I hate having to leave such a negative review as I read and enjoy AFP regularly However I purchased a digital only subscription via the AAFP website and am not able to access my subscription via the app I purchased the subscription specifically for use with my iPad so I m extremely disappointed to find that the app has issues with access I ve contacted both AAFP and the app developers so I ll hope to adjust my review accordingly once the issue is resolved     Can t Sign In loganc7

There are problems in how the app acts Like when you go to a quiz press back etc the app gets a little confused and doesn t act the way you d think it would The other problem which is huge is that whenever there is a table or figure in the article you can t click to enlarge or zoom in which makes the nearly unreadable I would also like to star articles instead of bookmark them             App needs work Samueltlogan

I have never seen so many advertisements in an ap You have to scroll through up to 5 or 6 pages to get to each article unless you navigate using the contents tab The content is great but do you really need that many advertisements using extra memory for the downloaded content             Too many ads Hospital Doctor

It may be my lack of imagination but it is difficult to see wha sort of use case this app envisions fulfilling While it allows a sort of idle perusal of the contents of the magazine a medical journal is typically engaged in more interactively that idle flipping It is nice to be able to open up a plaintext view of the article devoid fo the formatting but being unable to export that article to PDF or import it into apps where one can highlight underline and otherwise annotate severely limits its functionality To add to that the app is achingly slow         A decent first effort but behind the times TrueB

This app has only had one successful launch from my phone It crashes every time I have deleted and reinstalled no luck I have installed and powered off on the phone no luck iOS 7 issue     Crash app hmngomez

Great App Very functional and practical I like that links can be easily referenced on the device But you guys really dropped the ball not having some kind of highlighting or mark up tool How many doctors that you know don t highlight when they are reading educational content that they will reference later for studies Guys please spend the time writing an update that has a mark up tool and then you will have a perfect App                 How about a highlighting tool Mykewithay

I am a subscribing member But when I go to login it doesn t work and can t download the journals I go to sign in and takes me back to menu and never asks for password Waste of time     Member but can t sign in Jerrydabomb

I agree with some reviews regarding taking quizzes directly from app and ability to delete previously downloaded issues It would also be really cool to highlight and save certain facts including valuable tables and algorithms But still this makes reading this journal so much better than downloading the PDF versions manually Of course it is far better than reading the paper journal It isn t perfect but it certainly deserves 5 stars                     Could be better but still excellent Just Wonderful

I like the app but there are two shortfalls I don t see any way to delete an issue after it is downloaded Also there should be a way to take the CME quiz in the app Fix these and I ll give it 5 stars             Good but room for improvement mdanon

I have been waiting for an app since I started residency I love the AFP that I get and keep most articles I find useful on my iPad Now I can truly keep all my medical references in a digital format Regarding the application itself it s smooth clean downloads fast and is easy to navigate The links on each page get highlighted briefly when you turn the page making it easy to locate a website for example Thoughtful and helpful I hope the stability continues with each issue I ve only gotten the 01Feb and mid Jan issue thus far We will see how it handles the next one                     Finally Januss331
