AmpliTube Fender™ for iPad

This app is a waste of money The bad part is you must buy the entire app and then it does not plug in to the Amplitube App that I had purchased earlier In short there is no reason to even buy this app is you already own Amplitube and the Company does NOT make that clear Their customer service in Non existent as they do NOT answer emails answer their phone or return calls Buyer Beware because this company is pulling a fast one ITunes should show them the door IK MUltimedia is not worthy or servicing the Musicians of The World Dishonest and Lame     Rip Off

No digital input There are much better apps in the store than this     Dont waist your money

I wish I paid closer attention to the last version update date when I purchased this with the full Amplitube bundle Although the mainoriginal Amplitube app was updated in Oct 2014 the Fender Slash Jimi Hendrix and Orange versions have not been updated and are not iOS 8 compatible Also this bundle of separate apps makes no sense Yes the Fender Slash Jimi Hendrix and Orange versions are separate standalone apps instead of being inapp purchases within the main Amplitube app which would make much more sense and be more useable Theyve made it impossible to mix and match the amps cabs and effects between them Its also a bit of a ripoff that the bundle does not include the multitrack recorder and if you want it you have to purchase it separately for each of the Amplitube apps Given how happy Ive been with other IK MultiMedia products like the iRigs of which I own 3 the Amplitube family has been a bit of a disappointment        Not iOS 8 compatible bundle makes no sense

I will gladly pay a tariff as an in app purchase to avoid having to use your proprietary IRig gear I love your appplease let me use the MIDI XLR phantom power RCA video out stereo quarter inch main outs and kicking headphone outsetc on my Alesis Studio dock for iPad You can protect your proprietary access by just charging more for nonIRig users The 8 track recorder alone gorgeous Add MIDI MMC to the transport functions and let people use their mics of choice patch out a video feed mod allow importexport of files and you got a 5 star plus app           Non IRig app access

This app lacks any chorus or flanger or other inapp purchase options Except for the 15 8track recorder I went ahead and bought Hope the dev returns my email and updates the next version Apparently if I bought amplitude normal version I could have fully loaded it via in app purchases for the same cost I already paid plus the 20 for amplitude     Same exact complaint as gtrdoc Dont buy this

Cant believe Fender put their name on this Sounds NOTHING like a twin reverb Anything past a 1 on the volume produces distortion Not a lick of clean headroom Plugged it into a REAL twin reverb and none of the controls or effects work at all Sounds exactly the same as plugging straight into the amp The recorder sounds like crap Oh and occasionally it will start playing a random song thats in my iPad library making it impossible to use in a live performance If you only like shred guitar and you need a practice rig for your dorm room or apartment try the free version I can almost guarantee youll be disappointed The interface module can be picked up on eBay for around 15 bucks Good luck     Just about useless

This app got me by surprise I have several apps that let me sculpt guitar sound Well this one won the prize Just try the lite and youll see how your guitar sound It is just awesome And then you can make your own recording                 Five stars only because I cant give more

Just like their Amplitube product this thing is too damn noisy If you use the noise filter it destroys your tone And I already bought the multitrack recorder Ian Amplitube why should I Have to but it again I cant wait until Garage Band comes out on the iPad     Noise

The Free app is not the same as the full app and if you buy an addon in one it doesnt appear in the other I had downloaded Amplitube iPad Fender Free I bought the recorder from inside the app As many have noted if you buy from the Fender App forget about all the other options So I wrote about switching to Amplitube iPad Regular Im still waiting for an answer from IK Multimedia In the meantime I decided to download Amplitube Fender for iPad in order not to have free in the icon of the App anymore It turns out that in fact its a completely different app and in fact I bought stomp boxes and such for another 14 or such Meanwhile the 8 track recorder I bought in the free version does not appear This multiplication of apps is really confusing     Careful with what you buy and in which order

The good newsOverall the sound is very Fender From the twin reverb to the bassman the tones are very close to the real thing pretty amazing tool for the 1499 price tag The jam along feature is cool too great for practice you can pull songs off your ipod and put directly into the app Now for the bad news This thing hisses like crazy I dont know if its the irig or the app itself but it makes a very cool app not so cool because of the noise Good thing it comes with a noise filter pedal or this app would be useless Someone please come out with a better interface irig Oh and forget about plugging into an ampHISSSSSSSSSS        Hissssss

Whats great is there is no latency issues whatsoever however I keep getting a buzz much like over modulation that I cant seem to get out I tried adjusting the input the output but no luck The effects are decent not much difference with the distortion pedals However the noise reduction and the phaser sound great Perfect for recording when you get an idea you want to keep or just to have fun with whilst camping Not for producing quality songs           Not great

Just gotta tell everyone out there on the fence about this GET IT You wont regret it I play Bass and like many of you I was looking for the cheapest way to play through my iPad and possibly through my HTPC and my Amps with the ability to choose between 100s of tones My experience with iRig and my iPad3 has been nothing short of great IK has been making pro quality equipment emulation software for a long time This is incredibly cheap for what your getting Their desktop version goes for 350sothis is pretty cheap If you make sure the noise filter is on it really is as clean as a sound as I would get going straight through my Warwick or Ampeg combos BIG thing I would like to tell people who are having noise issues and or volume issues First for me phones straight from the iRig was decent enough againespecially with the noise filter they provide Volume really is fine considering you can do easy damage to our ears with Bass sound BUTwhen I spent a few extra bucks on a cable solution that fed from the iRig straight to my Sound Cards mic port in my PC 18 to RCA RCA 18 Y adapter 18 16ft extensiona miracle happenedalmost all noise goneand enough CLEAN volume to destroy your hearing Headphones or my 71 PC speakersthe sound was AWESOME Plusthe amps and effects of this Fender pack is KILLER A TON of great soundsand the 59 Bassman is wicked For 80 I got the iRigFender Amp pack cables and adapter to hook to my PCand a great set of JVC headphones Yeahthe Apogee Jam is better but its also 100 You would still need to buy cables and apps etc This to me was the way to go Bottom lineGET it But I highly recommend to spend a few bucks and get the cables needed to essentially use your computers sound card as a preampthen use your headphones through your PC Easy Noise and volume problems are nonexistent after that                 Awesome software

I really loved this app on my iPhone It was the FIRST app I purchased for my iPad 2 which I was planning to use with an Alesis Io Dock that I bought at the same time as the iPad What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I found out AFTER purchasing AmpliTube Fender that the app only works using the audio jack and not the 30 pin connector which is what the Io Dock uses For more than 15 MONTHS IK Media has been claiming that they will SOON support the 30 connector which they have failed to deliver And not even a single mention of this issue in the specs It has become obvious that they have no plans to support the 30 pin connector as all of their hardware connects using the audio jack Ive given up and bought Garage Band for iPad that works with the Io Dock and even has a bigger install base and better support Do yourself a favor and pass on any IK Media apps They jut dont care about their customers Too bad I really liked the app but lack of 30 pin support makes it a BIG FAIL     Could be great but fails

This app could be so good with some heavy tweaking the basic tone isnt half bad but I agree with the previous reviewer about the lack of headroom on the amp gain making it unusable for a great clean sound the twin is renowned for Loved the compressor it needs a decent chorus found the Fender Blender and the phaser totally unusable surely a master volume on the amp and an easily accessible toggle between clean and overdriven would make this a pro useable bit of kit you lot at IK could be proud of The other FX apps Hendrix Slash ect really should be integrated into one great app otherwise it really does smack of profiteering rather than taking this virtual FX IPad thing to the next level           Wasted potential

Any add on items like this can not be combined with any other Amplitube products apps Please fix this I have spent a lot of money on your products and just want everything in one app You must buy everything as an in app purchase Do not purchase separate     Awesome but

I am impressed by Amplitubes sound I have several amp modelers on my iPadAmplitube Fender Mobile Pod the lite version of Ampkit Garageband and Amplitube Without a doubt the Amplitube apps have the best sound and the most realistic tones Every app has a few good to great tonesAmplitube gets it right more than any of the others You have to calibrate your ins and outs see setup to avoid nastiness but once you do life is good I input to the iPad with the Line6 Mobile In SorryiRigthe Line 6 device is far superiorno noise no feedbackjust a pure high quality signal Saying that I have admit that the Amplitube models sound the most realistic These folks have done their homework and understand the finer nuances of tone Love the Twin Reverb and the SuperSonic especially I wish I could have all the Amplitube models in ONE app That is my only regret The sounds however are great stuff                 Love it

I love this app but I want to be able to get it onto my iPhone and it says that I have to purchase it again Please make it compatible for my phone with the one purchase I dont want to buy it again           Please transfer between devices

I really enjoy this app It is very versatile and convenient It would be nice if irig came out with a few more traditional amps like early 1960s amps like baseman and bandmaster                 Great app

So if you buy the program then buy all of the plugins then then the iRig none of it will work on the iPhone because this program will not install on the iPhone Usually if you buy the iPhone version it will also install on the iPad but I dont know and am not willing to pay another 30 to purchase what I already own Be very careful of the choices you make they got me good on this one        This is iPad ONLY version NOT for iPhone
