I was excited to have an almanac app until I realized my weather updates from it were actually an email inbox full of ads Say yes to the app no to the weather addition This company should sever their connection to avoid bad reviews this is a nightmare I have no idea how to get rid of this additional inbox         Interesting but sells adds via weather inbox The poo master 21

This is a great almanac app There s a lot of information packed in here for 1 99 One feature I miss from the old app is the lunar illumination percent that was on the home page I can t find it anywhere in the new app It s nice to know if the moon is 96 illuminated or a full 100                     Great Almanac App Zephyr Express

Giving one star to bring the rating down because I bought this app a few years ago and now I have to buy it again as the old one is being phased out so we re told by developer and it s only for the iPhone the old app was set up for both Guess there will be an iPad version for a few bucks soon It s a cleaner interface but I liked the old one better with that said I m sorry I paid for this new one Oh well live and learn Hopefully with a few updates it will be a nice as the old version Only Time will tell     If it ain t broke don t fix it jsejre

I first fell in love with the old farmers almanac that my father used The new American Almanac with all its fancy stuff is even better Good job                     AWESOME ALMANAC Pablo@yahoo

I m a huge fan of the farmers almanac and loved the old app As a farmer I use this primarily as a weather forecast app and the old one was the most accurate one on the market This one only shows you info for the current day evening It will show you an icon sun rain etc for the 5 day forecast but not even a high low temp reading let alone any wind predictions or times for rain Also far more difficult to manage and understand than the old one Even the weather you can jump forward a week a month or a year at a time but no other increment so you have to do it week by week or month by month instead of just getting a long range forecast like in the old app HUGE downgrade for the weather part of this at least Not worth the money at all if that s what you use it for         Super disappointing Aureacherub

For 1 99 this is a truly amazing app I cannot imagine where else I could find so much useful information It s initially hard to find a few of my favorite features but it simply takes a little exploring just like the original app And I have to say the exploration aspect of the app is my favorite part My two favorite features are the dawn dusk times I wake with the sun so it s nice to have an idea when that will be so I can plan around it and the gardening tips info The gardening feature sets itself to my hardiness zone automatically so the info is relevant and useful Love this app for many other reasons but that s enough for now Many thanks to the creator s of The American Almanac                     Still Fantastic RavenEgoe

So I decided to spend the money and upgrade because I liked the original Almanac a lot Even though the update looks nice I kind of wish I didn t spend the money to update The changing of dates is frustrating and I feel like I can t find things as easy as the original app I m sure it will get better with updates but as it stands right now it s not worth the money to upgrade from the original             Update meh Weather pain
