Auto Miles - Automatic Mileage Log and Mile Tracker

I have been using the app for a few weeks and found it to be the best app I have Works great It actually simplifies my life and is helping me save money in my taxes Love it It works better than the more expensive app and is well worth the 499 price BUY IT                 Great App

A small one time fee and everything is automatic Sweet                 EASY TO USE I LOVE IT

But doesnt work if you are driving Amazing how it stopped working properly as soon as the free trial was over and I paid for it It would be great if it actually did what they claim     Works fine if you are walking

The autotrip detection works very well This is a better mileage tracker than I hoped to find and the price is awesome                 One Low Price for Life

I see from other reviews that the most recent iOS update seems to have ruined it because it is now worthless I spend more time deleting all the trips it auto logs when the car is parked Also its almost impossible to edit an entry Just have to delete it and reenter Pity because when it works its easy and quite helpful     What a disappointment

Told me I took several drives today just from walking around the back yard Too sensitive     Doesnt track well

I like the set and forget nature of this I dont want to log things manually This has great potential and I like the wish list that they keep updating to tell you whats being worked on                 So far so good

I tested this app by writing down odometer readings before and after trips and compared it with the applications GPS auto logging The app tracked on average 510KM less for each trip 510KM a day per annum is pretty significant     Tracking is not accurate

Very good app Would be perfect if it launched automatically without having to run in the background which significantly drains the battery life Also the reports dont include the city just a street address When I am doing my expense reports I have to refer to the map to know where I was              AM

Great app in principle but Im still having problems It no longer logs separate entries while Im sitting still but now it doesnt know when Ive stopped even when Im at my destination for an hour           Better but still not working as advertised

This is a very affordable and elegant app for tracking miles whatever your reason may be I really like the interface the gps works great or manually inputing the addresses As much as I really like this app I am hoping for a new update soon Hopefully the creators will add a calendar mode i forget to track my miles sometimes a lot of times and want an overview of the weekmonth allow a history log or something so i dont have to write the same address over and over again Otherwise its wonderful and worth the money              Really Like it But

Two days ago I made four separate trips with at least several minutes between them This paid app logged only two of them Today I drove 18 miles app logged only the last 24 miles Not reliable Not recommend        Works sometimes

This is a great and helpful app only down side is Sometimes this app just logs miles while sitting at my desk at work which means lots of deleting false information Once they fix that it will be the perfect app              Works great most of time

Beautiful interface but performance wise has some flaws It is great on battery usage which was my main concern and I like how it provides start and end addresses and not just cities like some apps However it frequently breaks up one drive into multiple drives even though I didnt stop except at lights when other mileage apps I had running at the same time did not For my most recent drive it didnt log it at all even though the app was running in the background I also dont like how it automatically assumes all drives are for business instead of asking me to categorize them so if Im not on top of changing personal drives to other every day I have to tap through each day and double check each drive and change my personal ones versus other apps that provide me a list of just uncategorized drives that I can quickly categorize with one swipe or tap I also wish there were an option to export a specific years worth of info ie just 2015 instead of having to manually change the start and end date of the export every time I do it since most people are probably using this for their taxes but thats my most minor complaint Im keeping the app for now in hopes of an update but I wont be using it again until then           Has flaws

This app should in theory be fantastic I really wanted to like it truly However if you are a short distance worker uber etc its worthless It takes a good amount of time for the GPS to kick in and track and doesnt track your trips accurately Many times it will completely miss a trip which makes the whole automatic logging idea a pain as you have to check each trip to make sure it logged I spend more time trying to fix mistakes than if I were to just log it manually Also it is a battery hog so you have to keep it off unless you are using it Long story short dont waste your time unless you are doing long business trips The only reason I dont give it a 1 star is it tracked SOME of my trips Long story short uber driver short distance tracker WORTHLESS Long distance driver over 15 miles its ok but expect it to drain your battery        Great potential but dont waste your time

I am still doing a full test of this app but so far it has perfectly auto locked onto the address I have left from and gone to I was freaking out about paying for an annual subscription so gave this a shot and it does exactly what i need it for Leaving the location awareness and motion awareness does take a bit of toll on the battery though but get a car charger with the money you save from not having to do an annual subscription                 On iPhone 6 tracking works well

This is one of the best app purchases I have ever made I am self employed and really cant be bothered to log my business miles every trip If you have that kind of discipline my hats off to you I love that I dont have to do a thing and it just takes care of it in the background I can delete a trip easily if it wasnt for work and export months of logs to my email where they are displayed on a spreadsheet ready for printing I am running 813 on iPhone 5 I did a search for Best mileage tracker app and this was one of about five recommended I read the reviews and noted some of the glitches but decided to try it anyway hoping some bugs had been fixed It has worked flawlessly                 A fantastic use of technology

This is the coolest app Ive ever used for tracking miles The only problem is that it counts me walking around my house as miles It needs to have a feature to either not count slow movement or small distances Overall great app but need to fix the walking issue              Awesome but needs work

7415 update This app works again The newest update fixes the issues listed in my prior review Plus somehow the developer has found a way for it to use FAR less of my batterys life than before I can now leave it running all day without my phone going dead I had been using another mileage tracking app but sometimes I would forget to start it and other times it wouldnt record my trips After a few days of testing Auto Miles has tracked every trip I made It also captured one that the other tracking app missed I again love this app for its simplicity and great reporting Thank you for listening and fixing the issues with your great app 317 update iOS 82 seems to be confusing the app It now takes hours for the app to record a trip It also will log trips when I am not traveling It logged a 3 hour 01 mile trip the other day while my phone was lying on a table I loved the app until the iOS 82 update 5 stars when this gets sorted out Original review I looked at a number of mileage tracking apps this is the best one I found Some dont work at all some want an expensive annual fee AutoMiles is fairly priced and it works                 UPDATED The best I have found 5 stars again

Honestly this app would be great if it didnt have to be logged back in EVERY TIME YOU RESTART YOUR PHONE I want an app that constantly logs without having to remember it Its gonna end up costing me thousands of dollars in tax write offs I typically dont remember the app until it tells me I havent logged anything recently If it can remind me of that why cant it just stay logged on no matter what     Inadequate app

I should have read these reviews before I purchased the app It does not work reliably or consistently I just needed something that would record my trips and this app advertised it o do just what I needed and all I had to do was launch it and let it run in the background No such luck and it is hard to figure out where the issue is because sometimes it works and sometimes it just doesnt        Not reliable

Quit working since last update Went to export monthly mileage and learned I have nothing Fix it     No longer working

Totally unreliable Tried everything and it works maybe 25 of the time if youre lucky Save your money     Dont bother
