This app is a real life changer if you use a Mac on a network I ve tried many different solutions over the years this one makes life simple In certain circumstances you ll probably want the pro version which is another 4 but allows you to customize the mount point Some apps require mapped drives to be mounted in the Volumes folder Without the upgrade and installation of the helper app you simply can t automount at that location                     Essential for network users jadik

Shortly after I began using this app the developer solved my only major issue the very unwieldy sandboxed mount points Since then the updates have been coming at a very nice pace with bug fixes and new functionality The developer has been very responsive to questions At this point I would not like to live without this very useful app Bravo                     Excellent app and rapidly getting better -tom

This program is exactly what I needed I tried applescript which worked mostly but was a still bit irritating I use a mac at work and I work heavily on a shared folder server The problem I found is that every time my computer would sleep my drives would unmount It s not a big deal to just click okay to log back into the server but when I have documets open that I m working on I constantly was having trouble saving them etc Although this should be a default feature on mac this prgram works perfectly as promised and I ve never noticed a lapse in connectivity I highly recommend the app and it s worth every penny FYI I also use it to keep connected to my AirPort Extreme at home so I can access my networked drive iTunes It s also nice because I never have to reconnect and iTunes always works Update 8 16 2017 I still love this program I hardly ever have to think about my drives anymore The only issue I ve ever had is the fact that the drive mounts to a sandbox type path through the application When working with files deep in a shared folder I found that the path sometimes was much to long to open the file 255 plus characters I just paid the extra 3 bucks for the Pro Settings from their latest update which allows you to mount the drives to the Volumes location instead of the long path for the application My file paths to shared folders and drives are now SIGNIFICANTLY Shorter making my life much easier Although I feel that the pro settings should just be included in the original price of the application it s a much welcomed feature that I ll find much use out of Cheers                     Exactly What I Needed The Pro Settings Art Worth It Mtokozisi

It s always been a challenge to keep external volumes mounted on Mac OS and for those of us who use NAS for hosting iTunes libraries or other key content this app seems so far to resolve those issues with no muss and no fuss I ve typically had to remount all my NAS volumes every time my MacBook wakes from sleep or after any long idle period and what s worse iTunes has a tendency to re point its ITunes Media Library with no warning and no recourse when the expected server volume is unavailble Nearly a week in this app seems to have resolved that issue and taken away one of my personal top five headaches of Mac OS Super easy to configure and super reliable so far Unless something unexpected happens I will happily recommend this app as being worth every penny                     Cautiously optimistic RandyDFW

I ve been using this app for a while with no issues at all and was happy with it The only frustration was that I had to work around the odd mount point the app uses by default through no fault of its own due to the sandboxing required for apps in the Mac App Store I m glad I just happened to check what was added in the latest update I rarely do When I saw we could enable mounting to Volumes I couldn t possibly make the in app purchase and download the helper application fast enough I ve already gotten all that working and can finally switch all of my apps and scripts back to their previous settings targeting the Volumes based mount point which is also much more human readable Thanks for the update Pixeleyes It was an extremely easy extra few dollars to justify spending                     Pro Settings In App Purchase Auhim

I never write reviews but I just had to for this app It s that good It s exactly what you would want from an auto mounting program You just tell it what server what share you want mounted your username if you want it auto mounted or manually and you re done This should be how finder works but sadly it doesn t so get this It s well worth it to have all the servers at work automatically mount when I get to the office and then throughout the day as I put my MBP to sleep or switch connections or go off site Then when I get home it mounts my home NAS Perfect                     I never do this but it s that good iranintoavan

I maintain a continuous mount of several shares on my Netgear 102 NAS Since El Capitan I have had a horrible time with those mounts intermittently going stale I wrote a refresh script to repair the mount relationships when they would break However nothing has worked well with Sierra I am in my third day with the AutoMounter app and it has been great so far Thanks                     Automounting Problem Solved JD8675309JD

I have a few headless Mac s and since upgrading to Mac OS Sierra it was a pain mounting my NAS volumes The new behaviour in Sierra needs user confirmation on connection Automounter worked for me in mounting my NAS volumes without having to press the irritating connect button Its a quick easy solution without resorting to applescript workarounds Well worth the investment                     Works in Sierra Victorize™

This app resolves Sierra asking for shared drive password in keychain after a reboot In addition to needing to connect at home I also needed a configuration to connect to my Airport Disk using DDNS from remote locations This app does the job very well I had specific questions for the developer before purchasing and I received a response promptly An enhancement that would be helpful is a change in menu icon color when at least one share is available or not without viewing within the app on the menu                     Awesome Just Awesome UnkieNeal

It took a bit of playing with the settings to get it to work with my Synology server but after I got it set up it works perfectly Solves the problem that Sierra created very effectivly Really needs more instructions on how to set it up though                     Works great but need documentation HAPet
