This app was somthing that caught my eye on the iTunes App page I thought that the idea was cool and could be very useful to my guitar playing I was hesitent at first not knowing what to expect but I felt that 1 was worth the risk I bought the app and I love it The issues with impendance is a little annoying but I know that the team is doing everything they can to fix it And once you find the sweet spot it gets an awesome tone Keep up the great work and I will be looking forward to Pedals in the future                 Awesome

I would love to see updates to the interface progress Amplitube has the irig interface but Im holding off on that until the ACs interface surfaces Pedals looks very promising Cant beat the price of this app           5 star pending

Its incredibly convenient and yet Im blown away by how amazing this sounds live Nearly unbelievable                 this will be the common way to make music in the near future

I cant believe how much people complain about an app that works ok So there is no interface It still works ok with a mic If this was a 10 app youd have a point but its freakin 99 cents What a loser An iced tea at McDs is more expensive than that Grow up and get a life Im sure the fine folks at groundupaudio would be happy if they never heard from you again Back to the app Its ok with a mic input If you have a first gen iPod touch and you bought this its your own fault A piece of software cant change your hardware 99 centsthink about that              Complainerscalm down

This app is worthless If you turn the gain up at all its unlistenable The Marshall emulation is laughable theres not even any distortion Just buy a small amp youre asking too much from a phone     Terrible

Hands down the best amp simulation I have ever played with Keep up the good work                 It just keeps getting better

This is a really nice looking app Tones are good Love the modern amp especially on clean but lots of gain sounds really tough too                 Modern amp sounds great

This app has so much potential and is extremely innovative As of right now theres little you can do with the lack of an interface The mic works but it doesnt work well thats not the developers fault though I recommend everyone going on the website and taking the survey about developing a dedicated interface for this app Theyve also got another app on the way called Pedals I think you can venture a guess as to what that might be                

Too many ridiculous things about this app to enumerate Ridiculously fantastic interface Ridiculously fun Ridiculously low price Ridiculously great tone Ridiculous that the tone cleans up as you lower the guitar volume just like a REAL AMP A totally ridiculous pile of cables and adaptors to get from my guitar to the phone to my headphones And if you play guitar and own an iPhone you are ridiculous if you dont buy this app Until the hardware interface is released you will need an iPhone AV cable and an assortment of adaptors to get from your guitars 14 inch phono plug to a set of earbuds Luckily I had everything I needed and this app actually WORKS AS ADVERTISED Minor bug pick attack is strongly attenuated by the audio processing On the upside latency is minimal Developers please toss in ridiculouslyauthenticsounding REVERB on the next release LOVE THIS APP                 Ridiculously AWESOME

Sounds crappy And there is to much of a delay between what youre playing and what youre hearing        Ughhhh

This people are not fooling around adding hundreds of effects and tools they create the most realistic virtual amps I ever heard on a iPhone Amp I love it is perfect for performances and recordings now Im using my phone more in my pedalboard with this app than making phone calls                 Easy to use and realistic sound

AUDIO INTERFACE AVAILABLE SOON Right Youve been saying the exact thing for well over a year I read the details you provide on your site Your main Magic Bullet is focused on Impedance Im no Rocket Wizard but impedance will vary with various input devices So either you make some one size fits all compromise or you make a connect box with the throughput resistance inline with a selector switch adjustable with several circuits to match a much as possible Probably only cost a couple thousand to produce sell the Pro boxes for 50 each Youll still get complaints but at least the show will continue to appear real LOOK WE MADE AN INTERFACE WITHIN TWO YEARS You can fool most of the people most of the time But only for so long I have a strong feeling that hundreds of electrical engineers offered to help you but you dont want to pay for something serious huh Maybe it would help But geeze that would make sense and that would be dumb Dont go away mad just go away     Steam or Mule powered

Currently sitting next to the Ground Up Audio staff talking about their app and playing with their interface and it sounds fantastic Beyond excited to see where this heads in the future                 So sexy

i got tired of waiting for an audio interface cable so i just made one myself and this app is perfect with it but more amps and cabs would be great                 great but plzz more amps and stuff

I have tried all the available gtr amp apps out there This one is just ok The tones werent as good as amplitube or ampkit which are free I used the Ampkit Link on this There was a small amount of latency and not enough distortion for anything approaching metalhard rock I do like the interface but a pretty package only gets you so far For a buck it is fine I suppose No recording or wifi transfer capability obviously I have to wonder about the other 4 5 star reviewers Potential yes but not there yet If you could make something with better gain and not need a noise gate like the other apps I would be very impressed        Underwhelming

I would totally love this to work in with linein to the phone and have the speakers blast the sounds out I thought that was the case But no     Doesnt work with linein

Wouldnt even work with mygot no signal I have a strong feeling the amps arent even impulse response based and have that annoying ubiquitous POD 20 type soundflubby and digital Im sticking with Ampkit and Guitar Tone sonoma wireworks which both have fantastic sounds and are convolution based I cant wait for overloud TH2 to come out for Aurias 48 track DAW app     Crap

Biggest waste of a dollar I bought this app and then deleted it First time doing that The free amplitude apps are way better     Dont buy

i have the other two common amp apps and i like them also they do some things this one doesnt but when im done screwing around and i just want it to sound good Amp Cabs is where i go              nofuss goodness

The user interface is second to none This app looks so hot I cant wait to what these guys do next The amp sounds and cabinet simulations are each unique and sound incredible The modern amp and 4x12 combo are fabulous I also like pairing the classic with the 2x12 Not a huge fan of the retro head or 1x12 but they are true to form just not my style Would love another option on the amp heads for something with reverb Maybe emulate a fender super reverb That would make me happy Cant wait for a recording option on a future update Heres hoping Also the amp sounds in this app are far better than ishred live and amplitube put together Those apps are trying to do too much and the pure amp sounds suffer as a result If you like great amp sounds get this app                 Its so sexy

The sound rocks it keeps the tone of my guitar true This is better then any stand alone headphone amp and better then any other iPhone or computer app The sound is great and the multiple amps are nice Just a note to Ground Up Audio I would love to be able to record but otherwise love this              Very Impresive Worth much more

So far this app really doesnt do much because there is no good way to connect your guitar However I love what these guys are doing to develop a decent way to interface your guitar to the iPhone I was very impressed by their web site and I encourage everyone to go there and take the survey They seem to be taking this very seriously The 5 star rating is a vote of confidence in their attitude and potential I have been playing guitar for 30 years and finally it seems there could be a truly convenient way to just plug in and practice anywhere any time Come on guys dont let us down                 Not yet so why 5 stars

so far untill they make a special cable to plug your guitar into your i phone this app is a worthless piece of crap because when you use the mic that comes with the i phone headset its so quiet and if you turn it up enough to hear it its so distorted and sence this app doesnt produce a clear loud tone ur better off playing the guitar with it plugged into nothing cause its louder and clear by its self     doesnt pick up

Direct input via cable as mentioned by others and we need more knobs and sounds has potential to be a great app           Ok but needs more

At 99 cents this is a must have I havent even hooked up a guitar yet because I havent made the cable and it doesnt matter Its still fun with my voice and they use some decent distortion algorithms Especially considering what this functionality replaces I cant imagine giving it any less than 5 starsits 99 cents Now Im off to develop a footswitch for the dock connector                 Great job guys
