Not worth the money Lacks basic functions

Whether its the cameras or firmware or the app Axis products continue to disappointment me Even with their own app on the iPad it cannot log into a M1031W model camera when a third party app and a PC with a browser can utilizing the exact same credentials I dont understand this Further their own desktop application and server based recording application are NOT compatible with all of their own model cameras I find this incredible As a result I am going to have to begin to use and recommend other vendor solutions What a waste considering that Axis was initially a leader in this space Unstable Unreliable

As an update to the previously installed version of this app this stinks The update wipes out all of your previously configured cameras Its necessary to reenter all of the data for each camera Seems like poor programming Poor Design

I cant believe that this happened When I updated the App it deleted hours of configuration Painful Dont update you will lose your entire configuration
