Ive been looking for something like this for a long time Its really simple it works great and doesnt crash I was surprised it even loads video files The developer is super nice too I requested that he change a feature in the settings and he implemented it in this version Bravo                 Highly Recommended

Best tool Ive ever seen for learning a song by ear Hands down Using the scrubber to analyze the keyboard spectrum reveals every subtle note hiding inside every complicated chord The only complaint I have about this app is that it will rob me of the satisfaction of finding those notes on my own This thing is suddenly indispensable Well done                 Incredible

I try to choose a song but the app freezes If it does go to the music list it freezes too or if it does not freeze it just gives me the white screen I am running the latest version of apple on an iphone 5s                 What happened

My badagain Seems my original PCs email to this Apps developer Gerry Beauregard got Macrejected and thus somehow lost in the shuffle Once it turned up Gerry immediately contacted me updating me on the history of the App the revisions in progress the newer applications for professional musicians broadcasters etc etc He was extremely responsive to my suggestions all of which were already in the works to bring this incredible app to even broader appeal and has many new additions planned This has turned out to be a five star product from a five star developerit deserves a five star review Dr K                 Final Update

This app is great It does pretty much everything I need it to do to figure out vocal and instrumental parts from songs Wait for the song to load completely before doing anything When I didnt the audio glitched I tried Knowing This Remix by Kye Kye and I was able to figure out most of both the heavily filtered harmony vocal by using the left minus right audio mode and the rapid synth keyboard part by slowing it down and using left minus right mode Thats phenomenal to me I once had an mp3 player with a broken headphone jack that basically did the same thing as the left minus right mode It actually helped me learn the harmony parts for songs I knew and taught me basic harmonization I am so thrilled to find an app that does the same thing Also this app has a keyboardspectrum which lets you see all the fundamental frequencies as bars over piano keys If you pay attention you can sometimes pick out which bars are which instruments or vocals For example when the vocalist from Kye Kye slides to a different note in Knowing This Remix you can see a bar sliding in time over the keyboard Theres two bars when theres a harmony part with the main vocals All in all I think this is an awesome app for musicians singers sound engineers and music producers It lets you analyze songs with a waveform and basic spectrum analysis view and listen songs in several different audio modes pitches and speeds You can even drag the waveform like a turntable to adjust the speed on the fly with the audio moving in forward dragging to the left reverse dragging to the right or time freeze holding your finger in place A suggestion I have for the developers is to add the option to choose between waveform only keyboardspectrum with waveform view a more advanced spectrum analysis view with frequencies listed an oscilloscope and maybe a sonogram view As long as that doesnt slow it down or greatly increase the size of the app If it would do that it would be better not to have those options Also maybe put a loading message somewhere on the screen while the song loads Just a thought Great job developers Thanks for a such a well designed and functional app                 Nicely done

There is a God I know because Ive been praying for an app like this one that doesnt digitally distort when one applies the key changes or tempo adjustments Im a guitar teacher and lots of my students need sound clips of Eruption or Back in Black slowed down to their current ability This app does it perfectly Wish I could give it more than 5 stars It deserves them                 Holy God in Heaven

I love this app I use it all the time for learning songs for stage The ONLY thing that could make it better for me is to have variable pitch by cents in addition to halfsteps The reason is that quite often I get set lists via YouTube links and quite often the videos are simply footage of records being played This is common for Reggae The issue is slightly off speed out of tune songs to learn This would make learning songs a lot easier In addition to the halfstep button Incorporate a cents slider Thanks for a great app                 Almost Perfect

This app is designed to work out songs and it is great fir that however using the open in functionality as a musician you can import your own sounds and mess with them This app has great potential for more experimental musicians who want to manipulate a sample waveform in pitch speed and time without any kind of glitch in the sound A great app that would benefit greatly from Audiobus or Inter App Audio support              Flawless Sound Manipulation

Such simple things as apps that are not overly complicatedyet accomplish complicated tasks This is it Thanks Mr Developer for constantly making it better and better One wish I wished I could say for example when slowing down a track be able to know at what tempo in beats per minute BPM the file has been brought down or up to Say I import a nice guitar track that I recorded at 128 BPM but want to bring it down to 110 I wish there was a way to know what the new BPM is Thanks in advance                 Amazing app It simply works Thanks

Great app Love the concept and the keyboard spectrum option but what it needs is a volume equalizer to single out certain components of the song ie the bass then the melody then the harmony and to block out unneeded sounds If this was implemented the app would be phenominal              Potential

If you are a musician and are looking for a tool to help you transcribe those really fast solos look no further this app is indispensable and is an amazing time saver It works exactly as you would expect it to and has the functionality you need to slow down the speed of the music which you may easily load from your music library without changing the pitch scrub back and forth or loop over difficult passages until you can get the notes It also displays a piano keyboard that indicates the notes frequencies at a given point in time as the music is playing Truly a phenomenally useful and well designed app Thank you so much                 One of most useful apps for a musician that is out there

I use AudioStretch for calling square dances Ive tried all the slowdown apps and loopmaking apps and AudioStretch is the best Finetuning the starts and ends of loops is easy and super accurate by moving the waveform display Tempo adjustments on the fly to accommodate slower dancers is easy with the 5 buttons The support team is friendly and responsive This is an app I cannot live without                 Best slow downer and looper ever

I have used this for awhile with iOS 8 and it works fine Im glad I paid my 5 I really like the pricing structure too where you can try the app for free to be sure it does what you need then pay a little when you are ready to commit                 It works

Ive been using audiostretch for a while now to copy and modify audio files on my iPhone but the updates in the past few months have been phenomenal providing more alternatives and options Great app with a creator who obviously cares about updating                 Love this app

This app has the goods It is all that and a bag of chips Ive been an audio file for well over 50 years and Ive never seen The likes of this app It is just something else I can listen to foreignlanguage songs slowed down so that I can get the correct pronunciation of words and phrases Also I can simply understand what it is theyre saying so much better Its really helping me in my quest to learn Korean Also it is truly amazingto listen to songs made into ballads its just wonderful you just have to buy this app to understand what I mean Listening to my music through this app has made my music library brandnew especially the ballad tracks and lush orchestrals I seldom review an app without being asked to but this one really merits the effort I really love it and I dont even know how to fully use it yet A hearty thank you to the developers                 BOY HOWDY

This app was cool when they first released it and they keep improving it Great sound quality very easy to use It is good for learning songs or creating new sounds out of existing songs But my favorite thing is just listening to favorite songs at different speeds or in different keys to experience them in a new way Kind of like playing a vinyl at the wrong speed but with more options Another thing I like to do with it is listen to lectures I download a lot of lectures and books on tape Sometimes you have a teacher who talks to fast or too slow and this was you can adjust the speed Maybe you have a professor with a squeaky annoying voice pitch it down Makes it easier for me to pay attention                 Great app

Those essential apps for any iOS musician everybody knows them Audiobus Audioshare Midibridge Im here to say that that theres a new essential in town and its no other than Audiostretch The quality of the pitchshifting and the artifactfree timestretch is superb As a utility that is its first caveat As a creative tool it can reveal a universe of beautiful sound you never would have expected in the short or long audio file youve loaded The live scrubbing is a great joy and it has phenomenal integration with Audiocopy and the bus so there are no hassles or workaroundsalmost Ive imported several bpm specific loops and both transposed and shifted it If there were a simple calculator that could indicate the new bpm with the original bpm of course being known by the user this would really be logical as further development Audiostretch is the foremost shifting pitching and stretching tool for iOS and as such would reward users tremendously with a bpm clock I hope the developer will take this request into consideration                 Count this indispensable

Time and pitch are fully independent and it sounds great I cant wait to try with AudioBus Simple and straightforward                 Ive been waiting for an app just like this
