Aura

The first time I fired this up I lost track of time for about half an hour I have Bloom and Synthpond Aura is similar to them but seems to keep me a little more entertained Recomended if youre into this kind of thing One issue is that there is a little static when things get busy              Where did the last 30 minutes go

Very nice and pleasant app for when its time to sit back and zone out Very soothing and pleasant to listen to                 Great and relaxing

Ive also played with Synthpond I find Aura allows me to more easily produce interesting music Unlike most audio apps this one doesnt override the autolock setting on my iPod touch That means either I have to change the setting myself just to accomodate the one app or have the app shut down after a few minutes of unattended play It really needs that ability in the Listen mode           Nice generative music app

I just bought it today and turned out to be really nice app the music is perfect Creates a very relaxing ambient                 Awesome

Aura is a wonderful app Its got more control than Bloom and is more visual than SynthPond two apps which I love its like the best blend of the two Now I have a new app that I love more Aura can be a bit confusing to learn at first the little auras on the outside i didnt get but I found that I learned it fairly quickly Nice good job                 Delightful experience

This is one of the most beautiful apps on the market for the iPhone this far Anyone who wishes to have a relaxing ambient sound in the backeound to meditate think Or just relax after a hard day then this app is for you and I highly recomend it The only reason y I gave this app a 3 is because of how you have to manage it From this point forth I am speaking directly to the developers This app is beautiful but can be better heres how 1 When making my own music I dont like how it inevitabley fades away just leaving the aura noise This upkeep in melodic structure means I cant sit back and listen to a creation of mine for more than I few minutes if that A way to fix this problem is to create an update that will allow you to create and save your own music Be sure to keep it intuitive indepth and simple 2 Also when It comes to making your own music have a way you can manage the timeing of the pings better So it starts ends and restarts when you want it also add a loop option for every melody of pings designed 3 By incorperating this along with a simple record save function you may have created the most beautiful music program for the iPhone this far Also as a way to save memory and just as a good idea in general Make it so you can upload you creations to iTunes so you can listen to them on your computer and share them with your friends I know this may take a while and may be dificult to do But the iPhone can handle it good luck and keep up the good work           Beautiful

But it could use some updates Better graphics more colors sounds and improved sound option for more noisesfor 5 stars              Really sweet sounds

It sounds much better than I thought it would It reminds me a bit of a ReacTable invention in the Science Museum in Chicago Reactable has beats within in it as well But sure cant fir in the palm of your hand and im sure it costs thousands Great App                 Lush

i admit at first i was a little put off by the cartoonish shapes and bright colors in the screen shots but after playing with it for a while i am really impressed by the depth and richness of the sounds Aura produces the unusual controls are a little confusing at first but once you get used to them you actually have a lot of control over the volume pitch timbre and timing of the sounds produced the slowly morphing background drone sounds great and the melodies are very mesmerizing to play the selfgenerating listen mode is quite pleasant to listen to as well highly recommended for all synthbased ambient music fans                 one of my new favorite ambient apps

Def worth the dollar I could play this all day Will keep you entertained and calm for days                 Wow This is a calming dollar spent

I bought this app a long time ago and I can honestly say Ive been getting my moneys worth It hasnt been updated in a while so theres no iOS 4 retina display optimization theres no multitasking and no universal iPad binary or iPad version But it still manages to transport me to far away worlds every time I fall asleep and for that it gets 5 stars                 Nothing else quite like it

It will not start at all I do not know how this made it out of QA     Unstable at best

What a provocative app You have two choices sit back and listen or get involved in what you are hearing Either way you come away with feeling good Its so simple to use yet sounds complex This app is well designed Its a steal at 99 cents I would have still felt good if it cost 999 Just think you will have this at your disposal at any time you may need to kick back Its wonderful with headphones and still sounds great without Its like a mental massage ready when you are an so much cheaper Dont even hesitate if youre thinking about this one Also dont forget to reboot your device before you attempt to use it I forgot to and it stopped on me before I got the program to open Its been flawless since that first time LOVE IT Gotta go now and get my mental massage                 An auditory delight

The first ambient app Ive bought Completely stable on my 3gs no problems at all I could listen to the morphing drone for a very long time without getting tired Great for drowning out loud conversations while helping you towards a state of bliss Plenty of control in a unique inspiring and somewhat playful interface Well worth the 99 cents                 Very relaxing

The simplicity and quality of ideas and sound make for a great app for musicians and nonmusicians Fascinating enough to keep one up hours I used Aura for 90 minutes the night prior to this review litereally lost in time For 099 it is a great deal and can be helpful to those interested in learning about music but even if you dont care it doesnt matter Since the app takes the approach of music as mechanics and stays within very tight scalic algorithims you will find a mostly pleasant sonic experience although there is plenty here to enable serious interactive compositions Simply amazing and exceptionally inexpensive                 Good Value Great interactive composition program

IHay now heres an interesting app many ways to produce music with that neverending cosmic beat Once ya start learning how everything works its great Scales and notes an all Visions of image and sound controlled by you makes this one a keeper Lookin forward to the next version Baba Booey to ya all Seedyh        Peace an luv

This app has changed the way I relax Pop in your headphones open Aura up tilt your body back and just embrace the wonderful sounds pulsating through your frantic mind Plus the ability to make your own melodies makes this app exponentially better than anything else ambient out there A must buy                 One of my favorites

I am addicted to this app I am using it as backing music when talking on my FM radio show It is perfect ambience Meditative and absorbing     awesome

Its an amazing application but it crashes too much and freezes up my phone almost every time              Good but sad

But while more complex it needs a few features such as a numerical value attached to tempo There is also a latency and audio pop associated with more complex arrangements However I really appreciate the direction this app has headed           A New Bloom

Not sure what the other reviewers were listening to when they rated this so highly I believe the idea is good but its executed poorly I experienced quite a bit of static while listening with 200 headphones The graphics on the interface are poor if you look close the lines on the circle are jagged needs to be addressed I cannot not recommend this until all the bugs are worked out At this time Bloom is your best option     Static
