I have played this app so much and I love it However after a while the same old scenarios get boring So if you could add more and randomize them so that sometimes you get them and sometimes you dont wether you click the place they had been before or not that would be awesome So would adding options like sex change and same sex dating and marriage I would enjoy that a lot              Just a few tweeks

Definitely worth the money I doubted it at first but I wound up playing over and over again until 2 am on a school night The ending is very emotional Such a good storyline which you make yourself depending on choices and only one problem What about when someone is gay or lesbian then they have to choose an opposite gender partner Besides that perfect app              Worth every penny

Really unique and great game design has a nice feel to it and is overall very entertaining Great work              Love it

this app is fun but there is a lot of reading and it tends to get repetitive if i could go back i probably would not buy this app its not worth 499 to me           good but gets old

Alter Ego is an amazing game with incredible replay value I find myself playing until 1 in the morning Extremely interactive user friendly and the witty narrator is hilarious My only qualms It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to have a baby forcing me to adopt 99 of the time I also believe the sections of life are too short I really wish it would let me play through all the icons before sending me on or give me the option to advance when I feel Im ready Other than that 1010 game TLDR Buy it Buy it now                 Best 5 Ive ever spent

Everything was perfect and I was really enjoying the game until I proposed to my partner and it froze Ive been waiting for about an hour now for an answer I cant go back or anything Im stuck on the page that tells me Im waiting for my partner to accept or reject my proposal I also feel like the stages can be a bit rushed              All good until it froze

This game is truly amazing I love everything about it But there are a few things that you should add You should choose how fast the game goes from the beginning by increasing or decreasing the amount of things you can do per chapter For me I want it to be longer because I feel like I blew threw the game by trying to have a baby over and over again So I spent almost no time in early adulthood and adulthood It also shouldnt count as a move if you purchase something or even try to have a baby only if it fails So ya being able to select how long the game goes would be helpful But still a unique and wonderful game                 LOVE IT

I played the computer version first and loved it I have played the app version four times and it really is great Definitely worth the price However a few things could use a little polishing 1 Same sex partners the game would be much more interesting if I could spice up the affairs with both men or women It would be interesting to take the necessary actions in order to prefer the same sex 2 Baby making No matter how many times I tried I could NOT have a baby I was in great standings with my wife and work and all of my stats but that baby was not going to happen I had to settle for adoption If I could actually produce a baby the game would be more fun because of dealing with pregnancy 3 Divorce death what happened Once I am an elder no matter the playthrough I do I cannot interact with my spouse None of these experiences are available to you right now is the message Im given Even though I can have an affair divorce and get remarried I cannot interact with my spouse Also sometimes I would try to interact with my spouse and it would tell me I wasnt married I got no message of death or divorce So my question is what happened Once issues like these are straightened out I am sure the game will be even more enjoyable It really is great and I give big thanks to the creators for how smooth it already is Just a few adjustments would make it even better              A little more and it is perfect

Its only a few time play app you should definetly add some updates Its a new year make the game a little better I really loved playing it when I did PLEASE UPDATE           Eh

The game feels generic and lackluster with lots of repetition The life stages are too short and dont offer a sense of achievement        Dissatisfied

I love games where I can make choices so I am in love with this whole game I like the features and all the random possibilities One thing I hate is that I cannot see the number of turns I have left in a certain age group and the fact that I believe checking your stats decreases the number of turns when It shouldnt I also think certain events should not count either especially if you cant go through bc youre missing something Otherwise its great I hope you keep updating                 Super fun

I did not see anything amazing about this game Navigation was odd in that it allows you to experience your life out of order and there is no back button if you accidentally go to the wrong place I found the game text and choices to be banal but I only played it for a little while before losing interest Definitely not worth 5        Did not like it

This is a pick a path story game that I just keep finding myself reading The writing is honestly the best Ive seen in a choose a story game in long time I adore the forth wall breaking narrator who makes you feel like you are actually part of the experience and not just along for the ride The game is never really played the same twice so it has high replay value One I recommend Not much to lose What are you waiting for Get it                 Exceptional

I played the online version until I could save up money for the app And although the app is AWESOME I noticed the beginning is missing In the online version you take a short quiz to help determine what person youd like to be And Ive also seen the same sex thing which has been bothering me as well and the length of each stage An option to stay in the life stage before moving on would be great                 Missing Content

This app is amazing I dont normally have games on my phone but I havent put this down since I bought it I was a little sketchy about paying 5 but its totally worth it in the end This is a beautifully written story The narrator is very intelligent and informative although she can be a bit harsh sometimes I really do wish that it didnt have super strict gender roles though and I dont really want to be with a guy in it Why dont we have a samesex option              Beyond Words but no samesex

I absolutely love this game I just wish their was an option to who you marry whether you marry a boy or a girl Like if youre gay I think youd want to choose which gender you end up with                 Next Update

Im in my mid teens and Ive been doing a lot of thinking over things like this and this game is my way of acting them out My only suggestion would be to allow for more time spent in each chapter overall because I felt rushed                 Amazing

If Im correct this app is based off a very old game of the same name and uses much of the same content with some new stuff mixed in I love it and I think the game works very well although it could certainly benefit from more choices beyond the two or three usually given After 4 or 5 play throughs the game is pretty much squeezed dry of its content which can happen in just a short day              An App of Great Potential

I was waiting to buy this for some time and it didnt disappoint It felt a bit short but that didnt diminish the games value              Not the best but still good

The only complaint I have is that it doesnt let you click all of the options before it moves you on to the next stage It means you always miss something because who really remembers which icons you did or didnt click on the first play through              Pretty decent choose your own adventure

First off itd be really cool if your parents could have second children I think it would add a fun element of growing up with olderyounger siblings and working through those relationships Also I think you should add more image issues The things youve got going so far are pretty good but I dont know of a single teenager in real life who is actually confident Maybe throw in a few more body image confrontational stuff or even give the life path of eating disorders hospitalisation eventual death etc go further with the depression options add bigger endings Rare as it is some people do end up famous Some people end up in jail Some people end up in asylum Some people grow up in an orphanage Give us more of a variety on where we start and end Dont get me wrong despite my numerous comments I love this app Its rather expensive especially considering you can play it online for free go to computer settings and move time forward to skip pauses between ages and its only 299 on kindle but I do love it Four stars for everything Thanks for reading              Love it a few suggestions

On one hand this game is very clever and fun Its basically a persons life categorized into different sections in which you attend to different events or aspects of that persons life On the other hand its extremely difficult to play if youre not an adult and its a bit creepy If you choose two of three options on one question you die These situations are tragically real and this game interprets people so well its scary Another thing is the persons friends and boyfriendsgirlfriends All of them to me seem like jerks Your best friend tries to get you in trouble your friend tries to make you uncomfortable they throw you out to the wolves your partners not reliableseveral issues Thats the only unrealistic thing There are bad aspects of friends but I havent seen a single positive trait in a friend besides the overweight outcast girl and the foreign exchange student One situation that really angered and confused me was when the boyfriend kissed the persons best friend on New Years After I got angry the creator questioned why I made a big deal out of it Ummwhat was I supposed to do Anyways things like spanking and cheating being seen as acceptable in this game gets under my skin Its brilliant yet frustrating at the same time Play at your own risk           Mixed Feelings

I read apt of choose your own adventure books and I wasnt all that impressed with this one It has a lot of prions but is entirely predictable and not very interesting Also I wasnt thrilled with the random negative events or odd dental problems that exist in the story        Okay not great

Update it please wont let me get married or have kids Nonetheless it makes me feel rushed I want to experience everything and I cant do that when Im just aging like crazy Please update it              Plz update

This is one of the most fun games I have ever played Defiantly worth five dollars If you are speculating this game because its a text adventure it is a great game                 I would give 6 stars

So addictive and amazingly fun once I start I cant stop I love the wit of the narrorator maybe more of that and you need to have a name in the game maybe the possibility of siblings these are just suggestion you can do whatever you like                 I love it

I love this game Its super fun The only thing is Ive had it for like a year and there hasnt been a single update which is disappointing It seems like it would be relatively easy to add more options and life paths in the game and yet the creators just havent done so Still the game is super fun and there is definitely enough content to make it worth the money Also there is a typo within middle adulthood in the top work icon It says nonalcoholic dring instead of drink              Awesome

The lack of a virtual reality helmet makes the game a stripped down version of the one at your local Blipz n Chitz Still fun though Wubbalubbalubdub              Not as good as the arcade version
