The Apollonius is now available for $3.99 for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 0.2 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 1.0 has been released on 2014-11-27. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. As a mathematics education professor and dynamic geometry enthusiast since the days of Geometric Supposer I can honestly say this app is a welcome addition for the iPhone While measurement tools are lacking the interface is perfect for small handheld devices Menu selections are generated intelligently based on object selection akin to kseg Dont expect GeoGebra or Sketchpad However the app comes highly recommended as a genuine compass straightedge DGS I eagerly await updates with added functionality Nice interface

I use a great many applications and do design work and real media artwork This is a fine geometry envisioning tool but as mentioned lacks export or saving ability I actually put my iPod on a scanner to save a construction The email feature would be most welcome as files would not have to be saved locally but could be whisked to a home computer where the file could interact with the big boys Adobe CS and Corel Painter suites I use daily Apollonious is great

I have been looking for a compass and straightedge app for a long time This works perfectly Enhancement requests saving constructions with titles exporting constructions to photo gallery emailing constructions animating constructions AND MORE DOCUMENTATION I have been able to get it to work through trial and error but I dont even know what I dont know Also I think you should be able to create a circle by selecting 3 points such that the first two define the radius and the third defines the center without first having to construct the line segment between the first two points selecting the segment selecting the center point and then being able to construct the circle Finally

Copy distance would make this app more convenient Points

This is an awesome app but at least needs the function to save constructions last update was a long time ago and it says updates are regular Also needs a delete all button Would be 5 stars otherwise Update please

Euclid himself would probably not have asked for anything more Beautifully done I hope transformations and iteration are the next things to add besides saving constructions as steps You can save mere pictures as screenshots and the constructions themselves stay on your screen until you choose to delete them This 25yr veteran of Geometry teaching says BUY THIS APP Compass and straightedge

Excellent app This is a very useful tool for understanding geometry in an intuitive way In future versions I would like to see animation capabilities such as a point rotating another point at a fixed distance possibly initiated by a simple flick color coding selection groups and being able to quickly select between these groups and most of all I would like to see multitouch capabilities Everyone should learn geometry using a program like this it allows users to develop a very deep understanding of geometry Powerful Learning Tool

Great start easy to use but we definitely need an update I wont lower the rating but there are so many easy things that need to be added Dont be content with being the first IGS Great start

Developers notes say New versions will appear frequently four months have passed and no updates and the support page doesnt exist It would be nice to at least be able to save more than one construction or maybe even implement export to GeoGebra or CaRCaRMetal both free a and open source Where are the updates

Its a great application The only lack I can see is that there is no way to save and reload you constructions great application

I wish you could save images and paste them into documents I also wish the app was vga compatible so I could project the images in class So much potential
