Ashes is an RSS reader fueled by Shaun Inman`s Fever . Ashes is a sleek and beautiful Universal app hand-crafted for your eyes. Easily read through your Kindling your normal feeds or get a quickly glimpse ...
Very good Probably the best client app available for Fever A few things that could be nice Landscape support for iPhone Viewing alt text on images Not having to jump to the Instapaper app to just save a link              Very good
Has all the key features for using Fever Hot Sparks Saving Greeting sharing options Quick load of feeds I gave it a 5star though it still needs a little tuning Great work for version 11 I have been a fever user for several years and used most of the apps available for Fever This one is great because of iPhone and iPad support Others dont have that strength                 Nice addition to Fever mix
As a recent Fever convert I was anxiously waiting for any iPad app to support it Ive been following Ashes progress for a few weeks and was excited when it was released On mY iPhone 5 performance is better but still suffers from some animation stutters as well as slow touch sensitivity On the iPad mini how beer the app in its current version is borderline unusable It misses 80 of finger taps and swipes and when it does scroll it jumps whole pages with single swipe motions Im hoping the pending 11 update improves iPad mini performance because I want to like this app Looking forward to the next release Update the 11 update has squashed almost all the bugs I saw in the prior version and has greatly improved performance on the iPad mini This is a daily use app and I whole heartlessly recommend it Keep the updates coming                 Great strides
Slow performance on iPad 2 and iPhone 5 Flaky back gesture Waiting for an update to resolve these issues        Not quite ready
The previous version of this app was a crashfest but the latest version is quite usable It no longer crashes every time you run the app and I have only found one bug so far As you move from item to item using the down arrow the feed name and post date do not change Worth buying              Has improved considerably
The issues with scrollswipe lags have been resolved Ashes looks to be the perfect app for Fever Looking forward to whats to come for future updates                 Great update
Finds the Fever server and acts like it loads fine but crashes whenever you try to look at an article Avoid until they get a fix out     Dont Do It Just Crashes
It works well doesnt crash There are a few missing things cant swipe to the next story as far as I can tell doesnt let you hide empty folders in the sidebar Im sure these are fit finish things that will be addressed in later versions Generally good no long to go before it becomes great              Good fever client
This is hands down the best Fever client Enough said                 The best fever client for iOS
The app loads feeds slowly and with little notification of what progress is being made The UI is slow to respond and doesnt offer next article scrolling only opting for navigation buttons only I wish this were a bit more customizable as Im not a fan of the colors and would prefer to pick a different font to read articles in Lack of font sizing is also a bummer as I prefer larger fonts It does work with Fever and is iPad compatible I would hope the developer realizes that Reeder for ipad and Mac both have plans to support Fever in future releases and while not to be threatening he really needs to make sure his product can stand toe to toe with potential competition in terms of overall experience 8 is a lot to ask for what I had hoped would be more           Wished it was better
Please fix the crashes the interface is probably the best ive seen but it is very unstable on my 5s Also it would ve nice if you added mark as read as you scroll           Much to like
App is good enough but maybe too overpriced for its number of glitches I guess because there is not much other Fever apps on the market except two well known Specifically it doesnt work good when data connection is poor or absent Instead of quite offline mode it just goes crazy Doesnt mark items read shows popups lost gesture etc So dont count on it for a airplane or underground reading           Not bad
App wont run after update Splash screen comes up then app crashes     Current version crashes on launch
I enjoy Ashes general approach to iPhone and iPad UI and it feels nice and readable to me overall but it currently requires an active connection for readsave actions Basically while it caches articles just fine offline reading it wont actually mark things AS read or saved when offline Once it becomes a better offline client for me and my underground subway commutewhere 90 of my reading is doneIll come back to using it but for now Ill have to use another Fever client              Good start
Nice update seems smoother in syncing and havent had any random crash yet Had a few while syncing with past version Prefer this Fever reader over most others Great reading display nice clean app syncs pretty fast and reliably A few improvements could be made with more gestures and adding a dark theme for night reading I dont find the icon to be the coolest but whatever           Nice iphone Fever reader
