I love this app I really do Strongly recommend May I suggest adding a microbe create and save microbes And make it soo we can Add natural elements that could damage a microbe or something This Awesome app is worth 2bucks At a minimum                 Love it

Artificial Life was very a fun game I enjoyed a lot but I do have some things i would like to see added 1 There should be a way to jump between family members of your protozoa on survival 2 I think it would be good if you could add a Chromosome command that lets your protozoa stick with its family and protect it 3 I think if you add a feature so that the protozoa are attracted to certain ones by physical characteristics like color This would show sexual selection one of Darwins mechanisms of evolution Those are some things i think should be added but even with out them it is still a vert fun game and really worth it to get              Liked it

Artificial Life HD is interesting but the sandbox mode does not work The game closes if I choose this mode The survival mode is fun I would like to see a larger set of choices to adapt your Protozoa        Interesting but not fully functional

The game is awsome Love it It could use a few more fetures though I was thinking aout a mapin one of tne corners that shows were the protazoa are and their color Also in sandbox mode it would be niceifthe selected protazoa not only showed up on the map but it alos highlighted the protazoas relatives And also maybe anouther window to the side tha told us which protazoa was what I still cant figure out what isrelative whatnis scavanger or prediter It would be nice if we could Also it would be nice o change the backround display Like maybe we could place a picture we have on our ipad as the backround And yes different looks over ime would be great as i saw in one review And would it be possible to have a save current sandbox mode or something so when done we can load upmthe sand box from whatnwe saved As i saw when i crashed earyer i hadto change all of my settings and stuff agian and start overis it possible that a windows and andriod OS version of the game could be made im geting a windows tablat pc sometime in the next week and would like to be able o putnhis game on their Thanks for the great game And for takeing the time tomread this post i can take my eyes off the ipad for a second lol im going to have quite a few late nights now watching this thing Its just so intresting imwas looking for somehing like this sens 2007 when i saw a tv show on sciance channle and a guy who made a thing simler to thismfor computer exeptninsted of little orbs he had octogans                 Awsome game and ideas

Very interesting to play with But it needs to allow the user to save profiles of usercreated worlds and Protozoa I also would like to have a gesture to adjust speed rather than having to stop the action and use the menu              Should be able to save profiles

This is an engaging app Please note though that protozoa is plural the corresponding singular is protozoan or protozoon I dont wish to nitpick but I do find that the error detracts from the experience of the app Im also not sure what families are It might be good to add an explanation to the documentation              Nifty app

This game really is a lot of fun I look forward to future updates I think adding an option allowing you to track various statistics would be cool For instance I think itd be interesting to track the number of Protozoa there are for each different familyspeciescolor youd be able to watch different types of Protozoa go extinct over time I also think itd be cool to see some sort of statistic tracking each protozoas lineagefor instance maybe you could track the number of offspring each Protozoa has or maybe you could identify the parents and siblings for each Protozoa Also the ability to manipulate food would be cool allow user to increase or decrease amount of food feast or famine sort of scenario I think more diverse appearances for the Protozoa would be nice Another idea would be to add the option for some sort of barriers to separate groups of Protozoa for a span of timeand then later removing barriers and integrating various species itd be fun to see which species are successful and which fail Overall this game is great It reminds me a lot of the old computer game Sim Life which was a lot of fun                 Very good

I really sould give it a 4 rating so developer doesnt stop here As a computer programmer that has dabbled with artificial life applications and code Artificial Life Lab for PC circa 1990 I think this app was done exceptionally well If you understand the underlying principles you will love it from a technical point of view I run it as a screen saver like app due to the pleasant background music and something for my eyes to rest on during short breaks from my computer The survival mode allows me to play it as a game as well Very good demo of emergent behavior                 Great Job

Its too bad I had to go drilling WAY into the app store to find this game Its actually pretty good Amazingly enough the developer wrote an honest accurate description The game is what it claims and its even a little more fun than it sounds 5 stars Not because the game is perfect or doesnt have flaws but because for once someone did something a little different and didnt completely fail at it I highly recommend it Ive purchased well over 100 of shovelware looking for something that I really dig This is one of the only games that Ive opened more than twice For the developer Please dont waste your time on free updates Make another high quality game Get paid Youre on the right track with giving players lots of easy to understand knobs and then providing access to deeper information If you had to make a sequel my only feedback would be MORE Unfortunately I figured out survival mode after awhile my little guy just wont quit I ran it all night and it didnt die But theres more than just surviving The next thing I tried to take on was making a race that would hunt itself into extinction No luck For some reason the population always caps out and my guys wont attack or breed anymore Is this because theres only an option to attack weaker creatures and everything is equally strong Maybe if the game exposed this information I could adopt a new strategy                 Rare App Store Gem

I do genetic research and study evolution this is an amaaaasing app and fun to watch very accurately depicts molecular evolutionary mechanisms A few features I might add SURVIVAL MODE LASTS UNTIL THERE ARE NO DESCENDENTS OF YOUR ORIGINAL PROTAZOA Also besides being able to make protozoa faster it would be cool if I could speed up time in sandbox mode Still 5 star app                 One Of my FAVORITE APPS

I like artificial life a lot and Ive liked it for a long time I originally discovered it for iPod and then rediscovered it in a perfected version for iPad This app is very relaxing and mind stimulating Its like a real ecosystem I do have one suggestion though You should add tribal mode where families or tribes all have the same look and color and basically stick together Tribes might form alliances or become enemies There could also be an alpha protanza who leads the tribe Tribes could split up to create new tribes also Aside but somewhat related to this families should be more easily distinguished as well families in the other modes of play I dont want to be mean but right now the family feature is sort of pointless because you cant even tell which protanzas is that the plural of protanza are related Unless Im missing something Anyway just a bit of constructive criticism In any case this is a great app for those who want something deeper than round birds slingshoted yes i know this is incorrect english at green pigs Great and unique sandbox and great graphics Keep up the good work                 Beautiful

This is a great application Thank you so much for making it I look foward to seeing what else you make and will glady pay out I dont understand why this is not a 5 star app One minor bug I did find in the application is in sandbox mode When protozoa mates it do not get 5 chromosomes from one parent and 5 from the other Perhaps the mutate probablility is to high or perhaps when you modify a chromosome the modification is not used for mating                 My Favorite Game App

Great app You basically get to play god Its amazing watching as the Protozoa evolve over time and become more equipped to survive The thing is as the Protozoa adapt and prosper the environment changes and a once strong Protozoa might go extinct Very complex and mentally stimulating                 Amazing app

Let me just say this is the most uniquely creative game I have ever played Its not perfect but Ive paid much much more for apps half as good as this I would definitely recommend this game              Fun and Unique

Game is amazing but the creatures looks need to change over time mabye even multicelled and creatures should be able to get different abilities claws poison etc but its breathtaking as it is                 Great game

IMHO this is the best interpretation of Conways Game of Life AI life sim and makes a good screensaverconversation piece                 Still one of my favorite apps

This is simply addictive to watch Ive been in Sandbox mode for several hours and its so exciting to see order arise from chaos through this model of evolution by natural selection I do wish it could be sped up so that you didnt have to wait so long to watch the organisms evolve or that it could at least keep going even when you werent using the app Wonderful app but I expect some updates in the near future                 Great simulation of evolution

Darwinism in action Watching the little lifeforms is mesmerizing intriguing and oddly compelling My only complaint is that the survival mode centers around only the first individual In my opinion it would be better to follow the species as a whole game over only happening when every descendant of your original handcrafted organism is extinguished An awesome simulator And game this is definitely worth your money especially if they continue to update it                 Brilliant

I like designing the perfect string of rules for two organisms and kill off all the others Then just sit back and watch them multiply and eventually branch off into different colors and families of organisms I hope more games of this sort are createdor at least this one gets expanded with more functionality Good job                 Good to just sit back and watch

Interesting idea but not exactly a true life sim If youre looking for a relaxing Zentype experience there are plenty of free meditation apps Watching a bunch of brightly colored dots chasing each other around a petri dish just doesnt cut it        Not quite Zen enough to be good

If you are a fan of TicTacToe Jersey Shoreand if Descartes is where you put your grocerys while shopping at Piggly Wiggly Perhaps you should look elsewhere Seriously this is not a game even though there is a Game mode but more of mental sand box Watch the evolution of predation vs grazers see how certain DNA ie code drives evolution reproduction Then watch as the same code becomes obsolete and new Species dominate Or the older population implodes under the stress of success or its inability to adapt Sound Familiar You wont find sinister expressions on nefarious creatures chasing little sad faced bunny rabbits The graphics are far from killer But the the brain candy sure is tasty Hope the tongue and cheek humor didnt offend anyone but I doubt they would have read this far anyway                 Great Think Piece

This game is amazing compared to other evolution games out there For an update I recommend more complex behaviors and hopefully custom physical speed strength and time possible to last without food With that this would be the best app for strategic gamers Also please add a priority for behaviors              great potential

I love this app the idea of being able to create my own lifeform if great Ive lost hours trying to create that perfect hunter or a clan of protozoa but I havent quite gotten that one yet For survival mode you do all the work upfront deciding on your set of chromosomes and then sit back and watch life play out definitely the best mode In sand box mode there arent too many options but still fun to watch and get good ideas for how to play in survival mode I would love to see more options for the chromosomes and perhaps seeing an evolution tree of your offspring see what genes passed down and what was changed Perhaps more ways to change the living environment as well All in all its awesome I look forward to see what else is added                 Awesome

I recently became interested in artificial life ALife and went looking for an iOS app This one is the best ALife simulators I have seen yet including full PC apps The UI is interesting and intuitive and the control mechanisms are complex enough to make the simulations interesting If you like ALife or sims get this app A little more technical depth in the help files would be useful but isnt required to enjoy the app                 Great Sim

One of the better ALife simulators Ive ever played with and Ive played with quite a few Each protozoas behaviors can be understood by anyone and tweaked so easily allowing you to waste quite a bit of time creating your own protozoa and seeing how long they survive and how well they do in their designed niche Mesmurizing to watch it has the same allure as watching fish in a tank It is a perfect little background distraction while you work at your desk but it can also be used as a fun interactive tool to teach a child how genetics and evolution work It would be nice if after you edit or create a protozoa you can save its template and recall it again to revise it after seeing how well it did It can be cumbersome to have to recreate a list of behaviors every time as I attempt to tweak my protozoas design My only real complaint is that the hiding behavior can get a little out of control and impact the games performance Nearly a hundred protozoa can occupy a single hiding spot in a dense mass Since the protozoa are transparent the game slows to a crawl as it attempts to chew through alpha channel calculations It can be remedied now by wiping out the mass of protozoa with the Finger of Death or simply moving the viewer so the mass is not in view but I hope for a better programmatic solution in the future I hope to see development continue on this game being expanded with new environmental elements behaviors and more complicated systems to govern or affect those behaviors              Amazing Fish Tank Simulation

Love this game Particularly Survival Mode Players can set their own winning goals Make a Super Predator or see how big you can grow your family Bug Reports Survival Mode 1 Player must Begin then exit app restart and continue Game in Progress in order for Family Size count to increase when mating is successful Else stays at 1 no matter how many times Protozoa spawns 2 Maximum population size is moot Population never ranges more than or 5 from the minimum population setting Note This skews game heavily in favor of Predator survival mating Would love some fixes an update but will continue to enjoy regardless              Addictive
