My cheap home security camera system outputs AVI s in an old format that none of my computers would reconize This program was able to read it and convert it to a MOV that plays fine on everything One thing to be aware of is that the stautus bar it shows when converting doesn t really work It says calculating with zero progress and then suddenly it s done at 100 progress Also it took about 10 15 minutes to convert a five minute clip I was starting to think that the program was hung up on the calculating screen but it wasn t that s apperantly just what it does when it s actually doing the conversion                 Good at converting security cam video Kevinhatesthiscrummyapp

I tried two other video converters before this one They were avi files I had been sent and they wouldn t open on my computer nor with the other two programs I tried This one was easy to use I picked a apple tv setting and not only was the conversion done quickly it opened right up Thanks Geranium Software                     Almost gave up then this one worked Wrider31
