The app on my Mac and iPhone will not sync I am unable to authorize my iPhone on my Mac I am signing in with the same login information When I check to see pending devices authorizations it says Couldn t retrieve device list The support pages are useless on this subject Customer service is useless as well They can t figure it out     will not sync customer service no help LWBivens

I used 1Password for 7 years and the bloat finally got in the way Too may features options types of records finally started producing duplicate triplicate and even quadruplicate entries I decided to shop around I downloaded and tried Enpass Lastpass and a couple of others When I found Avast I kept it Just what I was looking for Unlike the others no up front or hidden costs Only two types of records logins and secure notes Syncs using the Avast server It uses multiple encryption algorithms Clean interface No frills I installed it on two Macs and an iPhone Avast imports existing data from other programs limited to the records and fields it has It will not import bank accounts or software licenses just logins and secure notes I made the mistake of importing the existing data into Avast on each computer and ended up with duplicates of every record when the computers synced I spent 4 hours this morning going through the 350 records I had adding the data that didn t import and winnowing out the duplicates many generated by 1Password the others by my import procedure Now everything is correct The Avast program could be improved I always have wished that programmers be forced to use what they code The world would be a better place but the basics are there and works flawlessly Data syncs when the program is opene so is up to date when you need it Despite some clunks I like it very much and expect it will be improved in the future just not too much I hope                 Sparse but simple and reliable RNemcik

I downloaded this on my phone and Mac and can t get my iPhone authorized via the Mac app to sync passwords Its always in a Pending statye At this stage the software is useless This has been a total test of my patients with trying to get this to work 1Password which I own serveral copies works perfect     Flat out doesn t work Web-JIVE.com
