Audulus can do anything It s the most enjoyable synthesizer I ve used and feels leaps and bounds better than other virtual modulars Once you learn the workflow it s immensely rewarding to create your own modules and combine them to create your own synthesizers Highly recommend                     Super powerful johndjameson

I know this is geared toward modular synthesis but you can build anything with this app I have an old Maestro Echoplex tape delay that I m always trying to replace with a more convenient pedal All pedals out there are lacking in one degree or another but none of them replicate the distortion when you overload the input by leaning heavy on a volume pedal Well I was finally able to create that effect with Audulus You can mix any sound to any other sound have it all controlled with a volume envelope Distortions in Audulus sound as good as Bias FX and are far more flexible All the basics are there to build any type of modulation delay reverb way pedal etc The only thing it s lacking for guitar is built in guitar amp cab modeling I m confident you CAN pull it off with Audulus if you know enough about how to get that sound I use AUM to route Audulus to Bias amps and control it all with MidiDesigner It s the best multi FX unit I ve had completely customizable to my liking                     The best guitar FX app on IOS Fidel Assthrow

That s a line from the Audulus documentation and it is 1000 accurate This app is hands down the best iOS app I ve ever used of any kind period It s interface is revolutionary The sounds you can make are endless and truly limited only by your imagination For instance I was curious about how formant filters worked what they did to the bass guitar at the beginning of Livin on a Prayer I went from a Wikipedia article to directly implementing those ideas in Audulus to make my own morphing formant filter from scratch in about a week of playing with Audulus on my iPad while laying in bed You can download my formant filter as well as about a bazillion other amazing things on the Audulus forum which is an amazing and fertile user community Best money I ever spent in the App Store                     Finger painting with ideas plurgid

Today I showed it off to some friends at work 3 3 immediately put in a purchase for this app For anyone who loves to tinker this is heaven You can build from the lowest level components ore assemble various patches into turn key modules It also is a great tool box for experimenting with digital and analog logic One friend is going to port his 4 bit computer from a digital simulation he did recently to Audulus just for the fun of it This tool can spur a huge music module maker community that will be amazing I haven t tried it yet but it can interface to the real world MIDI instruments and become part of your performance platform                     The most amazing sound app ever CodePilot
