So I admit it I hate forced updates But I especially hate them when they take away functionality I previously had We ve had this device a couple years now But after this latest update my child s tracker will not track her past the half day mark After some time between 11 and 1 it will just register No Communication I m hoping it s a battery glitch that they will resolve in another update that comes within the next couple days or so As I understand it Apple ruins iPhone batteries with their updates so if that s happening here I suppose it can and will be fixed I m sure they don t want to be constantly replacing devices I have contacted them and at first was told that if the cellular coverage in my area was poor I could get that message I told them it wasn t doing this in those places before the update and besides that every place in my state after 1 pm can t be No Communication So I was supposed to be emailed some steps they d want me to take first that I never got I m guessing it either needs another battery in the device or that there s just no way to fix it without another update If this doesn t get resolved quickly I m returning this device and ending my subscription to the service Too expensive to be so lax on this kind of problem There are other options for tracking these days     New update is not working for me sjbrown

This little device is so cool A friend of my family was talking about needing a tracker like this on Facebook today and I recommended a different device but when I found this one it had crazy amounts of features like getting to listen in on it remotely to see if your kid is getting bullied I think they need to widen their market to all kids and not focus entirely on special needs children Don t get me wrong it s great that they do but this does everything that parents would love to do with just their normal child locating devices Also I couldn t tell if they donate to special needs programs but if they don t they really should and if they do they need to show that front and center on their website These parents are a very close community who would respond well to this Shoutout to Sue my family friend on Facebook and her son Alex for recommending this                     The is awesome Jonathan Self

Ever since the new update I haven t been able to track my daughter s travel progress like I did before The map just turns white and returns to the same picture when it comes back on even though my daughter has moved on from that spot and I can t move the map I have to exit the map and go back in to see where she is Also when it does work hate having to use two fingers now to move the map             New Update Not Working redAppleDlishus

I bought the device about 3 months ago for my autistic son and it is great as a tracking system It s about the size of a pager and it fits perfectly in his pocket The magnet device that attaches to his clothes is great and impossible to remove unless you take his clothes off and alerts you whenever your child is on the move However there are kinks that need to be worked out There are times when I call to listen in on him just to make sure he is okay especially in transit and the sound is so muffled or the sound almost has an echo effect that you can t understand what is being said And not to mention being in the pocket already will muffle the clarity of the sound This concerns me in the event that my son is in a dangerous or scary situation and I can t hear what s going on Another thing is that sometimes the reception can be a bit weak in certain areas I would love it if they come out with a watch style device that can have a clearer sound that doesn t have clothes muffling the sound Being able to hear my son s surroundings is important to me             On the fence Jonbojr1
