This app looks great nice layout but I could never connect and I can only assume there is no mechanism to accept a self signed certificate Too bad             Does not handle self signed certs StrawHousePig

I m using this with Kerio Connect 9 2 1 and the XMPP service that s included with it I m pleased with simplicity of setting up this client but I have at least two reservations as far as recommending this app 1 I don t see anywhere that logs of conversations are saved and accessible for looking at my own IM history 2 I can t figure out how to connect to an existing chat group only the ability to create a new group to which none of my coworkers seem to be able to join since the error message they get says they are not members of the group If those two issues can be addressed then this would be the best XMPP client I ve tested on iOS so far                 It s OK with a couple of minor issues Amerist

I am using AstraChat from last few weeks for gmail chat gtalk It works well and good app for my requirement Here are few of my issues 1 status does not reflect like gmail chat even though user is away this app shows as available 2 contacts which were deleted from gmail chat still shows up in this app 3 cannot delete user                 Works well for gmail chat SKChandra

Great and it works However when connected it shows status as offline even when I am online and I am sending messages to other users This can be confused by other users thinking that I am offline Also it does not connect to conference room It does not bring additional feature such as the password for that room             Can t turn off offline status Talkonaut User

The reviews got my hopes up that there would finally be an adequate persistent XMPP client for iOS but the other reviews for previous versions are entirely correct MUCs channels chat rooms still aren t supported Worse given that it s the year 2016 it s an iPhone app so trying to run it on my iPad Pro leaves vast tracts of black space where there could have been useful conversation if it worked Talkonaut may still be the least bad iOS client It s not persistent this is hard in any iOS app because of Apple s design decisions but at least it connects and handles MUCs     iPhone Sized App Still No MUCs chat rooms Lorrie W.

Me result muy f cil configurar la cuenta con nuestro servidor OpenFire permite enviar im genes muestra sin problemas el estado de los contactos carg autom ticamente la lista de contactos tiene un tama o peque o y env a notificaciones Se debe mejorar la parte de env o de im genes porque no funciona cuando el teclado est desplegado y no admite opci n para editar la cuenta                 Muy bueno hasta el momento Inti Soto

The previous version did not connect to my server so this one is a definite improvement Still needs some work though Notifications are not working The screen is not formatted for iPhone 6 All the widgets are too big There is a lot of wasted screen real estate I need to group my contacts into folders I need group chats Is Kerberos or GSSAPI authentication possible             Connects now but needs some polish CS1870
