too many clicks It s got good potential though Keep at it Functional but barebones jlemieux
