Initially I loved the app that is until I listened to my recording in my car I drive a Jeep Wrangler with a nice stereo system so I knew that wasn t an issue The sound is very faint and I can barely hear myself I have top of the line microphone set up and I knew that wasn t a problem either I wish this app offered the option to adjust how loud your playback is of the recording     Audio Book Fire Regg

I used this app to record lectures during class I d record save and plan to listen to them later while studying I recorded a total of 9 lectures and only 3 saved The other 6 should have been over an hour long and the duration next to the recording literally said 0 00 about a week later I never write reviews but the lectures I recorded were very important to me and I hope no one else has to experience this     Just use another app Student0511

A very basic recorder Preferences are more about marketing than configuring the app Being able to record system sounds would be useful         Seems more interested in marketing than functionality MaineWebDad

I had never used or needed an audio app until I started working on a project for my graduate class This is easy to use and incorportate into any presentation I was using prezi I m hoping it works with powerpoint too I like the simplicity of using it                     Easy to use and very efficient blr17

When I first tried to use it there was no sound I did not see a way in preferences to set the input nor did I realize my input had been changed to Soundflower There was no FAQ I could find So I wrote Fliplab The response was almost immediate with the solution going into my machine preferences instead simple but I am no computer expert I love that it was so quick I agree there needs to be keyboard shortcuts But the output is great and does what it says 5 Stars will be the rating when the prefs are improved or the setup help is and when there are keyboard shortcuts built in                 Works nicely when set up right tfrohl

This app is very simple No bells or whistles Just click on the microphone and you are recording click again and you can stop it Gives you a choice to save in aif or mp3 Can t beat it for the price of free Word to designer you should add a quickkey start stop and pause and while you are at give a choice of what input to use                 Easy recording SoundBroker

Yes it grabs your voice when you speak into your mic Would have been more excited if there was an option to record system sounds that would make it useful for recording Skype calls and other webinar stye stuff which is 90 of what I do Won t replace my current solutions Also a little worried about longish recording sessions will have to see if it can handle 1 hour recordings nothing to indicate that either way             It does what it says C0MPASS

Having an instant start audio record would be a very good tool I like the simplicity of this app and it shows promise However we need a few important options I d like to see 1 Ability to choose input sources and output destinations Many of us use external microphones or have multiple displays and therefore multiple microphones 2 Ability to choose preferred destination path for recordings 3 Auto naming of recordings by time date That would allow users to start stop recording without immediately having to go through the file naming process 4 Keyboard hot key combination to start stop recording             Promising but missing important preferences Ron Burley
