Aquarium Handbook Complete

I boaght this app only to gain information on Marine INvertebrates but the data was very limited and should eb uptades It is not worth 15 dollars           Need More Salt Water

There is not a lot out there so far as apps for aquarists but this app part guidebook part encyclopedia and part custom data base for your aquarium is a very good start The fish handbook is large though not yet complete and I am still navigating my way through the home aquarium data base which will help you to record and keep track of your water parameters and fish population What I like best is that it is a very appropriate fusion of new and old technologies Would definitely buy again and look forward to new editions Would have given five stars but it is a work in progress which should improve with time and a few tweaks              Nice Fusion of Handbook and Database

I love this ap being new to saltwater aquariums I can say this ap is a life saver and easy on the head Less migraines thats for sure Youll love it too A must for all aguariumaltists                 New to Saltwater 125g

Most if not all information found in this handbook is taken directly from Wikipedia even the images For 15 at the very least I expected a search feature If you can locate your fish by endless scrolling you can add it to a list Thats all it does I wish you could type in your tanks info and the app could tell you what you could add suggestions etc Bottom line should be free asis 99 with nice features It currently has none Save your 15     Disappointing

I think the app needs a lot more work amd updates need to come in faster I dont think it takes that long to look at fish species and compile information I think members should be able to submit photos of fish that they have                 Helpful app

I really like the idea and layout of this app although the saltwater section such as corals inverts and anemones are seriously lacking Hopefully will add more in future updates The water tester is handy will definately be a 5 app once the saltwater section is more complete              Great app needs more

Ive been looking for an aquarium encyclopedia app all over the app store This is the 1app on my iPhone and I have over 100 apps All of you haters can kiss my a cuz they probably took a hell of a long time making this and they did include sharks I checked Thank you the 15 was undoubtly worth every penny On the other hand Its kinda laggy and we should be able to customize the pics from our photo library cuz I know I have better pics of some of the fish Other than that ITS PERFECT KEEP ON ADDING NEW FISH                 Its about time

The species descriptions are copied directly from Wikipedia Which is free Save your money and go buy some fish instead     Wikipedia is free

You cant get a single resource that has everything this has and its a great tool for when you are out and need to get information on what you are looking at Great APP And support is awesome they respond quickly and timely                 Great Reference

I purchased this app mainly focusing on the price and the amount of mbs I made a huge mistake Im new in the saltwater tank hobby and I thought this would also give me info on what to do to stabalize the diffrent levels of chemicals but it did not This is an overpriced app and it doesnt cover many of the commen fish I see everytime in the pet store I hope they can make the updates quickly to improve the information until then I will keep my rating at one star I DID NOT WANT TO GET TO MUCH IN TO DETAIL BECAUSE NO ONE EVER READS LONG REVIEWS I will change my review according to their next upgrade whenever it is     Dont waste you money

As hobbies and Mgr of a shop you really need to put a bit more time in your fish coral and add crabs lobsters etc Into the app You may want to use Dr Birgesss marine aquarium fishes ATLAS it a great resource Keep up the updates thank you              Good app but still needs some work

This appears to be a resource app for a wide variety of tropical and marine fish but not much use for the average hobbyist The interface is confusing and difficult There may be more to this app but it would take some time to figure it out For us we will not spend more time on it waste of money     Confusing

This is a good app definitely worth downloading There is some incorrect info such as minimum tank sizes that are too small for the fish but overall its a good app I would like to be able to edit previously written profiles and make my own care sheets but since those are on the way i give this app a 5 out of 5                 Great app

I really like this app but I updated and still no sharks section I had to go buy it seperately for an extra 199 It says all my updates are installed but dont see any difference This is a great app and I use it all the time though Well worth the money for me Any suggestions              Where are the updates

I keep trying to get the free update but it said billing inquires but why would I need to pay for a free update plz fix and Ill rate five stars     Wont let me update

add more freshwater catfish plecos and cichlids And some of the common names of the fish are incorrect Fix this and i will give 4 stars maybe 5 PS this app needs more fish to be worth 1500 dollars           needs some work

They have pretty much and fish you can buy at petsmart I would like them to add a new section to freshwater called oddball fish cause Im sure most of those types of fish arent listed              Fish app

This app would be decent if it were 099 However at the price listed I expected much much more I do NOT recommend this app for any aquarist at any experience level not even for beginners        WAY Overpriced

Most of the descriptions are the same thing over and over again and very few actual have info on the exact species Really not very helpful at al for saltwater aquariums and has a lot missing and then has a lot of irrelevant information about fish that you would never keep in an aquarium APP might be ok fr 99 cents but is ridiculously over priced     Not good

To be honest you can get more and better information for free by using the search on Safari There is repeat after repeat in all sections Promised additions never happened Some of the most popular fish are not included I was extremely disappointed it is not worth the money     Not worth the money

Well this app would be great if it had more info Yes this app has a ton of info on it but I have found that there are still a lot of COMMON specimens missing This holds true for coral fish and inverts The tank log is very useful to keep up with water parameters Would have gotten 5 stars if I could have found more of the common specimens on it MAYBE there will be an update soon that will add more things to it and fix the lag problem Worth the money if you want a decent aquarium app Just my 2cents worth           Ok

This app is pretty usefull Allows you to track you levels has s decently sized collection of aquatic species and information on them The nice this about this app is that they are constantly making improvements to it and its only getting better as time goes on Worth the price tag alone for the ability to track levels of tank and have a fishinvert catalog              Started out lousy now very infomative and usefull

So I got this application because I needed something to keep track of all the fish I have in my multiple tanks this app quickly and efficiently helps me keep all the data I need Deffinately buy this this is equal to hundreds of dollars of aqautic books or hours of online research                 Awesome App

Was expensive at first with little info on corals and marine fish but with the updates the content just gets better It still needs common lps corals usually seen at your local lfs but all in all its a good source of reference Still waiting for the coral database to grow              Gets better with updates

I bought this thinking it would be full of info As a new aquarium owner I need all the help I can get But unfortunately it didnt have my fish in it Barbs can you believe it No barbs Very disapointing The info it does have is great It just needs more I wish it also contained aquarium setup and care info Ah well maybe in the future updates           Needs more common fish

Need work whith the photos and the clasification is hard to identificate the species in the photos But in general is better that carry whith a book to know someting about species in pet stores Please work hard whith this app Anythigh that makes our work less hard its good Dont be like childrens read more depend less of the words and more of youre mind           Good But need improvements

I like the interface and the database size is impressive Unfortunately all of the fish Im looking for are missing from the app Namely there are but 1 or 2 types of cichlid listed out of the hundreds typically found in aquariums It is almost like the author purposefully ignored an entire class of fish Please release an update soon with at least the 100 most common cichlids african and s american        Where are all the cichlids

The database keeps growing and growing This is sure to be the end all guide to fishkeeping apps I was equally impressed with the funtions built into this I expected little other than some walls of wikipedia text and instead found an app with lots of layers Keep up the good work This app is worth every penny                 Full of extremely useful functions

This is by far my most favorite tool on my IPhone With an extensive database and regular updates it is well worth the money The best 15 Ive spent at the App Store Also the creator actually answers emails about additions and updates and such and you dont see that kind of customer support anymore a welcomed change                 Incredible App for Aquarium Lovers

Very limited content For instance the common names of corals are either too vague or arent actually the common name There is just one entry for brain coral with a photo of the remains not a living coral same with some of the zoanthids in the space for the common name of any give item is usually the Latin name so pretty useless for something you need to identify The photos are low quality and in the case of coral are actually a photo of the skeletal structure of a bleached coral rather than a living healthy specimen Not entries for common corals like frogspawn torch hammer elegance etc No search feature no cross referencing no care guidelines A waste of money     Useless

Its a good try BUT unfortunately most pictures are very low resolution half the fish and coral common in the trade are not listed and the programming is a bit kludgy For example most of the app functionality is only available in portrait mode landscape mode is not very workable Use proper pictures eliminate the wonky reflection on all the pictures make the browsing easier with bigger pictures and list all the common names make the app functional in landscape finish putting in the other half of the database really no flame hawk or purple goby and then Id be happy to spend 499 but at 1499 Im definitely not happy with the purchase There are multiple web sites with better data that are free from my iPad and better than this app Sorry nice try someone should do it maybe one of the better book publishers will get around to it        Ok app

Nice app But could use a few things Common names used by hobbiest would be a big plus over scientific names Also needs more inverts such as crabs shrimp snails and such Also missing a few common corals I have in my tank such as kenya tree and pumping xenia If these few items are addressed and fixed this app will be totally worth the 15 dollar price           Not badbut needs improvement
