Saw this app on Facebook and decided to give it a try I have a Bushnell Velocity gun that I normally use during baseball practice or my 13 yr old son s pitching practice This app is way better and much easier to use I purchased the higher velocity in app purchase 11 99 due to my son throwing harder than 35 40 mph The regular app is free Set up was super easy they have an instructional video if you need it Based on their side by side comparison video YouTube it s more accurate than my Bushnell gun too The Bushnell gun didn t readout about 25 of the time and so far this app hasn t missed once My son tried off speed fastballs and breaking balls and it picked up every pitch from the mid 40s to the upper 60s This app works great                     Works great Jrscoach

I saw an article on this app written up by Inc Magazine and just had to try it out I had a little pitching contest with my nieces and nephews while they were in town for a visit To my surprise my 16 year old niece was able to pitch almost as fast as me her marathon running gold metal athlete uncle I definitely recommend downloading this app It was easy to use and a lot of fun for my family Who knows maybe you ll find some hidden talent in yours I can only imagine that users with negative reviews either didn t watch the setup tutorials or are trying to use the app in environments with too much background movement because it works great for me                     Definitely a fun app for the family TheJustan

I ve used this app many times with my 11yo select player If you set it up exactly how the directions tell you to you will see how great and accurate the app works It s also a great motivator When my son doesn t want to work bullpen I tell him i ll set up the radar and we can see if he can beat his fastest throw That usually gets him off the couch It s also great because I can see his fastball progress he can hit 60 regularly but when working on his change up it s good to have a quantifiable tool to show him how much slower his change should be from his fastball We aim for 45 mph and ensure mechanics are the same as the fastball Without this app it would be a lot of guessing about what it working and what isn t Highly recommend the full app                     Great tool Gilmore42

Ok so this app would probably be great in a perfect setting not good for in game radaring you need to be in a well lit area so practice at night it works but maybe at 50 and i think the timing is a little off Heres an example my son who is 12 probably can throw a baseball around 45 50 mph the radar gun would slip about 40 of the time and say he just through 93mph or 110mph lol there is no way he can throw that hard and its constantly freezing i feel like i wasted 15 on this for nothing     Great in perfect settings trey vince

I downloaded the free version to give it a try The max my daughter hit was 35 She has been clocked at 43 48 with a radar gun Now I know that they say the max for the free is 40 mph My expecations was to see the app do whatever it does when the speed is ABOVE the max aka say over Max Be blank or just read the max number 40 I got a few questions into their support to see why the free was only hitting 35 when my daughter has hit 45 mph It could be explained so I am not going to give this a bad review but won t give it a great reveiw until I hear back from them It definately does detect the ball speed Her change up was slower than her fast ball I threw some slow ones and it read 22mph I just don t know how accurate it is It could be a good tool just to say You are faster than that person or Your change up is X mph slower than your fast ball SO 3 stars it is Until I hear back from them UPDATE I heard back from the company within a few hours If you don t send a friend request email the max speed for free app is 35 It goes up to 40 after friend request When the speed is higher it says Greater than 40 but displays 40 It is enough to for me to buy the full version                     Free Version Max 35 mph Pooge30

Have a tough time using this outdoors if there s any type of breeze blowing The app tells me that there s too much motion going on so won t take a reading If the phone is moving at all then you will not be able to get a reading So it s not that often that I can go out on the field and bot have some type of breeze that will disrupt the phone It s very hard to read the screen on the iPhone after a ball goes by The brightness of the readout numbers between the background is not very good The best thing to do is link between two smart phones so you can have the reading in your hand as seen the ads instead of trying to read the one that s on the ground             Picky Hellsredsled

Couldn t get this thing to work AT ALL Paid 8 for baseball nothing No matter where I placed my phone no matter how it positioned never got one single reading always an error about too much motion Funny that there is a video on the company s website that shows the primary camera being used yet the app only uses the front camera And there is ZERO visibility to where you are pointing the phone because there is no picture displayed back only the black screen ready to display speed yet but the blinking red dot saying too much motion I can t believe the total lack of anything useful DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MESS     Waste of Money TypicalUserHere
