I like the reading interface but on my iPod Touch 4G it crashes oftensometimes randomly in other cases from a particular link eg a Fitz cartoon Wont replace the mobile website until its more stable           Slick but buggy

My iPhone hangs every time the app is started Waste of time Wish I could rate it 0 stars     Latest update stillborn

Dont waste your time Pure slop of a an app     Pure crap

Now it has happened to me I did the latest update and my trusty news app isnt working anymore please fix this your app is the first I open every morning to stay abreast of local news I want my news paper back     Not working anymore

It has performed poorly since I downloaded it a few weeks ago There was recently an update which was intended to shorten the time it takes to load ie show the Jim Click ad several days ago and the app hasnt worked since All the story fields are blank and none of the links work I keep waiting for them to fix it because there are so few local news options     Worst app Ive got

Takes you to the App Store for every story even if you dont touch the ad It never did that before     Hate it just deleted it

Just to read local news I have to endure a Jim Click ad that I cant click to skip Hate it Does it really take that long to load the news stories unlike all the other faster news sites I think we are just being duped into having to look at the ad for 30 seconds     No excuse

Previously a four star app Update of a couple of days ago killed the thing Wait for the next update     Recent update killed this app

Why offer an app that cant complete loading Guess this is really just an advertisement with a newspapers name     Major disappointment

It takes too long to load and over half of the screen is consumed with a sidebar menu with no way to close it Less than half of my screen has the news story and it is not wrapped within that tiny space so one has to move the story back and forth to read it Clunky execution     Clunky

App keeps closing on me so I cant even use it I wanted to do a search for an article but there didnt appear to be an option to search at least not that I could find that easily before the app shut down on me        Wish this app worked

It is annoying the reading pane is so small and the content isnt sized to fit Make reading difficult Otherwise a decent app Should be a simple fix Maybe hide the menu bar when an article opens Or at least size it to fit           Bad user experience

Ever since I did the most recent iPhone update the app will close just as the content loads I am assuming the two are connected Final result is that I cant read the paper on my iPhone at all And I agree with the other reviewer about the Jim Click ad there should get an option to skip it     Cant open since last iPhone software update

This app force opens the App Store on most articles Its annoying and worse its dishonest     Deleting

Finally ADS gives us an app but they give us this If it doesnt crash immediately then the buttons dont work at all I wont be wasting time with this until the next update if at all Thanks     Finallyjunk

Opening the APP produces a full page advertisement each time the APP is opened Incredible nuisance I would rather pay for an APP than suffer the same Car ad every time I want to check the news In addition the new update does not work There is no way to even see the news     StartUp ad excessive

Its taken such an inordinate amount of time for the ADS to produce an app for their newspaper youd think they would have spent the extra time making sure it was worth the wait No Although the Star is touting this app as a fullcontent version of their paper on the web it lacks one of the singular features that makes the Internet version so interesting the ability to comment directly on individual articles Without this feature the Starnet app and its content is merely mediocre The app constantly crashes It takes too long to load thereby guaranteeing Mr Click at least 10 seconds of screen time Inability to view some displayed content offered in editorial section but come to think of it not being able to view Fitzs daily vitriol can count as a plus Avoid this app and get KOLDs news app instead It has far better news coverage than any other Tucsoncentric source IMHO Plus it WORKS     Fails on so many levels

Loads faster All the content is there the mobile site wont load sports or business as of this review Not a big fan of the slideshow for Hansens column                 Better than the mobile site

Update even worse today than it was Buggy crashes unusable on iPad They promised a lot and delivered less than zero Dont bother downloading it Dont brother trying to use Menu does not swipe away so you can view stories full screen News organization is poor Search function is awful Dont waste your time It does not appear fixable     Poor quality

I almost didnt get this app because of a few whining cry babies moaning over a 20 sec ad Im glad I didnt listen because this a good app There is absolutely nothing wrong with it In fact it has so many additional features besides the news like weather traffic Im surprised its free Bottom line dont even hesitate to get this app it is a gem                 This is a good app

Good app just got the update and now the sports section just takes you to the latest section This bug needs to be fixed I would maybe add a crime section and the ability to zoom in the pic slide shows           Good app needs a couple things

Generally speaking its a good app It has the content I expected and is easy to navigate The only and major drawback is the speed impediment Each time the app is booted an add for Jim Click with the man himself smiling at you appears and watches while you wait for the daily content to be updated I have been using this app for a while and though promised in at least the last release note the speed issue remains unsolved As a result I often resort to apps provided by other local news providers           Its sloooooow

Great for iPod users Yes it takes a few seconds to load but then you can use it off line because it loads the whole paper So if your on a iPod its the best                 Great app

Careful it emails but you think its just locked up or something so you may send out tons of emails before giving up and finding out it sent out your email x a ton           Email feature is broken

Do not use the email a story feature First off it gives no indication that it sends the email So I sent like 10 emails of the same thing unknowingly to my boss Thanks Starnet Then it locks up so now the app is stuck on the send an email screen Sounds like Starnet needs to hire a competent developer     still has tons of bugs

Waiting 20 seconds to load todays headlines is kind of counterintuitive to the whole idea of a newspaper app Its faster to just load azstarnet from your mobile web browser AZ Star get some better developers for your app please     Wow

The app takes FOREVER to load while an ad for Jim Click is on screen The content is okay but the time to load the content is ridiculous        Marginal

Really 2030 seconds of an ad page before we can view the site itself Every single time we open the app Please Put the ad in a banner at the bottom of the screen and be done with it The ad page makes this app a joke     Not worth the time it takes to load every day
